Wild place on a Sunday evening! Biggest piece of advice: call 30 min before you plan to arrive and you will essentially skip the line when you get to the restaurant. We were seated within 10 min of arriving, meanwhile there were probably 100 people in the foyer waiting. We sat in the bar area at a table. Jef was our waiter and he was attentive with refilling drinks. The complimentary bread and cinnamon butter was good. We came to celebrate my brother's birthday and he is part of their rewards program. On their website they advertise that you get a free app on your birthday however he never got the email with the coupon. When we explained this to Vilma the manager, she basically blamed it on corporate rules and would not budge on allowing the free app. First disappointing experience! Make sure you ask for peanuts or else they don't automatically bring them. I thought the portion size for the price was great. I had the 3 filet medallions with rice, a baked potato and Caesar salad. Steak was cooked medium, just how I ordered it. I wasn't a fan of the chicken tenders as they weren't crispy enough. The ribs were delicious and fell off the bone. We ordered the chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert and wanted to sing to my brother. We waited 15 min for it to arrive. When Jef arrived with it, there was no ice cream on top and no candle to sing happy birthday. We were disappointed and Jef apologized saying they ran out of ice cream and he couldn't find the candles. He asked if we still wanted to dessert but didn't say it would be comped (since it wasn't what we originally ordered) so we declined. Overall, the food was pretty average. Portions are large! This was my first time ever going to a Texas Roadhouse and it was pretty good! They start you off with some warm buns with cinnamon sugar butter, which were great. For apps, went with the Rattlesnake Bites, which are spicy little melty fried cheeseballs. I also had a refreshing glass of Sparkling Berry Bliss. For my entree, I felt adventurous and went with the Country Fried Sirloin with a cup of Texas Red Chili and Mashed Potatoes as my sides. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was and fairly tender. The chili has a lot of depth and was tasty, definitely on the thicker side so I doubt I'd ever be able to eat a whole bowl, and the ground beef in it was very good. The food came to the table like warm. Now let's go to the best part. The server Brenden was fantastic very attentive and I could see the concern in his face when we did not get our food. We made sure we paid in cash because the last Time we went there, they added an 18% tip to our credit card. They did remove it after I called the manager. First time coming to Texas Roadhouse, I have heard great things about it and it is totally true! I love the ambiance of the place. It really feels like you have stepped into one of Teaxas' roadhouses. The service was amazing, the servers were so friendly and kind. The food was amazing. My family and I visited for the first time in a Friday night and arrived at 830pm. We had previously joined the waitlist and receded within five minutes of arrival. The bread was baked, nice and fresh and the cinnamon butter was definitely a hit. Our server Glenny was really helpful and friendly. She listened well and explained all of the different options. The only hiccup that transpired during our dinner was that my son's steak was not cooked well done and was too bloody, which caused him to get sick because he stuffed two pieces into his mouth very quickly before it could be inspected. I also should've asked about what ingredients were in the mashed potatoes to avoid allergic reactions. Thankfully, Glenny was very responsive and attentive, and was able to help us problem solve effectively. As a server, she gets 10 out of 10. The food overall was great and the steak was well seasoned. The mac & cheese was also pretty good. In general, I would look forward to returning to this restaurant with more precautions next time. Went with my plus one had a great dinner tonight at the Texas Roadhouse in East Meadow! From start to finish, everything was excellent. The famous warm rolls with cinnamon butter were absolutely delicious, it's very hard not to stop eating them before the meal even arrives! I ordered the 6oz sirloin steak with sweet potatoes and broccoli, and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and flavorful, the sweet potato was topped just right, and the broccoli was fresh and nicely seasoned. It's been a long time since we step foot into Texas Roadhouse but my son has been wanting to go. We had to oblige since he is returning to school soon. I wanted another order but again, that bread. The wild rice was on point as well. The food was HOT , not like warm, not cold , nor even warm. I guess that's why it was so delicious. We ordered sangrias, do all women like frozen stuff? She had the frozen sangria and I, regular. Inky thing different was. I have been to sangria bars and the do serve it differently than other places. So the sangria was on the rocks. More like on a cluster. I prefered not to add a shot because I have a special license and didn't want to catch a DUI. It was crowded on a Sunday night. But we put ourselves on a waiting list 20-30 minutes before we arrived. When we got there we still waited 10 minutes before we got a table. The lady led us to the table and placed down their famous rolls with cinnamon butter which were very good. The dining area was lively but not too noisy. Several games were playing on the big screen TV's around the room. The waitress Sharee was very friendly. She acknowledged us even though it was a very busy night and she was on her way to deliver drinks. She came back and realized that no one had given us utensils and immediately went to get us some. When she came back she took our drink orders and food order. Since we ordered prime rib she said she's going to put our order in first so that it doesn't run out before bringing our drinks and more rolls. At the end of the night we finished off 4 baskets of rolls. They were even better hot. The sides were basic but the star was the prime rib. I've been wanting to try Texas Roadhouse for the longest time, so I was thrilled to find that there's one on Long Island! My fiance and I came around 7:45pm on a Friday night and it was PACKED. Our quoted wait time for a party of 2 was 30 mins, but we were seated closer to the 20 min mark. I've always heard that the bread rolls at Texas Roadhouse have a cult following, and I finally understand why. The bread is SO freakin delicious on it's own. We're not huge cinnamon fans so we asked for regular whipped butter instead, and this was delightful. For our entrees, I ordered the 14oz ribeye with sweet potato and caesar salad, and he ordered the ribs + ribeye combo with corn and fries. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and it honestly exceeded all expectations I had of a chain steakhouse. The ribs on the other hand were DRY - hard pass. Sweet potato & caesar are safe sides, fries were okay but salty, and would skip the corn next time. Service is kind & fast, but a bit difficult to flag down your original wait staff. Thankfully we were before dinner peak time and only about 10 minutes before we get to be seated. 4:30pm is already busy time for them but our order and serve weren't slow as Saturday dinner. But kitchen might be in over capacity my rib eye steak were a little over cooked and steak fries came separately and late. Steak and shrimp combination came with dipping sauce but the sauce in a little container had been spread empty. Friday night, not the best experience this visit, service was poor. Frozen machine did not work so we couldn't get frozen margaritas. Waitress seemed annoyed having to wait a few moments for our new drink order. Not our fault so have some patience. She continuously forgot items, had to ask 3 times for my gravy. My mash was cold to start so she brought a new one but by the time my gravy arrived it was cold again. Steak was chewy and dry. Combo ribs were end piece but inedible, completely burnt and dry, had to ask for replacement. Several things were way too salty like the mushrooms. I am most amazed by how efficiently the restaurant runs. You are directed to your table by a staff with your ticket number and a basket of warm bread. Our server then greeted us and let us know they will be right with us while he checked on the food from another table. Menus were already at the table so we can start deciding right away. The restuarant had a Western theme mixed with a little bit of a sports bar feel. Giant TVs with bowl games streaming and a mural of the Giants helmet catch over the Patriots. Food came out quickly and were delicious. Long Island Iced Tea was $5 and was pretty strong. The ribeye was cooked prefectly but I felt the bark on the ribs were a little burnt. The prime rib came out a little more rare than our preferred medium but that didnt stop by girlfriend from devouring it. If it wasnt for the two baskets of bread we pit down before our food came we might have been able to finish our entrees. I liked my food! But watch out for tricks when paying! This is a great place for teenagers and college kids, affordable and great amount of food. Although I was annoyed by the college kids sitting behind me constantly shaking the booth. Services were alright. I don't know how they assign tables, but the two tables next to us all have different waitresses from ours; once our waitress leaves and not expecting more orders, it's hard to see her again for water refills or fix the check on the screen. Maybe she was also assigned to another table that's far from ours. The manager heard it's our first time there, came by with another bag of peanuts and a coupon for a free appetizer next time. The bread was so good that I couldn't stop eating, after two breads and some appetizers, I was already full. We overestimated how much we can eat and underestimated the serving sizes ended up taking home at least half of the food. Prime rib is surprisingly tender, definitely recommend to everyone! Chili and taters are just okay. The check comes in hard copy, but you pay on the screen on your table. Be careful with the game function on there, which charges $1.99. The screen was covered by menu the whole time, I don't really understand why would they build in this function when people are paying and leaving, at least would make more sense if they try to scam extra charge when people are waiting for food to arrive. Been to this particular TR in East Meadow several times. My only consistent complaint is that it's very crowded, noisy & you feel like you are being rushed out to get the table to the next customer. I'm not a fan of eating that way. However, I've only been disappointed by the actual food one time. Our steaks both came out undercooked and we couldn't find our waiter for quite some time. He was a young man, new to the job. We didn't hold it against him.
