My left exhaust tip was off (it was pointing to the left a bit) and I wanted to switch out my exhaust tips all together to burnt tips (that I provided). The shop was able to straighten out my tip to make them both even and switched them out the burnt tips. I'm overall satisfied w/ the service since they got the job done and the cost seemed fair enough. It took less than 2 hours. read more

You get what you pay for. Lee and Jake are good dudes that do quality work with quality materials in a timely fashion. What more can you ask for? My '70 Chevelle badly needed a new exhaust system. I recently put in a 540 cu in motor that I wanted to have dyno tuned. The former exhaust system had 1 3/4 in Hedman headers and 2 1/2 in pipes to Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers. That system was okay for the 454 cu in motor that was replaced but with the new bigger motor, I knew I needed at least 2 in headers and 3 in pipes. I had a discussion with Lee and he confirmed. I had a budget in mind but it was blown out of the water when I saw a video and heard my friends new Muffler Man mufflers that Jake fabbed for him. I decided to go all in and had Jake fab some custom 2in 304 stainless long tube headers, Jake's custom mufflers and 3in 304 stainless pipes, x-pipe and 3in oval tips. HOLY CRAP, IT'S THE SH_T!! Looks fantastic, sounds super aggressive. You heard of the VENOM "Neighborhater" mufflers? Jake should name these "F_CKMYNEIGHBORS". Now if they only dyno-tuned too, I'd be set. Thanks Jake and Lee!! Just picked up my 2014 Premium Model Mustang GT from The Muffler Man after having them fabricate and install a custom catback exhaust. All I can say is, "Wow!!!" Lee and Jake are Master's of their Craft. I could have ended up purchasing an aftermarket exhaust system for my Stang, but I wanted to do something different. I had told Lee that I wanted to delete any restriction in the exhaust from the catalytic converters back and Lee told me, "No problem, we will take care if it." They fabricated a custom x-pipe and installed Magnaflow Muffler's with 4" stainless steel exhaust tips. Their welds are top notch and they even apply a protective coating to each weld. I am, "OCD" when it comes to my vehicles and these guys couldn't have done a better job. The exhaust is lined up perfectly and the exhaust tips are evenly spaced. So, with that said. By far the best work I've ever had done. I've done a few custom exhaust over the years. Having offroad trucks, a custom exhaust is sometimes the only option. The work I've gotten was not the best though crappy welds or restrictive bends, or cheap materials. Not here. Work it too notch. All stainless steel, great looking welds, proper bends that don't restrict flow, and he made it all custom in front of our eyes and in half the time all other shops take. On July 28, I had them install a new Greddy Sp2 muffler in my 91 CRX I've been restoring. The exhaust for the CRX had been discontinued long ago but the Civic Hatchback exhaust was known to work with some modifications. I called them up and they said no problem. When I arrived they asked me whether I wanted it TIG welded or not. It's not a show car so I appreciated they asked about the option. The price was very fair and the service was outstanding! I will definitely be back. Compared to my old exhaust shop, Muffler Man is THE place to go! They don't do motorcycle exhausts especially not 2-strokes but I thought I'd ask anyways. Awesome shop and quality work! I purschased a QTP Cutout Pipe for my EVO X so I needed it welded to my testpipe. A friend of mine had some work done here and she was happy with it so I gave them a shot. I was a walk in customer and they had my car on the rack 10min later. I think I got lucky though because it had rained that day so they probably weren't that busy luckily. Upon having them inspect my cutout and how it was going to fit they advised me it was going to have some clearance issues. I was pretty bummed to hear this but they said they could fabricate their own. I agreed to it and man was I blow away. Really clean work! I didn't know what to expect but they worked their magic. I wish I had consulted with them first before buying my cutout as I could have saved on the pipe and purschased only the motor haha but you live and learn. I'm just glad they were able to make it happen. As far as pricing goes; it was well worth it. I'm one of those guys that believes in, you get what you paid for. Overall, I was extremely glad I came here and they have a customer for life. I don't like just taking my car anywhere so you trust these guys. You won't be disappointed here. read more

The catalytic converter on my daughters car was stolen for the second time. You can imagine my frustration, the last time the mechanic had the car for 2 weeks and charged thousands of dollars. Tried going to work at 7am with my Honda Element and definitely did not expect the roar of a NASCAR engine. It was so loud, the surrounding cars parked next to me had their alarms blaring. My wife's '06 Accord had her catalytic converter stolen. Each situation is different, but the repair (with aftermarket parts) + anti-theft welded bars were HUNDREDS less than what our insurance company paid us. Lee knew how much the insurance gave us to repair the damage, yet he did not take advantage of that!! That is INTEGRITY!! We dropped off car first thing in morning, and It was done by mid-afternoon! i have tried several other shops and most did not work with stainless steel. Most wanted to give me aluminized pipes and gave me BS about how much more they have to charge me for handling SS pipes. I recently had the muffler man put on a Carb approved catalytic converter on my '99 4Runner. When I had the vehicle tested after the install the smog place wouldn't pass it due to the wrong part number being installed. I called the Muffler man back and he explained that the part numbers provided by the state were wrong and that he would petition someone at the California Air Resource board to help get my vehicle passed and to get the policy and part number updated. While the issue was caused by the state regulations, these guys went above and beyond in advocating and helping me get this issue resolved.
