I ordered the Thai chili chicken, which was honestly really good. We also shared the guacamole, and one of my friends got the white chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert. Everything we ordered was worth it, and we had a handful of drinks while watching the match. No specials on the weekend but happy hour M-F 3-6 My only real complaint was the Texas summer heat. The patio fans did essentially nothing when it's 100° outside, so while the outdoor setup was great, it would be much more enjoyable in the fall or on a cooler evening. The green beans were so crunchy they might as well have been fresh-picked and the sauce over the snow peas was so tasteless, Ranch dressing would have been a huge improvement. The drinks took quite a while to arrive, and when they did, they were noticeably watered down. I politely mentioned it to our server, who quickly took them back and brought replacements, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the second round was nearly identical to the first. When I brought it up again, instead of acknowledging the feedback, the server responded by saying it was "just not a sugary drink." That completely missed the point. I wasn't expecting a sweet cocktail--I was pointing out that the drinks tasted diluted and poorly made. What bothered me most wasn't the drinks themselves, but how the feedback was handled. I wasn't looking for free drinks or trying to be difficult. I was simply offering honest feedback, and it felt like my opinion was being dismissed rather than heard. Unfortunately, the food didn't redeem the experience. We ordered several dishes to get a good sense of the menu, and most were overwhelmingly salty. The salt overpowered any other flavors to the point that we couldn't finish some of the dishes. The sushi was the best thing we had, but even that lacked the presentation and quality I would expect at this price point. To be fair, the manager did remove the drinks from our bill as a courtesy, and I appreciate that gesture. However, by that point the damage had already been done. A resolution is only effective when guests feel heard and respected throughout the process. Instead, I felt like I had to defend my opinion and justify my feedback before anyone took it seriously. The vibe is upscale and most patrons were dressed appropriately, however there was a table of patrons nearby who had on t-shirts and shorts. Maybe they didn't enforce the dress code that night because it was a slow evening. For my beverage, I ordered the Fleur-de-lis Martini. It was a grapefruit martini and it was good. It came with a small carafe on ice so that the glass could be topped off. My friend had a mocktail called Lyre's Pineapple Margarita which she enjoyed. 1st Course: Deviled Eggs - I love deviled eggs, but these fell short. The yolk was dry and bland. Ironically, the plate was garnished with paprika. The eggs could have used some of the paprika and some other seasonings to kick it up a notch. The yolk needed more mayo or cream because it was dry and crumbly. 2nd Course: Brasserie Chicken - I enjoyed this entree. It was panko crusted chicken with lemon caper sauce. The chicken was flavorful. I also enjoyed the mashed potatoes and broccoli that accompanied the dish. The portion was much larger than my friend's 5 oz. Filet Mignon. I had plenty for leftovers the following day. 3rd Course: Carrot Cake - It was served warm and was very delicious! The icing was sweet and the cake was moist.
