This is for the tower itself, not the HOA…read more I give Arlington Towers 3 stars only because I have to leave room for towers that are much much worse. By the way, I don't mean to disparage the residents of any tower. I'm talking about how the towers themselves compare to each other. By comparison to towers such as Palladio and Montage, this one is dingy, dated, and inconvenient. The only thing it really has going for it is the location. A westerly-facing unit has incredible views of the river, but I think you'd be happier with a Park Towers unit if you really want to see the river life. Or go for a southerly-facing unit in Arlington Towers. Anyway, the commercial space is your first clue that AT is not going to be the most amazing vertical living experience. Currently, the commercial space is occupied by a loud bar, a property management firm, and a trinket shop. It's not that I'm a snob, it's just that those types of venues attract nonresidents who don't necessarily add to the cache. The second mark against AT is its parking situation. Parking is in the next building over, so you have to take a sky tunnel to get to your parking. Contrast that to a tower with subterranean parking where you just take the elevator down and drive away. This situation adds about 5 minutes to your exodus or return. Finally, I noticed just a general state of disrepair. I don't know where the HOA dues go, but it's not into painting the halls and replacing beaten-down carpets. I read a similar comment from another resident who said he couldn't tell where the HOA dues went. With Palladio and Montage, you can tell. All in all, I would still consider living here. However, you an probably negotiate on pricing. Rents seem high considering that you can get a place at Montage or Palladio for $0-200/mo more.

My debt for this property was given to my ex in the divorce. They still refused to let me on property to visit friends there. I can understand 86 for bad behavior. But there was none of that. Bottom line. Don't rent from here. They are compassionless and enjoy penalizing people. Many believe this place is a scheme to evict and move in new people constantly.
