I've been going to the same nail place for over 6 years now but I just moved to the area so came here. The best nail experience I've had in a really long time and definitely the best for this price!!! The salon is super clean and all of their stuff is pretty new. Most importantly my nails turned out amazing and they didn't kill my cuticles! Tina did my nails but I'm sure they're all amazing, at least by the looks of who was working the day I was in since there were lots of happy customers. I was recommended by a family friend to try this new nail shop out. At first, when you think of a new establishment, you think of how disorganized it will be when they first open, but not this place. I called to make a reservation with Delphine, since she was highly recommended by others. She did not disappoint. I came in for just a regular pedicure/manicure/callous removal and she took her time and didn't rush through like how other technicians do. She was nice and friendly. That was a plus! I've been coming here for over a year and yesterday was a horrible experience I left in tears. I went to get my nails done for my graduation and my nail tech that I usually see who is amazing is currently on a maternity leave so I was left with no choice but to see the other lady who does dip powder. I asked for something very specific and showed her a picture she told me she didn't have that color but she told me she had a light pink but when she finished my nails they were completely CLEAR and she didn't cut my nails to the same length so they looked horrible, when I told her I didn't like the color she ignored me. When I went to pay I told Delphine I didn't get what I wanted and I really didn't like my nails she really did not seem to care at all which made me really upset considering the fact I've never complained before. I had to tell her they NEEDED to fix them. Once I sat down to get them fixed the lady proceeded to tell me over and over again "this is your fault" "this is what you asked for." I work in costumer service and even if the customer is wrong you NEVER say that. She kept cutting me with the drill over and over and it seemed like she was doing it on purpose because she was mad she had to fix my nails. I have never been more uncomfortable in my life. If Tina doesn't return I will never step foot in this place and that's very sad because I really did enjoy coming here but that was so humiliating. read more

I've been going to Delphine and Susan for 6 years now. They are both amazing and a must try. Finally Delphine was able to open her own nail shop. The Nail Bar is super clean and comfortable. The entire shop is brand new and the workers are very attentive to your needs. Susan is my go to girl for manicure and pedicure. She is extremely meticulous and will take her time on every edge of your nail. Delphine is amazing as well but is sometimes booked with her regulars. I recommend making an appointment in advance because they are very busy at the moment. Also, the gel nail polish that they use is long lasting. It will literally last you weeks. read more

I have been to this nail salon for a few times. Wasn't great, but, okay. I decided to continue to come here because it is close by and not a bad price for what you get. I have heard about the owner wasn't too friendly and very selective for their customers. Today I had a bad experience when I heard the owner said to her technician in Chinese language that "oh, she won't tip you more than 20%" (she thought I don't understand the language, but I do, I just don't look like Chinese). I really annoyed by her attitude. The service I received was basic, nothing special. I tipped her 20%, it is reasonable, unless you go over and beyond your service, then you deserve more. At that moment, I wanted to tell the owner, I understood what you said, but, I didn't. I would not go back, she didn't deserve my business. read more

I was on the hunt for a really good nail place since I recently moved to Pasadena. In all my years of getting my nails done, I've only found one great place in my hometown in Ventura county. PLEASE GO TO THE NAIL BAR IF YOU LIVE IN THE 626 AREA. I was hesitant to even post a review because I don't want this place to start getting over crowded haha! They encompass every great quality you could possibly want in a nail salon. They speak great English, they are CLEAN, they even send you home with your callus sponge and nail file because they don't reuse them!! They offer COFFEE AND WATER, and the cute receptionist who I think is the owners daughter will even offer to get it for you but... people the coffee maker is right there do it yourself lol. (She offered a guy next to me waiting, for coffee and he said yeah and looked at her like he wanted her to serve him and of course she was more than happy to, but come on guy... that's not her job--entitled people geez lol) anyway, they have a great selection of colors as well. The big reason I was on the hunt was because my big toe cuticles were really hurting me and the lady who did my pedicure took her time and did exactly what I needed and now my toes look great and I'm pain free. I was the last person in there and my appointment went over like 30 mins past closing time. I never once felt like they were rushing me out AT ALL. My manicurist even asked if I wanted a 3rd coat because my color was so sheer. They are my new go to place and I swear you won't regret going here but just leave some appointments open for me! Lol. Now I have both of my favorite Nail Specialists in one beautiful location. It is a further drive for me, but I'm willing to do it for these two ladies. The Nail Bar is a great place to go for your salon needs! It offers a comfortable environment, is very clean, and they do beautiful and precise work at a reasonable price. At other salons, I often find that they can't get me in for an appointment, I have to wait even with an appointment, and the work takes too long. Here they get you in and out, with results that last. Ok so a couple of things. This was my first time here as I am looking for a place closer to home. I read the reviews before coming to this nail salon and I liked that other yelpers stated that they take their time with the customer and they do an amazing job. When I first walked in I really liked the environment and how clean it was however, once the manicure started on the spa chair is where things went south. Tina just felt super rushed when doing my nails not at first but as people started coming in. Now I understand they need to serve other customers as well but I am also paying for a service and feel that I shouldn't have a subpar job. She started becoming rough and was just trying to get me out of there. Usually when you get a manicure on a spa chair they provide some sort of support for your arms and place the water dish and gel dryer in front of you. This was not the case she was having me turn in every direction possible just to finish the job. I also thought it was odd that they didn't provide a massage on my feet or hands. They did put lotion on my legs but that's where it all stopped. When it came time to pay it ended up being more than I anticipated. I have NEVER been charged a fee to have my gel manicure removed before If I was getting another gel manicure done. Who does this !? It's part of the service and I have been to many nail salons from Beverly Hills, Pasadena Glendale you name it. Ridiculous. Lastly while I was driving home I noticed that she didn't even clean the back of my nails and I have extra gel polish that has hardened attached the the back of my nails. Based of of the many reviews I can only assume I may have had a bad experience but I am not willing to drop $60 again to find out. There are way too many options in the area. read more
