My first time here and it is a cute little diner, clean and not too noisy. I ordered the California scramble and my husband ordered Eggs your way. When our order came out both dishes were cold. We were disappointed however, when we told the server he apologized and took them back. Our new dishes came out quickly and the food was hot. Our server again was apologetic and friendly. I had high hopes for a new breakfast place and initially was very disappointed however the quick, friendly and accommodating server really saved the experience. For that reason we will return. Toast City Diner replaced Project Brunch at this location, so as a fan of brunch, I had to check it out! On Mother's Day Sunday, there were several groups waiting outside to be seated, so my boyfriend and I were concerned about the wait. Fortunately, they took our name and number down and ~10 minutes later, I received a text and we were seated! The inside is cutely decorated and nice and bright! The menu has many options and there was even a Mother's Day specials menu. We got the avocado toast and chicken sandwich with turkey bacon on the side and sweet potato fries substituted for normal fries. The food came out relatively quickly and everything looked delicious! The bread of the avocado toast was very thick and I could tell that fresh avocado was used and smashed for the toast! I do wish that the bread itself was toasted more and maybe with butter, but it was still delicious! The side salad was also refreshing but could use some dressing. Overall, I was happy with my avocado toast! My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken sandwich and noted that the chicken was juicy and the fries were good as well. We enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back! We noticed that a nearby mom received a complimentary compact mirror from the staff in celebration of mother's day which was cute. read more

I ordered a pancake flight and the truth is most of it I wasn't a fan of. The red velvet had little flavor. The lemon poppy somehow ended up with 2 pieces of onion cooked into it by mistake. BUT the carrot cake pancake was incredible. Plus I ordered a side of pork roll that was very good too. Iced late was solid. Lots of milk choices. Our server was attentive and kind. We had a great experience at Toast. Everything was delicious, served hot, and came out quickly. We ordered the Nutella French toast, the bananas foster French toast and an egg white omelette. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their meals (and their lattes as well). The menu has a lot of nice choices, both sweet and savory. We stopped by in a Sunday. The service was poor. Had to ask several times (15 minutes) to finally get the coffee (with no spoon). Part of the food (children's order of salmon) was delivered 20 minutes after the first part! I am not a happy customer. read more

At least one order came out cold and wrong. There were no utensils on the table, brought at order raking or even when food came out. Had to ask.. Coffee is $4 a pop and we were never asked about a refill. For a seemly upper level breakfast/lunch facility, local diners do better. At a minimum. Poor training Disappointed! read more

Arrived at noon & was seated. The waiter was friendly. Took our order promptly but got it mixed up. He had to call the manager to correct it. One order came out & the other order did not. It 20 minutes to get the 2nd order. Finally it got straightened out. The manager deducted the 2nd order from our bill which was the right thing to do. Just ok. Service was friendly, but no on checked on us. The sausage and pepper omelette that was ordered had absolutely no sausage....very disappointing. The coffee is way too strong for me. I had to keep adding milk. By the way, the dinnerware receptacles were way too small giving a cheap appearance for the syrup, butter and milk. I had to ask to be re-filled 3 times (but not to the waitress, since she was not returning... had to ask the bus-boy). Waffle was good, but $11 is a bit high. it's $8 at most of the local eateries. Came for breakfast at 10am. The place looks great and the staff is very nice, always smile and attentive. The place is nice and airy. Food was just ok. found it to be bland The potatoes were over done and the grilled Cinnabon was too hard. All in all I might return to try a burger. Hopefully that will have more flavor. read more

I really liked that this breakfast spot had a lot of room! Most places are very crowded but I had a great time. Staff was very friendly and I ordered the short stack with a side of blueberries. The coffee was good as well! I do think it was a little on the pricer side I think I spent about $45 with tax and tip for a table of two. read more

The place is a nice space , OJ was fresh and the French press was good. The service was terrible and my friend found a hair on both her OJ and on her plate when it finally arrived. The waitress rarely came by for anything, seemed annoyed and unfriendly. The food took a very long time to come out of the kitchen but it was all very tasty. The manager did come by once to apologize for the hair in the food and juice but overall we won't be back here. read more
