We kept it simple and did an axle back exhaust with Borla mufflers, which seemed to be easy for them. To bad you don't see the bottom of the car because I think it looks badass. With the raise of catalytic converter thieves I looked at many options online and did not like what I found. I called up The Muffler Man and talked Lee and got a price and a estimated completion time. When I arrived Lee took my truck into the bay and his son knocked out the job under 25 mins. These clowns quoted me $250 for a muffler delete. LMAO! I had them take out my resonator already for $75! Which is pricey for cutting a small resonator that my Giulia had. I only did it cause I was already there with my friend which by the way they charged $250-$300 for a muffler delete!! FOR A HONDA CIVIC!! The old man kept trying to justify that their work is good ergo why they charge that much. He smelled $$ on me right when he saw that I drive a AR Giulia. If you're young and drive a nice car don't even bother going to this place they'll just rip you of and convince you that their welding justifies the price. Btw I checked their "expert welding skills" when my car was lifted for an oil change. Doesn't look any different from this other place I went to to take out my muffler. This shop will weld stainless steel rods to your exhaust system to help dissuade catalytic converter theft. We were referred here by our main mechanic, who advises that most of the aftermarket plates/cables/whatever that people buy to protect catalytic converters are generally ineffective. The job is not expensive and in comparison to replacing stolen converters, the cost is small and reasonable. Thieves can steal your catalytic converters in minutes-- they got the ones off our SUV in three minutes, for example-- and the welded stainless steel rods are not foolproof, but they take a long time to cut, and thus dissuade the thieves, who often want to move as quickly as possible. Family-owned business here, just the kind I like to support when possible. read more

I've been going to Muffler Man for almost 10 years for various cars and projects...04 Fozzy XT, S2000, M3, and my X5. From simple cuts and welds to full exhaust builds. Lee and Jake are always friendly and most importantly quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Recently had them install some resonators on my X5 in place of a muffler delete, opted to go stainless steel pipes. They offer non stainless for those who want that. Always meticulous with tip alignment and welds are cleanest around and I've been to several shops to witness firsthand how sloppy others are. Appreciate that they always do purposeful, non restrictive bends...that's how you know the level of care and thought that goes into the build. Best to make an appointment as they are busy for good reason. These pics were taken during and right after the install, but will tell you after drive time they look better than OEM IMO. So happy I found The Muffler Man! I had an exhaust leak on my 2010 Camaro SS and every place I called did not want to work or even look at my car because the leak was from the header and catalytic converter connection, which was causing a CEL. I called The Muffler Man and Lee was genuinely interested in my concern and asked me to come over a few days later. When I got there, I was immediately greeted by the staff and was told that they would get started right away. Not even an hour later, I was called by Lee and he verified the leak and let me know that they would have all the work completed within the hour. My Accord wasn't passing smog bc the tech said it was not the correct catalytic converter (original was stolen & a new one installed).
