I had a mixed experience here. As soon as you walk in, there's a strong acetone smell that takes a while to get used to. On the positive side, my pedicure was amazing. The technician was very kind, attentive, and did a great job. Unfortunately, my manicure wasn't the same experience. I got a French hard gel fill, and it took over two hours. It felt like the technician may not have been very experienced with hard gel, as each nail took a long time and the process seemed uncertain. While she was thorough with cuticle cleanup, it left my cuticles feeling very irritated. There was also some confusion with the color. I asked for a French manicure, but the base color used was a much darker pink that didn't match my skin tone. I tried to explain this, but there was a language barrier she only spoke Spanish :/ I wish I knew Spanish. After a few attempts to adjust it, I decided to skip the French and just go with a solid pink to keep things simple. Another staff member eventually stepped in to help finish my nails. Overall, great pedicure experience, but the manicure was disappointing and took much longer than expected. The pink I went with in the end is very cute the shape of the nail great. But I will not return because overall it was over 3 hours with both the mani and pedi. read more

A really great experience at this nail and hair salon. I got a pedicure from Ala, and it was amazing. It seemed like it was at least a 10 step process of massaging my lower legs, massaging my feet, giving a very precise nail pedicure. It just felt like a day at the spa. I was in Orlando for the weekend and needed a quick mani/pedi before Easter; it was alright. I got a French pedicure and was very satisfied with the outcome. However, my manicure was not very well done. It was splotchy and uneven, and for some reason they did not do any cuticle work or buffing or any of that sort (but they did do cut down and file) which may not come with the "regular manicure" but I didn't bother asking. So the polish looked messy, as it was painted over my cuticles. Although, the place is very clean and nice. The 2 workers who I interacted with were very nice. Horrible service , so I went on Sunday & paid 60 dollars for something I could get done back in California for 36 , but I read some reviews and thought oh it's. Spa and family ran better give it a chance since it close to my hotel . So once I get home I noticed my nails seem to already be lifting and keep in mind I got gel manicure & paid 5 dollars to have a few of my nails the old gel taken off . something I never have to pay for or shouldn't like isn't it part of the service ? Any hoot I get out of the shower and notice that they are imperfect I try to ignore it & on day three which is Tuesday I have horrible nails seems like regular polish , I go back and have them fix it I ask if I can just get something else because I'm not confident they will be left done correctly , the main guy starts to speak in his tongue language & tells me to sit down they will fix it , I sit and all the lady does which is the owner as well , paint over the parts that were lifting and chipped hmm really this is fixing ?? It is a little expensive but if you know how to maneuver around it like I did, it's very cheap and very quality. I got regular paint on all my nails and paid $10 extra for 2 nails to have gel and designed. It's only a 5 min drive and it's in a very nice little plaza. I went in to get gel. Asked for "gel acrylic". Was kind of confused when they started cutting nails, but it had been a long time since I'd gotten my nails done. They're beautiful and it's my fault I didn't get the gel done. I JUST now realized it when the glue started to hurt later in the day- and it started to hurt to open things/I can't open little tabs on a bag of make-up wipes for example.
