$4.95 worth of onion rings.... Very good but 6 small rings for $4.95??
    Bill H.

Food was great, had triple smash, amazing. Onion rings were very tasty but they must have been out of onions, produce truck showed up and heard them saying someone was gone to get produce already. Instead of not selling them, must have just charged me for a full order and gave me what scraps were left... Service was good otherwise, friendly young lady took my order. Quiet atmosphere, not much going on for a dreary Friday.

tonight I ordered the breaded tenderloin with all the normal toppings and a second bun but I received a tenderloin with cheese ..., only cheese. And no second bun. when I called the store they informed me that they shut down the ordering because they had too many orders and they wouldn't make it right. she told me I'd have to eat somewhere else. she also advised me to call DoorDash and tell them my entire order was wrong and they would refund all my money. I also ordered onion rings and they had way to much greasy tempura coating. honestly one of the worst orders I've ever received from the mug.

Stopped here for a quick dinner while driving through the area. So worth it! Fresh homemade food, fun outdoor heated patio, and wonderful staff members who were super helpful. First time here and I was very impressed! The food was made fresh upon ordering. Locally sourced ingredients were used. Homemade ice cream too...yum! Get the ice cream in a handmade shake! Excellent consistency, not too thick or thin. Really enjoyed my burger, it wasn't over cooked. Delicious! My spouse ate the breaded tenderloin and said it was amazing. Excellent ratio of tenderloin to breading. Highly recommend the fresh cut garlic fries too. Will eat here again the next time I drive through the area.

You've got to try their root beer! It's definitely in the top three I've ever tasted. I also got the jalapeño poppers. They were very very tasty. They came with ranch. Be advised they do charge $.50 for the ranch. This was not a problem. It's just it wasn't mentioned when I ordered. What if I didn't like ranch? The mac & cheese was also very tasty. Creamy and full of cheese. I will say for a side order it was extremely small. I would rather pay a couple dollars more and have a larger size. It's like three or four bites. You pull up to a menu board and flip the switch to have someone come and take your order. The young lady that came to take our order was a five-star waitress. She was super sweet and very friendly and helpful. Did I mention how great their root beer is seriously folks, you've got to go try it!

We really enjoyed a tasty snack at The Mug on our recent trip to Greenfield. We shared a delicious burger, garlic fries and a rootbeer. The burger was phenomenal, thr garlic fries were good and very fresh, but a lot of garlic! Loved the atmosphere!

Loved the atmosphere and history of the place, however I was less than impressed by the food. It was decent but not as good as I was hoping or expecting it to be. Fries were soggy. Onion rings were the best with what we ordered and 'draft' root beer. All high school kids running the place and one girl was doing most of the work and keeping busy while the boys were chatting and making the food. Ice cream flavors were limited and not very good. Overall, sad that this wasn't as good as I'd hope it would be, but will be back later on to try again!

Stopped here while visiting a friend in the area. I ordered the tenderloin. I also had a root beer float. Both items were tasty and the service was good. You can drive up and order from your car or you can order inside and eat at one of the picnic tables.

This is the quintessential Greenfield restaurant. Do yourself a favor and order the tenderloin 'Mug style' (cabbage and pickled jalapenos).

The hot dog was really good, but the dog itself was smaller than most other gourmet hotdog places that I have been. The dog was loaded with toppings too. If I had to pick a favorite between the two dogs, I would go with the Judge. They were both flavorful and tasty, but the Judge just edged out the Court Street. RIGHT?!?!), Chicago dogs. But there's a bunch of others with different kinds of toppings too that can make the decision process a bit tough!! I went with a chili cheese dog (yup, I was basic tonight) and a side of the Fawncy fries. Fawncy fries are crinkle cut fries (guess they don't make their own or source them fresh sadly) topped with cheese and onions and bacon and truffle sauce. So when you read this and see "truffle sauce", think Truffle sauce which is a line of truffle infused hot sauces. It's not very heavy on the truffle at all. I got my food to go, so I didn't stay in long to enjoy the decor but it was cutely decorated with some TVs on the wall with the sound turned all the way down. Also a couple of the TVs were on satellite/cable version of dead air - just a blank screen with a title splash. Anyway you don't care about the TVs you care about the food so - nice warm soft bun on the chili cheese dog and it had a copious amount of toppings on board. Rather tasty as well. The fries also had a good amount of toppings and the truffle sauce was good with it / earthy paired with earthy of the potatoes was good.
