I went back in May to get gel nailpolish on my nails for my vacation. I did gel on both my hands and feet, their work was super rushed, their work quality isn't the same as it used to be. My nails didn't look great or last long. I went back to remove the gel and my nails looked horrible after the removal. They removed a lot of my natural nails. I won't go back as the service quality isn't the same as it used to be in 2019.

It's Mother's Day and they were able to get us in right away. No waiting at all. The service was efficient and fast. The place itself is clean and follows the COVID-19 protocols. My daughter and I are satisfied with the quick service, as well as the quality of work. The only thing that I didn't quite get us their check in free gift was not honored. The technician said that they are not doing any of it. That's a little disappointing. Update: When I was ready to pay, she told me that since the Yelp check-in offer is no longer valid, the owner gave me a discount for the service. As a customer, I appreciated the gesture.

I come here every four weeks to get my nails done. They are the kindest and so welcoming. Every time I came in, they accommodated all my needs, and they took their time to learn about myself. The work that they produce is gorgeous and clean. It always meets my standards. I never leave the salon without a smile on my face.

This is my favorite nail spot because the staff actually seems to care, it's rarely crowded, has a calm relaxing atmosphere with game show network on all the time, feels homey and they do a great job with suggestions on nails, color, shape, etc. I only get gel manicures and pedicures though. The pedicure chairs are new too which means no greasy hand controls.

I just got my nails done with Dana! She was so professional and such a perfectionist. She made my nails exactly the way I wanted them too. I did the powder nails and showed her a picture and she did them exactly like the picture. First time I've gotten my nails done and they have actually listened to what I want. Loved her. Will refer people to her and will for sure be back.

Dazzle dry!!! This is what drew me to The Nail Affair! Fast drying: check! It just air dries~ Long lasting like gel: check! Easier to remove than gel: check! Vegan: check! Lots of color selections: check! Thought it would be fun to have a nail affair and I couldn't be happier! The customer service and convenience is awesome! Their online booking system is super simple to use although I had a little hiccup. I had to call after I booked online, because I forgot to add on the dazzle dry and nail design. I received a call back in less than 15 minutes. Yay! The reservation system also gives you reminders and you get an e-receipt. Yes on going green! The receptionist is super nice and when I arrived, she offered me a beverage which is a nice customer service touch. Thank you :) I was promptly treated to my nail affair by Britnie. She was super nice and fun to talk with! I appreciated that at each phase of the nail affair, she asked if I was satisfied with the work. I really appreciate that added attention!! Also, she researched design pics for the lil' peach design I wanted prior to my appt. which was super attentive of her!! I learned that the owner used to work at the salon at Caesar's. Dazzle Dry is only carried here and at Caesar's. If you haven't tried it, try it!! An awesome alternative to gel manicures!

For all that is whole and mighty, do not come here for any services. I came in for a mani refill and gel pedicure with an appointment. Everything seemed fine at first, but then the man working on my nails turned it into a complete disaster. The gel polish was misshapen, uneven, and missing spots--no uniformity at all. In my 10 years of getting my nails done, I know when something is wrong. I tried explaining to him that this is not how gel polish is typically done, but he wasn't receptive. He even cut one of my toenails so short there was no extra nail left. What upset me the most was his dismissive attitude. Instead of acknowledging the issue, he said, "I'm not doing anything wrong; your nail is just like that." Another woman stepped in to help and asked how she could fix it. While I was calmly explaining, he began yelling and cussing at me. I am absolutely appalled by the horrible customer service--just as much as the poor quality of work. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

So the nail techs are really nice, the price is cheaper than the my normal nail tech, and they are VERY QUICK. The end result looks really good. HOWEVER, after I got my nails done they HURT a lot for a week. I think it's because she grinds down the nail a lot. After I removed the polish I realized how damaged my nails were. My nails look like shit right now and are healing from the damage. The nail bed itself has a huge dip in it from where it's grown to where she use the grinder on my nail. When I was watching her do it, it felt like she was doing it different and wrong but I chose to be passive and trust the process. Not good. read more

My husband and i have been going here for about a year now. I was so disappointed in our last service. We each did a mani pedi. His mani they finished in about 10 minutes, mine wasn't much longer. I always look forward to the massage on my hands arms, feet and calves, all they did was basically slap some lotion on. I remember when i used to get pedi's and they lasted almost an hour and a mani took 30-40 minutes. Our last visit for both services we were in and out in less than an hour. So disappointing. I loved the convenience, it was less than 2 miles away but i will drive a little further to get quality service. read more

The job got done but the extra stuff I paid for was done quickly. Also did not get a massage just a rub with lotion. I would come here to just get it done but if I'm looking to relax and get a good pedicure I wouldn't. read more

Really nice nail salon. Service is excellent. They offer different kinds of pedicures and manicures. I got a hot stone pedicure and was asked what flavor scrub I would like. Dani did my pedicure and she was super sweet and took her time. My pedicure was so relaxing. Nice massage and hot towels felt amazing. They offer a nail polish called Dazzle Dry that dries in 5 minutes that is exclusive to their salon. Nice to get a pedicure that doesn't smudge by the end of the day. I went in valentines day weekend and they offered chocolates and champagne. I'm pregnant so I passed on the champagne but they do offer water, coke, diet coke, and sprite. A man who I believe was the owner was doing a pedicure next to me and was very friendly in making conversation and thanked me for coming in. Thank you Nail Affair for your excellent service and amenities. I'll be a loyal customer from now on. read more

My mom recommended this salon. I went in they say me down right away. I needed the previous gel manicure removed. While my toes were getting done someone else was soaking off the gel. I felt relaxed and enjoyed my spa day. They didn't try to push me to get extra services which was great! Overall I had a great experience! Nails and toes were done perfectly!!! read more

Cute place, new owner apparently, and I like the options. Vegan nail polish, dries in 5 minutes and just $5 additional. I'm sure my nails were rushed. The paint job didn't come out the best. Some of my nails could if been filed better. I actually filed down my nails a little more while I was waiting for them to dry. My friend got the same polish and for some reason her nail polish job looks way batter. Madina did my mani and pedi. She was nice. Overall, I would try this place again if I had to but it wouldn't be my first option. read more

I've been getting my nails done (acrylic) for over 10 years now. I've always had issues with acrylic nails popping off because of the way my nail beds grow. (Apparently it's a thing - I've looked it up on google) I've been living in Vegas for a little over 2 years now and struggled finding a "nail place" that I could be loyal too. Thank goodness I finally found "my" nail place. Monroe does my nails and she's wonderful. She always pays attention to detail and takes her time when she does my nails. She always does a perfect job so I'm officially loyal to the nail affair now. Just a heads up... they're a bit on the pricey side ($55 for a full set) but imo it's worth the price because of the great quality and I don't have any issues with them. However, the only reason I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the pedicure I received. I ended up getting one of the more expensive pedicures ($50) and the girl who did my pedicure seemed lazy. (I think she was new there) It was only about 30 min long - even though it included a 15 min(?) leg rub/scrub....And the nail polish completely came off on 2 of my toes the next day. Used to be an unknown gem. Not much anymore. Got nails done Saturday and nail polish peeled by Sunday. Went back for a touch up and now Tuesday morning 4 nails are losing polish. Guess regular polish is cheap and you'll have to get gel for it to last not worth 55.00 mani-pedi. Will be going elsewhere today to get a new polish job. read more

Omg!! YES YES YES!!! Blew my mind !! So happy that Kevin(the manager) reached out to me personally.. with no hesitation he messaged me right away and set me up with an appointment. I was a little hesitant at first but decided I would give them another try.. I went to a different tech this time her name is Amanda! She is amazing! From the jump she made me feel welcome. Her ora was great and her personality was fun! Her and Monroe made my appointment even better.. I'm in love with my nails and I'm sooo glad the way they came out.. thank u Amanda! I have been coming here for years and have never left disappointed. There has been a change in ownership in the past few months and it is still the same great place it has always been. Ryan is the new owner and he does such a fantastic job with my gel manicures and pedicures. His quality of work, attention to detail and kind demeanor are second to none. I LOVE when he does my nails! All of the other ladies who work there are great too. I always feel like the customers are the priority and they are focused on doing a great job and making their customers happy. There are many nail salons much closer to my home, but I will drive out of my way for the care, attention to detail and friendliness at The Nail Affair. read more

He was getting a fade but we wanted to keep the mullet he has been trying to grow out for almost 2 years now. He cut the whole thing OFF! The fade looks great, so at least there's that..but the one thing my boy loved the most about his look is gone. I would have said something but what can you do, glue the hair back? It is turned up so high that you absolutely cannot have a conversation with anyone in there without screaming, which is something to keep in mind if you're looking to chat. We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

My barber Cesar moved to this store a few years back, and despite me moving to a house in the North West of the valley, I am still happy to make the drive here for his awesome and friendly service, and for the overall experience. I highly recommend him, so ask for him by name if you are booking or doing a walk in! The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.

This is my second time back and it was fantastic. I brought my friend in this time and we both got the ultimate pedicure. It was by far the best pedicure I've ever had. They did sugar scrub, some kind of heel treatment massage and paraffin treatment. I was so impressed that they don't dip your feet into the wax. It always grosses me out knowing someone else's feet had been in there. Instead, they wrapped your feet in a plastic bag with fresh wax in it and threw it out after the treatment. Huge plus for me because I'm a total germaphobe. Mia and Sam were the 2 girls working on us this time. They are super friendly, skillful and can carry an intelligent conversation. We had a great time and our pedicures look great. We will be back for gel manicure next time. Keep up the good work guys. read more

I enjoyed my pedi ...... buttttttt once it came to my nails being polished after I paid full price for my service my nail tech left n after she left she asked someone else to finish my service n which they upped my charge 30$ plus what Eva the nail tech charge mind you I already paid for my service with the first nail tech .....now I've been in the beauty industry for a while n Neva has someone been asked or even had to pay multiple tech for the same service ....once I brung my issue to their attention the one with tattoos on her fingers began to get nasty n so I don't recommend no one to go if so count your money and make sure your nails tech doesn't have to leave in the middle of your service ........so unprofessional read more

This place is awesome! It's brand spanking new and clean. People are super friendly. They actually talk to you. I went in without an appointment. They were slammed at the time. The girl at the front said the wait was going to be about 20 minutes. I was going to leave but there's a Starbucks in the same plaza so I decided to go grab a cup of coffee and wait. So happy I did. The guy, I think his name was Scott, did an amazing full set and the best pedicure I've ever had. He clean up my foot good and gave me an awesome massage. They also give loyalty stamp cards to earn credit for service which I have never heard of from a nail salon. I highly recommend this place! read more

I had a great time at The Nail Affair! Went in with a group of women for a bachelorette party weekend. We were all seated together and finished at about the same time. The nail technicians were incredibly friendly and professional, and spent a little extra time with our group to help us select colors from the regular and gel polish selections. The massage chairs are very comfortable, the room temperature was perfect (which reeeeeeally matters in Vegas), and the overall setting was a lot of fun. Recently moved here from California & was looking for a new nail tech; happened to stumble across this spot & i gotta say, this is my favorite shop now !! The selection is fantastic & also extensive. Don't let the prices scare you, you honestly get what you pay for & more with the customer service they give. I walked in here yesterday without an appointment and I only had an hour to spare so the young lady at the front desk required that I have 2 people work on me at the same time which I thought was great since I was in rush for time they did such a great job that I decided to make my next appointment in 2 weeks. I find it hard to believe anyone can give this salon anything less than 5 stars. Ive been coming to see Ryan for several months now and it just gets better every time!! My girlfriend goes here, and I got my first pedicure at this salon. I was very skeptical about people touching my feet, but the staff made me feel a little bit better. The vibe is awesome here, and so is the staff. Kevin is very funny, and attentive. I go back when my girl gets stuff done, and always feel included, even if I'm not getting anything done. I have found my new nail salon. This place is so clean and the people are super friendly. I have been to several nail salons in the area but have never had an experience like this. The technicians actually talk to you. My biggest compliment to them is they use disposable files. They also have this amazing quick dry polish that I will get every time from now on. At checkout, a woman (possibly the owner's wife) was incredibly rude and insisted there was no discount, even saying the man didn't know what he was talking about. What made it worse was that he didn't step in or clarify anything when I mentioned what he had told me. She seemed to resent even reasonable requests or questions, responding with visible impatience rather than professionalism. Even after I indicated that something hurt, she didn't slow down or adjust her technique. The manicure reflected the same lack of care. I had to insist on a separate nail file from the one she had just used on my toes - I must have broken "the bank" cost-wise based on the raised eyebrows and argument I got. The little plastic container housing the files and buffer and such was dirty, y'all! The entire appointment felt like I was just another stop on a conveyor belt rather than a valued customer. The most unprofessional moment came when she insisted I pay before the service was complete. I declined, explaining that I prefer to pay after the service was finished. She immediately became far more animated and engaged than she had been during the entire appointment--but only to argue about being paid in advance. It was the most interest she showed throughout the visit. Overall, the experience felt like minimalist service at premium prices. I expected attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Instead, I left feeling like an inconvenience. I won't be returning.

My daughter and I came in for services before she leaves for college. I received a gel manicure, and my daughter requested a basic pedicure with regular polish. What should have been a very straightforward service turned into nearly a two-hour ordeal. We checked in at 10:39 a.m. and did not leave until 12:24 p.m. Throughout the pedicure, the technician repeatedly got up and went back and forth to the counter, and unfortunately, the quality of the service reflected what appeared to be a lack of experience or training. My daughter's toenails were shaped unevenly with no consistency from one nail to the next. The polish application was even more concerning. The technician applied polish, then a top coat, and then proceeded to apply additional polish ON TOP of the top coat. I have never seen anything like it. There was polish left all over the skin surrounding her toes, while portions of the actual nails were not properly covered. The finished pedicure looked completely unprofessional. At that point, I became concerned about whether the technician was properly licensed and asked the front desk to see his license. They did not provide it. After waiting approximately five with no one returning to address my request, I went back to the station myself and photographed the license displayed there. This raised additional concerns for me because it appeared he may have been working at someone else's station rather than his own designated licensed area. The entire experience was incredibly disappointing, especially after being customers here for years. A basic polish change should not take nearly two hours, result in poorly shaped nails and polish all over someone's toes, and then be followed by difficulty verifying the technician's licensing information. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning. I strongly encourage management to review what happened, including the technician's training, licensing and station assignment. Customers should be able to trust that the person performing their service is properly trained, licensed and capable of providing the service they are paying for.
