I needed a very simple regular manicure during my spring break in Orlando. I chose this place because it was located close to where I was staying. The place was nicely decorated and more importantly it was clean. I was offered water, which I declined, but I definitely appreciated. The lady did my manicure rather quickly but I'm not complaining because she did a good job. When applying my nail polish she didn't have to go back with a paint brush to fix errors like other places do because she didn't make any! The only reason Im not giving this place 5 stars is because I was given an arm /hand massage AFTER my nails were painted. I found that a little odd and less relaxing since I was afraid of messing up my nails. Also, I had taken off my watch, bracelet, and ring prior to the manicure and had to be very careful putting them back on after the massage. They didn't have one of those hand dryers so I relied on a small table fan & the oil she put on my nails. Luckily I left the store without a smudge. read more

Great experience! Came out of town, was immediately helped walking in, everything was clean and lady was very nice. I got a small water bottle, they have WiFi so I was able to work, large color selection and everything was neatly prepared. As part of my gel pedicure I got a nice scrub and the material was already portioned in a small cup with a lid so it seemed very hygienic. She had her own clean work basket and did a great job. If I lived there, I'd go all the time. $45 dollars was the charge. Fair price. read more

As my friend and I were sitting down for our spa mani/pedi, a man approached and informed us that our service would be interrupted when another larger party arrived. i had made a reservation hours earlier & they booked us. our spa pedi's were rushed less than 10 mins. when the party of 3 arrived, my tech left to attend to them. we overheard one of the ladies from the new party announce upon arrival "we just called about the 3 pedicures." i sat while the remaining tech rushed through my friend's mani & then rushed through mine. our tech was polite but we could tell she was getting pressure to finish faster. my friend was cut & bleed twice. my nails were not filed properly. i am dissappointed that this is how they chose to treat customers. in the end, i believe all 5 of us suffered. read more

I left her know I needed to be out in 30 mins. Asked if that would be an issue. She stated she would try her best. She had me in and out within 35ish mins. My nails do not look like they were rushed. I am really torn on my review here, but I won't be coming back. Tracy did my pedicure and manicure, and the outcome was not that great for how much I paid ($30 pedicure, $30 gel mani, plus a tip). Tracy was nice enough, but some of her comments were off-putting. I am a nail biter, and she kept making a lot of jokes about it, which was kind of embarrassing for me. I was also offered some wine, and she kept saying "keep drinking and get drunk so you don't notice if i do a bad job on your nails." Uhhhhh. And I am definitely very easy going and get the humor, but it was a little too much. The facilities were clean, and they had a nice selection of gel colors. Summary: Shitty customer service. This is close to my job. A few co workers and I decided to come here. It's Friday, 6:00, and they only have 3 nail technicians. Very dead in here which I prefer. However all of us, would not be getting out the same time. The two other chicks were going to meet us up there but they decided to head to another one. Either way as soon as we walked in they immediately said what do you want done? I told her full set for my cousin and a pedi for myself. I hesitated on a full set too. God forbid I want to change my mind for 2 seconds. She was so impatient. So I told her I'm still deciding but I'm doing a pedi for sure. As my cousin and I were picking a color, the dude who was going to do her full set, hovered over us until we looked at him. He said let me just put on the nails and we'll do this later. so serious no smile no nothing. He just seemed like he was in a rush. I have yet to see my cousin get up to "pick a color" and her nails are already glued on. It's fine though, she will just pick it later that's fine. Now here's the thing, as I'm walking to go talk to my cousin...One of the nail technicians working on a coworker, is grilling me. No matter what she does she's just staring at me even as I write this yelp review. I am very pissed off to the point I'm not getting my nails done today. I understand this is a business and they want to upsale... everything, but it is what it is. A business. How do you expect to have a thriving one, if you are not polite to all potential customers. The worst acrylic fill I have ever received. The sides of some of my nails weren't done all the way, making crooked lines that my hair would get stuck in. A good number of my nails had gotten chipped within a couple of days within getting them done, causing me to go get them redone in the same week. I found this place, let me begin by saying that at first glance, it seem very nice, and clean, I was like alright! But then it began, the owner KEVIN!!!! Began a conversation regarding immigrants. The nerve of this man who is himself an immigrant began to say that all immigrants are CRIMINALS!!!!! and that they should not be allowed in this country, it took everything in me to not jump this man. I got a mani-pedi on a Saturday afternoon. I called ahead to make sure they could take me and I was told to come right in. I got the salt pedicure, which was okay. I didn't really like the salt products, but that's not the salon's fault & not the reason for my one star. My big problem is the manicure. She kept me waiting for quite a while, then when she began she asked me NOTHING! She started to clip my cuticles and I had to stop her, and then she just went for my nails with a super coarse file! She turned my beautifully manicured ovals into stubby squares! To add insult to injury they were crooked, and I had to ask her to go back and fix more than one finger. I was with someone else and my manicure was done in half of the time. It was obvious that she was rushing because there were other people waiting. I was surprised by the number of negative reviews because my first visit was great! I must say that my second visit was exceptional! I think the nail technicians name was 'Anna'. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was staying close-by in the area and I needed a gel mani and this was the closest place. No other client was in the salon when I went in so right away I was a bit skeptic. I chose a nail colour as they had a lot to choose from. However when they brought the nail polish bottle to show me it was more pink than what I wanted. I asked them to change it but they kept showing me pink colours. Also the nail polish bottle was OPI but not gel. So I asked them if they would be using gel polish for my mani and they said yes but kept showing me regular nail polish so that also turned me off. I felt they were not professional and just trying to convince me to get whatever. I also asked them how much the polish change would be. They said $23 plus $5 to remove my old gel manicure. I was not happy with that because every salon I've been to that's included in the price. They also tried to encourage me to get a full manicure for an extra $7. That means a gel mani would cost $35!!!! What a rip off! And to add a pedi it would be another $30. I would never pay that much EVER in my life unless I'm super desperate (which I'm never to get my nails done). In the end I ended up walking right out before they even started. The attitude of the nail technician and the male were completely out of order - I could feel the negative vibe already and I was turned off. I said thanks and left. read more

Really love the service here! I just stop by as my nail chipped during my flight here (I'm on a business trip). Needless to say, they gave me one of the best mani-pedi session that I ever had! Love the service, the selection of colours; and the price is pretty reasonable as well (in my opinion) $55 for a gel manicure and a spa pedicure. I totally forgot to get the manicurist's name but she is amazing - very attentive to my requests and even gives very good recommendations. Walk-in friendly, great service. Came here Thanksgiving weekend (yes, I am late reviewing) and the brow and facial service by the woman, I assume she was the owner, was very good and professional. The man who did my manicure/pedicure who I believe was her brother or brother in law should find a new line of work. He totally messed up my polish on both my hands and feet. It was so thick it smudged on my feet in less than a day, I had to go back and have her repaint them the next day. He also totally messed up my No Chip manicure, I had to have him fix several nails before I even left the salon the first day. I have never had that experience before. Not a great first experience. Me and a friend who has been here a few times before made an appointment. We came in on time and there was almost no one in the shop. We were sat in the pedicure chairs rather quickly but then had to sit for an hour before getting our pedicures. We each picked a specialty pedicure. A young guy, obviously new, started working on my friend. She said he actually was hurting her because he was being so rough. He also skipped many steps of the specialty pedicure. Then an older lady finished hers up. The young guy started working on me but after getting my old polish off, he quit. The older lady finished mine as well. The actual pedicure was decent enough. Nothing special though. The kicker was when my friend informed them that she didn't get all of the proffering of the specialty pedicure (due to the new guy not doing them) the older gentleman told her "No you were too busy talking and didn't pay attention. It was all done" We tried arguing to no avail. She just let it go, but neither of us will ever be back. read more

Terrible service... I wish I could give this salon 0 stars. I asked for a full acrylic set and manicure and the nail tech completely botched my nails. They charged $13 extra dollars for the manicure, which would have been fine if they actually gave me a full manicure. All they did was proceed to cut my cuticles to the point of pain, all the while leaving jagged edges. After an hour and a half, the acrylics were finally on and ALL over my finger tips which I had to peel off myself. I asked for a coffin shape, which cost me an additional $5 as well. The next morning I noticed that my real nails were pulling away from the tips, which could potentially lead to serious problems with my nail beds. When I returned to speak with a manager and ask for a refund I was told there was no manager or owner available and they would only "fix" my nails, which I do not want and refused to get me in contact with the manager. I proceeded to ask another person when the manager would be in and she informed me that the man I was speaking to was the manager. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT COME HERE. I was on vacation and needed to get a pedicure. I looked on maps and found the Nail Spot. They were not very friendly. They didn't ask if I wanted anything to drink. I asked for a glass of wine. She said they only had water. I asked if they served wine and she said they were out. I said seems crazy not to have wine at a nail salon in a vacation town where lots of ladies need a pedicure and like a glass of wine to relax. She said hold on and went to the back and brought me a glass of wine. My pedicure was below average. She spent less than 1 min on the scrubbing exfoliating part of the foot.
