Other guests who were celebrating appeared to be between 25-30 y/o. All guests were definitely over 21 y/o. They had a DJ which played today's hits (the club version of popular music on the radio). The dress code was between casual and formal. Jeans are appropriate. They do not split the bill here and only take two credit cards maximum. Came here for the first time Sunday with a group of 8 women. I did make a reservation pretty far in advance, and good thing I did Bc it was very busy. When we sat down the waitress explained the menu to us and right away brought us pitchers for the table of mimosa's, man-Mosa, and Bellini. The drinks tasted great and were refilled as often as we wanted. The food was excellent. I ordered the pancakes and breakfast burger. Both were delicious. This is my second time going to the Mosa Social, and there was a big difference in the service and quality of food. This year before the brunch we got a call saying they weren't allowed to serve unlimited mimosas anymore, which wasn't a big issue because there would also be a drag show. We were a party of 5 and had finished our second pitcher($30 a pitcher) and were waiting to order a third but our server never came back around, and by the time he did come he said we missed last call. The food last year was amazing with a bunch of different options, this year there were the standard breakfast foods, many of which weren't refilled and cold. We attended brunch last Sunday and let me tell you it was worth the price. There were a variety of both breakfast foods and lunch items that were available to the guests. They had an omelette station as well as food items for those with different dietary needs, allergies, and or those who are just trying to be healthy. Throughout the brunch our waitress Jillian was very attentive and brought over pitchers of the drinks of our choice which were Bellini's, mimosas, and bloody Mary's. The DJ played music while we were dining. Additionally, he played various games with with the diners to win hats and shirts and even free brunch. Our bill was reasonably priced ; it came to about $60 per girl including tip. After the brunch was over, we went into the other room where they had a DJ and had a great time in there as well. This brunch had beautiful decorations including flowers props to take pictures and more importantly an amazing staff. The manager Roe came over to make sure that the service was good and then we were happy with our dining experience. I would highly recommend this brunch. My cousin recently celebrated her birthday at the Mosa Social and our experience was unreal! The atmosphere was amazing. The music, the dancing, and especially the food was exceptional! The penne vodka and the chicken francaise were particularly my favorite. Rosalia and Mike, the owners, really know how to throw a party. The staff was attentive and provided excellent service. The staff even came out with cupcakes for everyone who was celebrating something. This place was awesome, it's a new spot (they only started doing brunch in October) and the idea is that it's like going to a NYC brunch but here in New Jersey instead. The food is amazing, there is a DJ playing some live music and the service is really good. $35 gets you an appetizer, a brunch entree and unlimited drinks for 2 hours. I can't say enough good things about the food, the muffin they have on the apps menu is insane, and the brunch burger was one of the best burgers I've had in recent memory. We went to Mosa Social for my friends Sunday birthday. Upon entering, everything was very pretty and well put together. But, upon coming we were told the upstairs lounge area was closed off for the day due to limited amounts of booking (upstairs is where the have the DJ and additional tables). Despite hearing the loud music... we proceeded to the tables downstairs off to the side. My food was OK. My friends on the other hand devoured theres! But, for the 35$ and unlimited mimosas I totally recommend it. Although SUPER SWEET, our waiter wasn't the best. She would say one thing and another waiter would say something totally different when asked. I'm not sure if it was her first time waitressing an event like this, or what. But our group found that a little annoying. After brunch (literally 10 minutes before closing), we asked another host about the music upstairs. He then said you guys can go and party upstairs for sure. When we got upstairs there was another group dancing and listening to music. We were super bummed out because we were told something different upon arrival. But overall, the place, the food, ambiance and experience was OK for its price. From 12:15-2:15 you have a bottomless brunch along with bottomless mimosas, Bellini's, man-Mosas, and a few other options. My friends and I came for a birthday. The brunch had so many options, totally worth the $45. Unfortunately our server wasn't that attentive to us and when we got her attention for refills she told us we had to much on the table and had stuff still in our pitcher. We tried to stay on top of ordering drinks so we weren't waiting around for 10-15 minutes. The DJ that was there was good also. So now comes 215 so we are moved to the front room, not nearly as big as where we were sitting for brunch. The DJ moved out there and there was a tony dance area and two tables to reserve. There is a bar to order drinks but my suggestion is get drunk during brunch. It look 10 minutes to get 4 beers. Then we find out they are $7 so we were better off getting a mixed drink that was strong. There were 3 bartenders who had no idea what they were doing and kept bumping into each other. As we were waiting someone tried to pay with a card and they said the system was down. There should have been a sign stating that or mentioned prior to ordering drinks. Best brunch spot in NJ! I've been here twice and always left with a belly full of delicious food and mimosas. The venue is beautiful and the staff is awesome. For a flat price you get bottomless mimosas and food for two hours which is plenty of time to eat and drink. They always have certain specials/seasonal items too! When you book for your birthday they gave you and all the other people celebrating birthdays a cupcake with a sparkler on it. People come around whenever they see your mimosa pitcher near empty and ask if you want a refill. They also have different drink options (bellinis, man-mosas, etc) if you aren't into the traditional mimosa. There are also other drinks you can purchase for an additional price if you don't want to drink champagne, but if you're paying for it you might as well drink it. After the 2 hours is up you get to go upstairs where they have a dj/dance space and drinks for purchase. Highly recommended. Great spot for a birthday, mother's day, or just a fun day planned with friends. People of all ages go too... so don't worry about being "too old" because there is no such thing at the Mosa Social. Came here for the second time and what a different experience. I have been raving about this place to my friends and was very excited to visit again. We sat in the main dining room and were very uncomfortable because it was freezing even with our winter jackets. We were excited about the champagne drinks but they were the most disappointing part of brunch because they were using Verdi Spumante. This made them way to sweet and undrinkable. We ended up having to purchase bottles of prosecco ($35 per bottle) so we can enjoy some delicious bubbly drinks. The prosecco was initially not chilled so perhaps they should keep it chilled in case anyone is interested. Our waitress was sweet but forgetful as we had to ask for soda refills and orange juice a few times before they actually arrived. The food was tasty but was not warm when it arrived. I was also disappointed that unlike last time, the owners did not stop by the table to check on us. I would have certainly liked to discuss our experience with them. I REALLY wanted to give this place five stars, but based on my personal experience I can't. I came here with my boyfriend and another couple to catch up and celebrate my boyfriends birthday. I made reservations about three weeks in advance. When we arrived it seemed like they didn't have a table for us and were a little backed up. When you walk in there's a dining area to your left and a DJ at the bar to your right. The music was at a good volume. We were taken upstairs since there was no room for us downstairs and for about the first 30 minutes we were literally the only people up there besides the DJ. We asked the waitress right off the bat if she could ask the DJ to lower the music a little because we were screaming and still couldn't hear each other. The music upstairs was so much louder than downstairs because it was meant to be the party portion of brunch. It was a little strange being up there for the eating portion of or time there because there was only one other table besides ours and then a large dance floor. After the first hour of being up there the music was just becoming unbearable. We were resorting to talking via group text on our phones. I went downstairs to talk to a manager about it and he said he would talk to the DJ and try and move us downstairs. The music was just ridiculously loud and there was only us and one other table up there. The owner came over to us to apologize and to buy us shots. I appreciated this so much, but at the end of the day the only thing that would have made things better was moving us down stairs. He had the DJ turn down the music and that only lasted for about 20 minutes because then the loft party stared. We were just receiving our food after being there for an hour and a half and meanwhile we were sitting in the middle of a full blown party with smoke and strobe lights. It was so awkward for us because we were trying to have our brunch while everyone around us was having a dance party. We wanted to stay for the party portion, but after two hours of listing to the music that loud we pretty much had enough. I lived in the city for four years and I love loud music and dancing, but not during portion of the meal that you're sitting down and eating. My suggestion would be to never seat people upstairs. Everyone else drank and had conversation then came upstairs for music and dancing and we missed out on that because we were stuck up there the whole time. The food, drinks, and service were amazing, but I'm not sure if I'll ever return because I fear having the same experience. read more
