Great addition to the restaurants on the outside of Roosevelt Field Mall - there's an entrance on the outside straight from a parking lot. I heard their happy hour specials are great, so I need to come back for that! 2 adults and one kid on a weeknight. Large space, beautifully decorated, friendly and helpful staff. Most of the menu is gluten-free and you can also customize your order. The food and drinks we tried were delicious. 2 of us each had a bowl, one had 3 tacos, plus we shared guacamole w chips. 2 shared churros and one had gelato. Dinner ordering and service went great, but they seemed to have forgotten to put in our dessert order. We waited a VERY long time. While we were waiting for dessert a could servers were nearby cleaning other tables, not checking on us. Eventually we were able to call one over to check on our dessert order. It finally arrived soon after that.

Great addition to the outside mall area. Food is clean and delicious and the drinks are top notch!! You can smell the fresh citrus being squeezed into the drinks. The produce that goes into each drink is very fresh including the mint leaves. The staff is attentive and ready to please. Tacos are small as they should be. The recommendations of choosing 3-5 a person sounds about right, definitely more than 5 if you're not having apps. I opted for the bib lettuce tacos, one with shrimp and one with cauliflower. My husband had a variety of the other types and loved them all. The cucumber side dish was delicious. The kimchi was too salty for us but tasty. My watermelon mint margarita was refreshingly yummy and the mojito was fantastic as well! The place has a cool summer vibe with blue and white pillows along benches. It's pretty busy if you want a table but bar area isn't a problem.

Awesome place to come and eat when you're shopping! Surprisingly yummy food and good prices. Tacos were all delicious, my fav being the carne asada. We like the check off for your order system - makes sure everything runs smoothly and quickly. Ambiance was great and quiet. Great place!!

I came here with my husband for lunch and they told us to go the bar for happy hour. We went and we waited a little to get served but there was only one bartender. Then when we got served I ordered the happy hour margarita and it was super good. We ordered our tacos and man were they good especially the pork belly tacos. Those tacos were out of this world. I also ordered the spindrift seltzer and it was a good deal for $4. The tacos are bite size tacos so you need to order like 5 to be full. I would definitely come back but they needed more another bartender to make the service faster!

Nice and cute decor, came for lunch during the weekday and it had a few groups eating lunch already. We got a passion fruit margarita, regular margarita and one with spinach mango and passion fruit. We all enjoyed the cocktails. So fresh and great. Got the large guac and it was our first time seeing the chips as a giant circle instead of pieces but it was good and so was the guac. Favorite tacos: shrimp, fish (fried), pork belly. Pass on the chicken and ribeye (very dry) The shrimp ceviche was flavorful and the hot sauces they have on the table (3 of them) were all good. For service if you need someone you have to put the card on the holder and then they will come. Other than that they won't come.

The location is beautiful inside, beachy vibes I love it. THE WAITERS ARE ALWAYS NICE IN BOTH MY EXPERIENCES ...THE BARTENDER WITH THE FRO WAS MY FAV . The food is always fresh...the big back in me always wants more but I limit myself to 3. Food made quth Fresh ingredients with a small menu but its a very good menu, no guilt in your meals.

I came back with my cousin after initially visiting in June and had yet another great experience! The service from the moment you check in is amazing, with staff smiling at you and explaining how to order, and asking if everything's good throughout. It is honestly really refreshing and makes you feel welcomed. For the food, we each got two tacos and shared the guac + chips and the street corn off the cob. I hadn't tried the corn and was obsessed! It was delicious and i even added some sauce that was provided and it was even better. The cauliflower taco isn't the most traditional but i recommend it, it's flavorful, and my cousin and I both agreed we'd get it again. this place is also super affordable, and the ambiance is a vibe , with dim lighting and good music. I overall recommend and will be back more often !

I was pleasantly surprised that I loved it here!!! I will definitely be back to the more tacos. Quick service and an interesting way of ordering. Super easy to pay and split the bill. Can't wait to come back!

Walked in to 90's R&B playing - quick greeting and placement - an attentive waiter who explained options of placing orders. Started with guacamole and chips - Yucatán shrimp taco (least favorite) pork belly (loved it) fish taco (tasty) Brussels sprouts (delicious) roasted duck (ok but very dry) never received my ahi tuna - my friend ordered the churro bites (very disappointing - he said it tasted like pancake batter and was raw/undercooked inside) I ordered the key lime and it was good - I love the simple decor we were seated in a booth area that remind me of sitting on a boat.

Came on a Saturday afternoon and parking was tough, but once inside the restaurant had a cool atmosphere while still feeling very casual and relaxed. We were a party of three without reservations and were seated right away. We started with chips, guacamole, and the red and green salsas. The chips are more like thin tortillas and were the perfect pairing with a cold beer. For tacos, we tried the duck, pork belly, mojo pork, fish, and chicken verde. The portion size was just right--enough to try a few and still leave full without feeling heavy. The fish taco was one of the best I've had: perfectly crispy with a great crunch, balanced with slaw and sauce. The mojo pork was also really flavorful with a great sauce. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only downside was that the bathrooms were a bit messy. On a positive note, we noticed dogs outside, which is great if you're looking for a dog-friendly spot. Overall, great tacos, fun atmosphere, and we'll definitely be back.

Bartaco is the perfect addition to the Roosevelt Field Mall Restaurant collection. I believe it opened a few months ago, replacing Osteria Morini. I came here last night for the first time, and without a doubt will return again in the near future. The food, flavors, and price point are entirely worth it. 1. Food- A variety of tacos to choose from. There are plentiful meat, pescatarian, and vegetarian options. I personally recommend the Chicken Verde and Chile Lime Shrimp tacos. The sesame ribeye taco was just okay, too much kimchi for me. They also have a fun appetizer sampler that gives you a taste of the street corn, guac, plantains and a refreshing cucumber salad. I highly recommend this for 1440 calories! I love that the menu includes nutrition/calorie information. Side note, if you are a sour cream lover, they have none. You can either run to Chipotle next door for a side of sour cream or try their delicious (really delicious) gordita sauce. I hope Bartaco decides to add sour cream to the menu, but I can also see why they don't have it. 2. Decor- They really redid the space quite nicely. The outdoor seating option is ideal for the summer, but the inside is pretty breathtaking. Coming here makes you feel like you are in California! 3. Staff- Everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive. Our server gave us great recommendations and made us feel welcome despite our condiment debacle. We left him a good tip, as it isn't his fault that you guys don't have sour cream! He tried his best

This has become my new favorite quick bites spot at the mall. I frequent Roosevelt Field often and this is such a good addition. The food is amazing. You don't have to ask what's in the tacos, because the flavors are all paired so perfectly. The tiny kale cesar salad is one of my favorite things to get, it's soooo good and just the right size to pair with tacos. Now let's get into the drinks, all of the juices are FRESH! They make wonderful mocktails with natural sweeteners and fresh juice. The mixers that go into the cocktails are also squeezed fresh, on site as the drinks are made. The margaritas and tequila drinks are sooo refreshing. The servers are always friendly, service is pretty quick depending on the crowd. I normally sit at the bar and I love that they have outlets and bag hooks at the bar, so easy for a recharge, a bite and a drink while shopping. This restaurant has easy access because it is on one of the corners of the mall, so you enter from the parking lot. of the juices

The restaurant has a beautiful, bright, modern atmosphere that feels much more upscale than its surroundings. Based on other reviews, the standout dishes seemed to be the grilled Spanish octopus and the SB Smash Burger, so I ordered both. Unfortunately, the execution fell short in several areas. The East Coast oysters arrived with mignonette but without horseradish or oyster forks--small details, but noticeable oversights. The oysters, octopus, and burger were all tasty, but the presentation of octopus and burger was surprisingly sloppy, as though little attention had been paid when the dishes left the kitchen. The bar also was understaffed. A single bartender was serving both the bar and the entire dining room, which led to waits for drinks. My bartender was friendly, attentive, and worked hard, but one person simply wasn't enough. I finished with the Key Lime Custard, which had what appeared to be a layer of shredded cereal on the bottom. I wasn't sure what it was. The dessert itself was enjoyable, though I think a base of toasted sliced almonds with a few fried blueberries on top of it would have added better texture and complemented the flavors more effectively. One nice perk is the validated valet parking, for a reduced fee, which makes arriving and leaving especially convenient given the mall location. The whiskey selection could also be improved by adding a few more interesting, off-the-beaten-path single malts or blends. Overall, the kitchen shows promise! And perhaps I came on an off night. With better attention to presentation, appropriate bar staffing, and a more adventurous choice of spirits, Small Batch could deliver an experience that better matches its reputation.

Normally, I don't start a review on a negative but after we left and counting up all the missteps, I felt off. My wife is more forgiving, she liked the Frito Misto and Bolognese. It's hard to believe this was a BBQ spot a few years ago. The glass garage door is still in place, back in the day it was enjoyable during the spring. There's a reason why it's called Sparrow Cocktails. I ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned. Made with Angel's Envy Bourbon and wood smoked chips, this was a great cocktail before dinner. The Frito Misto had a delicate coating, it wasn't overly battered. The green dipping sauce served on the side was bland. It didn't add to the dish and was thin. The Malfalde Bolognese was a hearty portion, we were able to share this large dish between the two of us. My son ordered the stuff Nutella French Toast and ended up sending them back. The eggs he was served were also quite salty. My daughter did not enjoy her burger, which was unusually thick and difficult to eat as prepared. My wife finished her meal, but she did not find it particularly enjoyable and felt the portion size was too small for the price. I think part of the issue may have been the limited Father's Day brunch menu. Had there been more options available, we might have found dishes that better suited our tastes. Additionally, dessert was not included in the package, which was somewhat disappointing. While the atmosphere and service were definite positives, the food did not meet our expectations. Definitely one of those "I should stop eating this so I have room for dinner" situations . We also shared the Fritto Misto with calamari, pesce, artichoke, hot peppers, lemon, and fra diavolo. I even found some nice chunks of fried salmon mixed in. Everything was lightly fried rather than heavily battered or greasy, but still packed with flavor. The fra diavolo on the side complemented it perfectly. For our entrées, we both ordered the $58 Spaghetti with Maine lobster, pecorino, fra diavolo, and basil. SO GOOD!
