Joel, Alex and Brandon were outstanding!! We went from an apartment to a house in less than 3 hours from start to finish. The took their time wrapping tv and furniture carefully so nothing was damaged but at the same time they work so efficiently. From the time the walked in to the time the left they were moving constantly. Asking questions making sure everything was packed and loaded with care. He arrived right on time with his brother, and they handled everything very professionally. They were also extremely friendly which was a nice plus. First, as "professionals" they should walk through the enter house they're loading from with the owners to ensure they've collected and loaded all items. After my house cleaning crew completed their work they sent pictures of everything left behind and one room that the movers removed and loaded furniture from had my stand-alone freezer left behind. How they managed to move items from the room and forgot the freezer is beyond me. They should always ensure they've cleared a room before moving on to a new room. After realizing it was left behind, I called them to let them know and their reasoning for wanting to charge me $140/hr plus travel time is because they claim that we ( there was multiple people helping them move) told them the house was clear. They would not go back and collect the freezer after I paid the over $1500 and after tipping them both $100. A true professional company would have understood and gone back to collect and deliver the item. Instead, I had to have my friends and family go out of their way to help me move my freezer. Very unprofessional of Goldline to not even offer any help or partial refund or something, anything. I also noticed the next day, my bedroom side table had a medium size chip of wood torn off the side and my master bedroom wall by the entrance had a crack and dent. One I know for sure was not there as it's a new home and I would have seen that during the house inspection and it was this company that moved my bedroom furniture in the room. The owner. Andy, was friendly, but unless he likes receiving low rates about his business, I suggest he put his customers needs first, before, during and after a move. Their Customer Care and Delivery Teams were fantastic, including Aaron (who picked up my Zippy Shell container at the destination). I have moved items from the West Coast to East Coast and back several times over the years. It is not easy moving a lot of items over a long distance without paying an arm and a leg or losing/breaking things. Zippy Shell gave me confidence that my belongings would arrive without issue (and it did). I initially signed a contract with a full, comprehensive moving service, but after hours wasted on multiple phone calls/no-shows, I ended up cancelling the service due to lack of reliability and trustworthiness from their staff. In contrast, the Zippy Shell agent on the phone worked to make the service perfect for what were important to me: budget and reliability. I wish I could remember the name of the first person that helped me at Zippy Shell in the Customer Care team. He was fantastic and gave me the confidence to go sign the agreement that day even though it was not the cheapest quote I had received. There are always little hiccups (e.g. the Zippy Shell and Pack Rat systems don't seem to play nice), but Zippy Shell has been fantastic overall! There was a team of 6 that showed up for the job. They were nice and professional. As a matters of fact, their team lead pointed out the crack in the TV after it got moved to our new residence. He assured us we would be able to submit a claim and it would be taken care of. The claim was ultimately denied and they said it's because we can't prove the TV wasn't like that prior to the move. So basically when we did the initial walk through, not a single one of the 6 men noted the crack?Interesting. Read other reviews and do your own research before using this company. It looks like this has happened to a few people.
