Nom nom! What a great all-around experience. From the minute you walk in until the minute you leave, Earl's will put you in a great mood and fill you up with delicious food & drink! Everyone who works here is friendly and lively, and there is an overall great vibe- kudos to management and staff. Truly a welcoming and lively ambiance with great lighting and energy. Now for the food- yum! We tried the calamari and korean ribs for an appetizer, and my husband had a poke bowl to start. Everything was delicious. I would eat that poke bowl everyday- that might have been my favorite food item, but it's so hard to pick because everything was excellent. For dinner we had steak and sushi (crispy rice with tuna), salmon, chicken salad- again, winners all around. Everyone was raving about their dish. Dessert was the creme brulee cheesecake- excellent, no surprise. Drinks were equally amazing. I can't say enough good things about our experience, our meal, and our service. Maria was our server, and there were many others who brought food, drinks, and served our table- sincerely, whatever management is doing, keep it up. You have a great serving and front of house staff- Maria was personable, knowledge, and truly treated my friend to a wonderful birthday dinner. This newly developed area in downtown Nash is one for the books. First time visiting, but I'll definitely return. Came here for a birthday celebration and was treated and greeted with smiles. It's dimly lit with an intimate vibe. Perfect for celebrations, date night or solo dates at the bar. Jeremy, our table attendant was so attentive. He added even more enjoyment to our first time experience by his hospitality alone. He shared his favorites and crowd favorites to help us in our decision making. When I go to a new place I live to order a little of this and that to get a feel for everything. That's kind of what was done for the appetizers. I highly recommend the dumplings and calamari. Easy 5/5. The corn and avo dip was mid for me. It didn't seem anymore elevated than one you could get at a local food truck or our favorite Mexican restaurant. It is very fresh and light though. Not bad just not my favorite. You have to get oysters. It's only right! For the entree I ordered Truffle Butter Steak medium rare with mashed potatoes, mushrooms and broccolini. The mashed potatoes could have used some salt and pepper. Broccolini was charred perfectly with a hint of lemon zest and oil. They are very generous with the mushrooms given to top the steak. Earls has a stellar happy hour! Great vibes inside. However, happy hour is only at the bar or patio but they are always fully packed. It's literally like the hunger games to get a seat for happy hour. I sat at the bar and people were hovering over us waiting for our seats. However, this is probably one of my favorite happy hours in Nashville now. The nitro espresso martini was good and very well balanced and it was half off for happy hour, so a really good deal. The nitro gave it that nice foam on the top. I also got a margarita and that was good. For food, we got the tuna crispy rice and I would definitely eat another two plates of that. You can choose salmon or tuna for this. The poke was fresh and tasted delicious with all the toppings and microgreens. Probably one of my favorite items here. We also shared the Korean sticky ribs and it was full of flavor and the meat fell right off the bone. Another top food item here, it was so good. I liked that they gave you wipes knowing it would get sticky. Shoutout to Paloma at the bar for amazing service. She was so friendly and great. We had a group of 5 who came in for happy hour on a Wednesday. The HH menu was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised with the food as well. We had a variety of dishes, wine and beer. The wine pours were $3 off 8oz and man, they were nice and big glasses of wine. The tofu and tacos were very flavorful and fun. Everything was hot and made well. It was packed but didn't feel like too much where the house level was overwhelming. We had a nice booth, I just wish it was a little bigger for the group we had. Overall, I had a good experience. The service was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. I ordered the shrimp and scallop pesto pasta and it was okay. My biggest disappointment was the happy hour experience. I specifically came for happy hour, but I was told it's only offered in the lounge and on the patio. Unfortunately, both of those areas were closed that day, and the bar was completely full, so I wasn't able to take advantage of it. That was frustrating since the designated happy hour areas weren't even available. It would've been nice if happy hour had been extended to the dining room under those circumstances. Overall, the service made for a pleasant visit, but I hope they reconsider how they handle happy hour when the lounge and patio are unavailable. read more

Came here twice! Mostly to watch the World Cup matches and was blessed with excellent food and service! First time I came for brunch. Went with the bottomless mimosas with a juice mix of pineapple, orange juice and I think cranberry. To eat, I had the oysters -- I'm in my oysters era AB's this was so worth it! Delicious. Tiny but delicious. I also had the fried chicken sandwich which a side of Caesar salad. Both delicious! The second I came was a weekday: I had more oysters, the horseradish was a very lovely touch. I had the tuna rice cakes which were just okay. And finally the steak frites. The smallest size of steak I've ever had (4oz) because the upgrade to 6oz was absurd. The side salad was meh, fries were good, the bread was delicious. To drink I tried the lychee cocktail and another one I can't remember. The best part of this place is the service. Absolutely phenomenal. Second time we had Jordan as our server and he was exceptional!! He needs to run the place! Ambiance was nice. Parking validation provided. Hot take... Earls is just fine. I think the vibe and energy of the restaurant is better than the food. Sadly they ran out of the steak and sushi which is what I was most excited for. I orders the Cajun filet instead at medium rare and it was cooked medium. I feel at ~$60 a steak I should have my steak cooked the way I like. The flavor was great though. My husband got the pork chop and it was insanely salty. The broccolini on both of our dishes were amazing, probably the best part of the meal. The truffle fries and corn dip are a must for starters. The service was quick and polite and drinks come out so fast! The peach mojito was super yummy. Next time I would like to try their happy hour! Stopped in for a cocktail and light bites prior to heading to my conference. I tried the crispy rice sushi with spicy salmon and it was an excellent choice. The crispness of the rice paired with the soft texture of the salmon, the pairing of the dashi mayo and other spices creates a burst of flavor in every bite. Great venue with many food offerings. Welp! It's my 2nd visit and this solidified my rating. Stopped in for a quick HH as I did on my last visit with my brother whom they know by name. This was exactly what I like to see in a HH. Various food and beverage options. They have HH daily 3-6 and again 9- close. Very lively. First: Our bartender was Kaleb. He was very friendly and attentive. Was happy to answer any questions about the menu. I had a peach Bellini Margarita. It was very tasty. I wanted a sangria but they didn't have any. The Colada Crush was also good. For light bites: Charred Corn and Avo Dip, Birria Tacos, and Truffle Fries. Everything was good. The truffle fries were the star of the show for me. I am a truffle fry connoisseur. if it's on the menu w/ aioli, I'm ordering. Earl's has hands down surpassed my local favorite spot. 4.5 STARS!! Earls is a great new addition to the Nashville Yards area! We'd heard great things and decided to stop by for happy hour to check it out for ourselves. The atmosphere is really nice--definitely more upscale than casual, but still comfortable and inviting. The music was at the perfect volume, and we chose to sit in the lounge, which had a more relaxed vibe. We did end up waiting a little while before anyone came over to our table, but the managers noticed right away and made sure we were taken care of. They turned the experience around quickly, and our server even surprised us with mini espresso martinis, which were absolutely delicious. The happy hour menu is EXTENSIVE, with plenty of great options. We ordered the charred corn and avocado dip, crispy rice with spicy ahi tuna, and the Szechuan shrimp and pork dumplings. The dumplings were hands down the star of the meal--a must-order! The charred corn and avocado dip were also really good, especially with the flavorful sauce and chili seasoning. The crispy rice was tasty too, although I personally wish the tuna had a little more heat. Our server, Ron, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some great recommendations for when we come back for dinner. Even though he was clearly busy (which we totally understood!), he was friendly, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of. Overall, despite the slow start, the service recovery was excellent, the food and drinks were impressive, and we left excited to come back and try more of the menu. Tried this place for brunch while I was in town, and I absolutely loved it! Our server was really funny and was great at checking on us without being over the top, and the place itself has such a cute vibe to it! I ordered the sparkling peach mojito, which was really refreshing! It was the perfect start to brunch, and it became a fan favorite at my table. For food, I ordered the chilaquiles. I truly wish they added more chips to add more crunch to the dish since it's primarily made with tortilla chips, but I still really enjoyed it with the delicious twist of the crispy potato pave at the bottom of the dish. Wow, Earls was an experience! The beautiful space has a large dining room and bars with an upscale feel throughout. Service was excellent; I was with a big group and our server handled our many annoying questions/requests with aplomb. Super friendly, patient, and prompt throughout our meal. The food was delicious. We shared a bunch of appetizers, and I enjoyed the dumplings and the random bites of sushi that appeared on my plate. The dumpling had a chewy outside and a juicy filling, really well prepared. My main was a bibimbap bowl, nothing too fancy but it was well executed. Lots of fresh ingredients, and a sauce that added a little bit of flavor, though I would have liked more spice to the dish. Still delicious and hearty, a very filling entree. The desserts were fantastic; the key lime pie wasn't a classic Joe's slice, but still packed a punch in terms of flavor. And I think the cheesecake was my favorite; again not a "classic" style but I like that they were adventurous with a bit of caramelization on the top layer. Earls is part of a significant chain, having over 70 locations across the US and Canada. The steak and eggs for breakfast is phenomenal, where the highlight is actually not the steak or the eggs, but the thinly sliced cubes of potatoes layered and fried. A cool twist on classic breakfast potatoes that isn't just a gimmick, but actually phenomenal. Then there is the sushi selection which is equally wonderful. When it comes to ambiance, it's very pleasant inside and the highlight is arguably the patio. It's one of the very few patios that aren't facing a street, so there is a cozy and very pleasant vibe to it. On weekends, it gets quite busy and fun, so it's a great date spot. My new fave happy hour spot I am a happy hour fiend. I work a job with a lot of flexibility, so I find myself a frequenter of happy hours. There is nary a happy hour I have not tried in this city. This one is top notch. Vibe here is so gorg. I feel like a fancy broad when I'm here, which is not real but a fun persona I play pretend with. Everyone that works here is really hot- to the point that I think they just attend model casting calls and hire from there. Special shout out to Donté for his amazing service and stellar recommendation on desserts, and Maddy (potentially madison or close I am so sorry I cannot remember) for looking like a more radiant kiernan shipka and being so attentive when my table was being difficult. Honestly I've only eaten the happy hour menu here. I'm sure everything else is divine, but I'm bougie on a budget. Made reservations the week before just in case Saturday night got packed. Hostess greeted us right away, gave my name, and we were seated in less than 10 mins. While waiting I scanned the QR code for parking and handled that real quick. Smooth process. Started with the Earls Old Fashioned. I'm more of a whiskey guy, but that bourbon drink was legit with the bitters. For apps we shared the Little Gem Caesar salad. Flavor was good but whoever tossed it was acting like the dressing was liquid gold lol. Still good though. Also had a half dozen raw oysters with the mignonette. Little tiny, briny, little sweet, but fresh and hit the spot. Not sure what they were wasn't specified on the menu. They weren't blue points but I could be wrong. Seems like TN has a lot of blue points shipped or raised somewhere in the region. Hard enough finding good fresh oysters in Tennessee without playing seafood roulette. Even though that seafood tower I was eyeballing looked amazing lol. Wifey got the Cajun Blackened Steak with mash and broccolini. She gave me a bite and whewww that steak was smackin! We shared the Sticky Korean Ribs, Charred Corn & Avocado Dip, East Coast oysters, Crispy Rice Sushi (ahi tuna and salmon), Steak Frites, and the Szechuan Shrimp & Pork Dumplings. The fresh East Coast oysters were my favorite! The Charred Corn & Avocado Dip was a great summer appetizer, and the Szechuan dumplings with the chili crunch black vinegar were packed with flavor. The Steak Frites were delicious, and the truffle fries are always a winner. The ahi tuna crispy rice was excellent, while the salmon version wasn't my favorite since the rice was a bit too crispy. The Korean ribs were tender with a nice BBQ flavor but didn't stand out compared to the other dishes. The drinks were fantastic! I highly recommend the Guava Vodka Crush for a refreshing summer cocktail. We also enjoyed the White Sangria, a non-alcoholic mule, an Old Fashioned, and the Premier 42 Margarita. We were celebrating my friend's birthday, and our wonderful server surprised us with a complimentary crème brûlée cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious along with a molten lava cake with a birthday candle, making the celebration even more special. The place was packed on a Thursday afternoon, so I can only imagine how busy it gets on the weekends. Well this place took me by happy surprise. I did not expect to fall head over heels but i totally did. In just the first few weeks i tried brunch, lunch, cocktail and dinners and I have been mighty impressed every time. They got this down, all the way from the kind (!) hostesses to the last lick of that desert you did not know you wanted - you will be happy! They have a normal size menu but still manages to find the perfect dish for "everyone". I have visited with various groups and every time i have felt like this was the best restaurant pick I could have done. The ambiance is beautiful without feeling stuffy. And when I looked it up it was only like $3 for that bottle at target so a bit of an upcharge. I do think the food was quite tasty and a great variety but it's definitely quite overpriced. We were made to feel unwelcome almost immediately, and I came away concerned that our appearance may have influenced how we were treated. Toward the end of the bar, I noticed two open seats and asked the bartender whether we could sit there. She looked me up and down, seemed irritated, and said something like, "I'm trying to clean this up here," before explaining that alcohol was no longer being served at those two seats, although the rest of the bar remained open. Shortly afterward, I saw her serving other customers in that same section. When I asked the hostess whether that was normal, she indicated that it was not and said she would get a manager. When the manager approached our table, she immediately said, "I understand there was a miscommunication and that you may have misunderstood our bartender." That felt like a judgment before she had heard my side. She then explained that she had already told the bartender the bar was open, but that explanation did not make sense to me. If the issue was that we had been refused service, how could that have been addressed before I reported it? From my perspective, it felt less like an explanation and more like she was covering for the bartender. The manager also said it was the bartender's first shift and offered to take our first round of drinks off the bill. I appreciated the comp, but it did not explain why we were refused service and then other customers were served almost immediately afterward. My husband and I looked noticeably alternative: I have a shaved head and many tattoos, and he had his mohawk up. We had more than enough money to pay our bill and came ready to enjoy ourselves. I cannot know the bartender's motive, but after watching her assess my appearance, refuse us service, and then serve customers who appeared more conventional, it felt like possible appearance based discrimination. The rest of the visit reinforced that impression. Our server made the meal feel transactional, like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. His tone was curt, more "what do you want" than welcoming or hospitable. After we ate, when the bill came and I mentioned that the manager had offered to take our first round off the bill, he reacted like it was a huge inconvenience for him. The California roll was also disappointing: undisclosed wasabi, watery crab, and overpriced for the quality. We left feeling judged and unwelcome. This was a great experience for my b-day, our server Ben was knowledgeable and extremely nice. If you want a more livelier ambiance sit in the lounge area. The service was honestly top tier, we were also seated rather quickly. We started off with cocktails, the peach Bellini margarita as well as the spicy mezcal also both were delicious. The Korean ribs were crispy and tender. The Caesar with grilled chicken was fresh and the steak frites were super flavorful. We ended with a crème brûlée cheesecake. Dustin was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, knew the menu front to back, and somehow appeared at the table every time we needed something without actually hovering. The entire staff was equally attentive and, for reasons I can't explain, looked like they were recruited from a modeling agency. The steak and sushi weren't the best I've ever had, but Dustin's service was so good that I found myself caring a lot less about that than I normally would. Great service can cover a multitude of sins, and Dustin put in a Hall of Fame performance. We'd come back just for the service alone. read more

We had a fantastic dinner! Everything was delicious. We started out with dumplings, me and wife split the cajun chicken and each had a salad. Mine Ceasar, hers was a House salad. Loved the vibe, ambiance and service was excellent! The place was packed but everything was nice and hot! Really enjoyed it. read more
