avocado toast, turkey bacon, chicken sandwich
    Joyce K.

Toast City Diner replaced Project Brunch at this location, so as a fan of brunch, I had to check it out! On Mother's Day Sunday, there were several groups waiting outside to be seated, so my boyfriend and I were concerned about the wait. Fortunately, they took our name and number down and ~10 minutes later, I received a text and we were seated! The inside is cutely decorated and nice and bright! The menu has many options and there was even a Mother's Day specials menu. We got the avocado toast and chicken sandwich with turkey bacon on the side and sweet potato fries substituted for normal fries. The food came out relatively quickly and everything looked delicious! The bread of the avocado toast was very thick and I could tell that fresh avocado was used and smashed for the toast! I do wish that the bread itself was toasted more and maybe with butter, but it was still delicious! The side salad was also refreshing but could use some dressing. Overall, I was happy with my avocado toast! My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken sandwich and noted that the chicken was juicy and the fries were good as well. We enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back! We noticed that a nearby mom received a complimentary compact mirror from the staff in celebration of mother's day which was cute.

Signature Pancake Flight and pork roll

I ordered a pancake flight and the truth is most of it I wasn't a fan of. The red velvet had little flavor. The lemon poppy somehow ended up with 2 pieces of onion cooked into it by mistake. BUT the carrot cake pancake was incredible. Plus I ordered a side of pork roll that was very good too. Iced late was solid. Lots of milk choices. Our server was attentive and kind. Would come back again but probably not order pancakes.

Completely renovated, it is missing the niche charm of its predecessor, Project Brunch. Feels like a restaurant themed as a diner, and not a real diner. Food was average and with so many breakfast locations in this town, they need to step it up...Project Brunch was better.

We had a great experience at Toast. Everything was delicious, served hot, and came out quickly. We ordered the Nutella French toast, the bananas foster French toast and an egg white omelette. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their meals (and their lattes as well). The menu has a lot of nice choices, both sweet and savory. The staff was friendly and attentive and the interior was bright and modern. We will definitely be back.

There isn't any place to sit and sip your drinks, but instead of sitting, you can take your latte for a stroll around the shop. This seems like a great place for stocking stuffers and gifts. They have lotions, soaps, candles, holiday decor pieces, ornaments. All things that everyone loves to receive and rarely buys for themselves. If you are in more of a window shopping mood, they have samples of everything. At the cafe counter (also where you can pay) you'll find a small but mighty coffee menu. I got the gingerbread latte and loved every sip. My coworker got the latte with hot honey in it and said it had just the right kick. For a place that doesn't seem to specialize in coffees, they did make two wonderful drinks for us. There was plenty of parking and it looks like they do quite a bit outside (maybe on the weekends?) with the tree lot and farm in the back.

There were plenty of spots on a Tuesday afternoon around 3pm. When you enter you go through these giant barn doors. The inside is a lot of fall decor with candles, bakeware, kitchen towels, all the cute home stuff that makes your house extra cozy for fall. They also have a little coffee area too but I had already gotten coffee earlier so I didn't order any. Although everything was super cute, it was also a bit pricey so I unfortunately only bought some lotion which was really moisturizing and smelled AMAZING. Something I really liked is that you could sample most of the lotions and sprays so although I didn't buy them, I could at least try them out. If you go through the back exit, you enter the farm portion with a little pumpkin patch, donkeys, and sheep! There were a few places for "photo ops" too. If you walk further there's actually a little garden/flower field which was really nice to walk around and take pictures. You couldn't pick any flowers at this time but maybe we could've earlier in the season in the summer. This was a cute little farm that I would come back to for another season to see how they change it up. Although some of the items were pricier I would come back to get something as a gift. I think there's a lot of nice stuff to give for a housewarming and it's good quality too.

I went with 45 women from our development. When you walk into the restaurant, we were greeted warmly from the owner, Katie. Her mom does the cooking and she has a baker who gets there at 5:00 am to start making the breads. Many of their counter displayed - jarred items come directly from their home country. We started out with a savory, fresh salad of tomatoes, cucumbers and thinly sliced red onions. We were served, their classic cheese pie, Khink Ali, which is like a wonton, with 3 types of ground meat, eggplant, beef stew, chicken kabobs and a most delicious dessert. They make everything fresh for you. Nothing was prepared ahead of time. While we were there, Katie, had a video of her country and was explaining pieces of it. This was very intimate, since we took up the whole restaurant. While we were there, people did come in to purchase bread, which is what they are known for, along with other items to take out Well worth stopping in, look around and have a snack of something
