Overall I had a good time. I attending on the opening for the Broadway series. We sat near the stage and it was pretty good. The artist did a great job with the songs and getting a lot in during the time frame. The tables are big enough for 4 to share, there really isn't a bad seat in the house so if you do the general admission ticket you are good. You have the option to either buy a bottle of a glass of wine for your table. Overall it was a good time and will go back for the Motown show. There is a parking garage across the street and it is $8 to park. If you get there early you can park in front of the stores adjacent to the Music Box or on the street a block or so away.

The Music Box Theater is one of the best things going on in Houston. I moved to Houston a year ago and have not missed any of the shows they put on. They are a group of local musicians and artists who will have you laughing, singing and the occasional tear from their shows. Their Songs from Silver Screen was incredible. The band is always amazing. The performers are always so personal that make you feel part of the show. Do yourself a favor and go see them. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful cabaret of five singers performing theme shows in an intimate setting of what used to be the Radio Music Theate a few years ago. These folks gel together, and their enthusiasm will brighten your evening. You can't beat the price for live, family-friendly entertainment in Houston. I can't believe it took me so long after Radio Music Theater left to see a show by the new group, but I'm a big fan of Music Box now. If you've never been here before, you're in for a treat. It's not slick or over-produced. Just performers who love belting out tunes with a few surprises (did they really remix a version of "Some Nights" by fun.? Yes they did, and it was fabulous) and classics, depending on the show's theme. If you don't have a reserved seat (honestly, all of the seats are perfectly fine), arrive early. I've never had a problem with parking, but...do the smart thing and check their website for the best places to park (some businesses nearby allow people to use their lots). There are plenty of wine and beverage options for everyone, and light nibbles, too. Most shows are around an hour and a half to two hours with an intermission.

The Music Box Theater is BACK! Well, not that they ever left with their quarantunes and their wonderful virtual performances, but they are "in the box" again. By watching the audience, I could tell that I wasn't the only one thrilled to be there! There was excitement in the air. From the first call of "The Circle of Life" to the final mash-up, they were in high spirits for this 10th Anniversary celebration. As usual, it was the feeling of being with family, watching their good-natured teasing and antics. I think they were having as much fun as we were, if not more. It was quite the celebration. And the music...oh, my! A little bit of Broadway, a lot of pop, some c & w and even heavy metal...this show had it all! Luke and Rebekah masterfully brought back some Judy Garland classics followed beautifully by Kristina and "Both Sides Now." Cay did Dolly Parton proud with her version of "Jolene" while Brad skillfully evoked Freddie Mercury at one point. The musicians were amazing, as usual, and the on-stage guitar accompaniment to Cole Porter's "Night and Day" was powerful. The group ended Act One with "Staying Alive" which they clearly have. While I assume there will be some financial catching up to do (and we can help with that), spirit wise and ability wise they made it through the storm stronger than ever. This is a show you won't want to miss! (I was so enthralled with the show that I forgot to take photos. I have used their official ones.)

What a fun show and the artists were wonderful - I loved the ad lib of the fly being open! The music from the band and the voices of the artists take you back to the 70's and the Groovy state of mind for sure! I highly recommend to make time to take is this local treasure!

Enjoyed my night out - a good date night or friends night out. The performers and musicians are very talented and chose engaging songs. There is a lot of great restaurants nearby as well. There are decent wine options at the theater. The bathrooms are clean. There was a LOT of singing and spontaneous choreography. I liked their vamping between numbers.

The restaurant seems to be run by untrained staff that made our experience much worse than need be. Everyone was nice but our dinner came out before we had really started our appetizers, and they brought out our dessert in the middle of us eating dinner. We asked for basics like cups for our water, ice and serving utensils and had to ask multiple times to get any of it. Nobody ever cleared our finished plates so we ended up just moving everything from all 3 courses to one end of the table. They messed up our drink order and just left the wrong ones on our table (and on our bill). The food was good but everything (no matter what you order), tastes like liquid smoke. I do not see us going back given how many better run options there are in Houston but glad we gave it a try.

My friend's band, Zenjii, had a live performance there. A power outage befell the establishment (thanks for nothing, Centerpoint!) so the show was switched from inside to the patio. I'll say that the patio is a bit on the gritty side but has a really cool, summertime-in-the-backyard kind of vibe. I was drawn to the numerous street signs and license plates that were strewn throughout. Thankfully, the weather was cooperative enough. I did have a chance to check the interior. While virtually pitch black, I was able to see some pinball machines and a pool table. On a normal day, the place is likely buzzing. If the patio presented itself as a place for tailgates and barbecues then the inside was a badass combination of dive bar, honky tonk, and punk rock club. And because I don't drink alcohol, I settled on a Mexican Coke, which was a decent $3.25. When I took my first sip, I was taken back to the summers of my youth when I went home to the Philippines after the school year. The opening of the bottle left a bit of a weird taste in my mouth so I decided to pour the rest in a complimentary plastic cup. And Coke - no matter what flavor it is - tastes better in a plastic cup, but that's a different story for another day. As for the staff, everyone from Becca to Jeremy is pretty cool. Even those who served me the Coke were down-to-Earth. They didn't ask me for ID. *Laughs* But seriously, Eighteen Ten Ojeman is a great place to pull up to in Spring Branch after you have some legit Korean BBQ, which the area is known for.

I did without the sides. The crawfish was very good, flavorful, and they were decent sizes. I don't do spicy food and the crawfish wasn't too spicy. I definitely appreciated that. I usually don't care for Cajun flavor, but these were really good. The whole setup over there is really nice. Nice vibe and atmosphere. There is an area for sand volleyball and a place where kids can play. The process of getting the crawfish, they really have a good system. You get a band and a to go box. They have places where you can sit, buckets, paper towels, and extra seasonings if you would like to add more. They open up at 1pm. I suggest you get there early if you want a seat and he does run out before close time. However, I did get my money's worth. My only take away is that they should let you know not to throw your to go box away. You use the same box to get the crawfish. As a newcomer, I didn't know that and almost threw mine away. I was with my friend who told me that I am suppose to keep it. Overall, I had a great experience and I will be back. This is a great place for families or friends to meet and enjoy each other's time. Oh, there also is another vendor there who sales ice cream. I tried that and it was so good. Sorry, I can't remember the name.

They managed to keep the same relaxed neighborhood vibe people love while giving it a much more modern, polished, and upscale feel. The outdoor seating especially feels elevated now and makes for the perfect Houston brunch spot or night out. One of the best parts about NextDoor is that it's connected to Hungry's, which means you get full access to their menu while enjoying the lounge atmosphere. Being able to order everything from cocktails and appetizers to full meals while at a bar is a game changer. The food is consistently good, the drinks are strong (especially the frozen options) well-made, and everything comes out quickly. What keeps me coming back year after year is the consistency. The staff has always been welcoming and attentive, the crowd is chill, and it never feels overly pretentious or chaotic. It's one of those rare spots that works for everything, whether it's happy hour after work, date night, catching up with friends over drinks on the patio or a solo adventure. Love seeing a longtime Houston favorite continue to evolve while still delivering the same great experience that's kept me coming back for years. Definitely one of my go-to spots on Memorial Drive. My only suggestion is to tell the younger staff members to be conscious of their conversations while guest are dining nearby. I love people watching but I heard a lot of things.
