So they asked for docs already provided (why ask for docs if asbestos was an issue?), did nothing for 3 weeks, said I refused asbestos testing, which wasn't true, and that I would've agreed to do the testing had I been informed, Janny's response was judgmental and rude. And the overall communication--or lack thereof--I received from Janny was misinformed, argumentative, accusatory, and rude. However, the administrator working on our job was unprofessional and unhelpful. I informed the company three times that our flood insurance was going through FEMA (apparently all separate flood insurance does this) and not through our homeowners insurance. I later learned that because our floors were delayed in being removed, FEMA rejected paying for the drying equipment for the days the wet floors were still in place so we had to eat that cost. When I called and spoke to the administrator and asked for an ETA on the final invoice to submit to FEMA, she was completely annoyed and refused to give even a ballpark answer that I could relay to our adjuster. She also informed me that she had never worked on a project that went through FEMA before which was alarming to hear. If you have a flood and it's going through homeowners or you're paying out of pocket, using Servpro will be fine. For anything going through flood insurance/FEMA, find someone else!
