The first time I came here a few months ago - was a few days after my baby brother passed away, so I was in a bit of a head fog, but I do remember not feeling great leaving this shop - when I scheduled the appointment I just convinced myself that I felt off about this place because of what I was going through when I came the first time. So I went back again recently & I wish I would have stuck with my original not so great feeling about this place. From what I observed of a couple of other customers, it's great for the people who are their long time returning/higher paying customers, but as a new customer, you really are taking a gamble if they don't know you. I booked an appointment and had to wait almost 50 minutes to be seen, because they took someone that was going to have more work than what I was scheduled for aka they took the client that they would make more money off over my scheduled appointment. Then I was taken by somebody that I think it was her first day, so she cut four of my fingers & one of my toes when cutting my cuticles. At checkout - I was given a 5% discount for the "troubles". I had a feeling from the main chick in charge that I wasn't really welcomed & I will make it a point to never come here again nor recommended to anyone (I definitely understand why they advertise a large discount for those who post a 5 star review, because just going there for the first time it's really not that great) - I'm just going to continue with my press ons b/c spending my hard earned money at places like this just is not worth it anymore. read more

I am usually really particular with my nails, so it is big that I trust Tram full heartedly to shape, paint, and design my nails. I don't even bother to check them anymore because Tram will usually catch or fix anything before even asking me if I like them. She definitely is a perfectionist and takes pride in her craft! Usually, I come in with some inspo pictures with different nails and ask her to combine some designs, so I can have my own unique set catered to what I like. She consistently executes the design within an hour-ish for my appointments! Not only is she efficient, but also the quality of product and skill is definitely noticeable. My gel x sets from her always last for more than a month before they even show signs of lifting. I've included time stamped photos in this review as proof because I am always so surprised and happy to see the retention. The nail salon is in a great location with many amenities around to run errands after. The tools are clean and the store is well decorated and spacious. Tram is often playing music, offering snacks, or chatting with you. The rest of the staff are friendly and will definitely hype you up. They like to come watch what Tram is up to and compliment her sets. Shout out to Jenny for my first ever set at The Nail Print. She graciously helped me out as a walk-in. The shop is really cute, and the whole team is so welcoming that it feels easy to relax as soon as you walk in. I absolutely love my nails , the first time I came in was for a fill from another salon ( I didn't love the dipping effect last time) . So we did acrylic and a girly Halloween set . I was so impressed by Jenny my nail tech and Tram by doing free hand custom designs on my nails . I got lots of compliments from coworkers, family and strangers ! The retention rate on my nails was so good ! 5 + weeks and no lifting , like literally No snagging if I brushed my nails through my hair . I was able to make an appointment relatively quickly and submit my photo online ahead of time :). Since my nails aren't super long and I didn't want extensions, I was told a few modifications would be made (amazingly!! And still achieving the same look) The gel manicure has lasted for two weeks so far without chipping! I appreciated how they took the time to consult on the design first and how I noticed they were soaking off other patrons' nails (rather than filing them off, which leaves my nails in a bad state). They were also super respectful of my time (I went on my lunch break and was able to get in and out in about 75 minutes) The tv was on in the background (something to note when you walk in since the choices were a bit unexpected). I called to see if I could come for a pedi - told me to come at a specific time. I asked what payments they take so I made sure to go get cash before I came Walked in - super cute place, I sat and was greeted by a sweet pup - I love dogs so I was happy. Greet by I think the owner, who had one of the techs prep my spot. I picked the Hollywood pedi and it was nice. She dug a bit too deep on one toe but did stop when I told her it hurt, my callouses were treated & scrubbed The pedi was actually relaxing I wanted cherry red in honor of my mom that just passed, picked cherry red, it was orange when she put it on, so we picked a different one, it was still orange to me but there weren't any other acceptable reds so we went with it. I got outside to leave and my toes are now like a burnt sienna, not red at all and I kinda lost it as it's not what I had envisioned for my mom. I am sure they would have tried to change it but I wasn't confident at that point we'd find the right color so I just went home. I came in for a simple fill. My nails were already shaped the way I like them, and all they needed was maintenance. The first technician was kind and started working on them, but the owner suddenly took over. Once she did, the quality changed immediately. She reshaped my nails into a very wide shape I did not ask for, and when I told her I didn't like it, she insisted that's how my nails "already were," which was not true. Two of the thumb tips were applied flat and uneven, and the overall work felt rushed. For a $65 service, I expected professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for the customer's preferences. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but clients deserve to know what to expect. When someone is paying for a service, their requests should be listened to -- not dismissed. I wanted my wedding nails done here. I booked with Tram, she was best reviewed i could find and I was excited after seeing the work she's done. She was not the one to work on my nails. I was disappointed but understanding of the situation, only two people were working but I booked my appointment well in advance and with Tram specifically. I told the nail tech that I wanted an acrylic set natural pink natural shape. But not round. She took that as full square, when I asked to round the corners, she did a full hand of round shape. When I said that it wasn't what I wanted she put more on and left it as a square. I asked for the edges to not be as sharp and she was confused. Then I thought we understood "square shape round edges". Then she started filing my nails at an angle, so the tips were skinnier than the base of my nails. This made my finger tips look big and I didn't like it. When I tried to explain it to her, she misunderstood and thought I was talking about the corners (which were still very sharp btw but at this point she was frustrated and rushing to do a pedicure for a walk-in) . This whole experience could have been avoided. They are nice girls so I feel bad for writing this. But I feel like I was clear with what I wanted. I have gone to other salons and have gotten what I wanted. I came here excited to get a better experience and left disappointed. I wish there was more communication, I wish I got the nail tech I booked with. I had other plans today to do things before my wedding day, and now I have to go to a different nail salon to fix this. read more

the cutest ocean themed nails! Tram is amazing and SO sweet and kind. Her attention to detail is incredible and she will go the extra mile to make sure you like your nail shape and design, and take your natural nail and hand structure into account. I wanted to get a mash-up of 3 different nail set inspos, and Tram was super helpful and patient in helping me brainstorm how we'd plan it out! For instance, she said the bow charm would be too big on my pinky, so we decided to put it on my fourth finger. Tram also said she'd put different sea animals since we only have 6 fingers to work with, and she did absolutely amazing! Tram meticulously hand-painted all the little sea animals, and added a seaweed too since I said I liked it. She is sweet and cheerful, and we are so happy with how everything came out! Vanessa removed my old gel x nails, and Tram took over with the new gel x extensions, and a series of gorgeous nail art, 3D gel, and nail charms. My one star off is because either Vanessa or Tram took tweezers and yanked the cuticles of my right pinky off, which resulted in a lot of pain in the area and 6 days letter, I still need to bandage it and wait for it to heal. For future visits, I'd recommend asking them to be gentle with your nails and/or not cut your cuticles (so much or at all). Other than that, Vanessa and Tram were meticulous and kind, and we had a great time chatting and gushing over how cute and dainty the sea critters were throughout the appointment.
