Empty place and asked the person who is accompanying me to basically go seat in the front to wait for me. When this place is absolutely EMPTY, absolutely no one else, but us, and yet did not allow her to seat close to me to chat. I wonder why it was empty, well the same owner explained it herself. I asked for a French tip I even showed her an inspired photo of how I wanted it done, she told me that she could do it but it looked nothing like the picture. I went here for the first time. I always get the powder manicure but I decided to go with the gel. I had the gel manicure and 3 days later it started peeling, I went to get it fixed which they did. 2 days after another nail started peeling. This has never happened to me before. I don't know if the quality of the paint is not good or if they rush in doing the nails but will not be going back. One week later and 3 nails with chipped paint. The nail salon is fairly clean. Receiving a detailed and quality service can be a hit or miss. My review is on two separate occasions. My husband and I both had appointments for pedicures and once we arrived we waited 15 mins to be seated, which I find unacceptable for having an appointment. Once seated in the massage chairs our feet were soaking in water for another 10 mins, then only a nail tech to serve my husband, but not me. On another occasion I received an SNS manicure, which was fine until the nail tech was persistent in finishing the SNS manicure by applying a gel top coat and using the UV light. As you may know, this is not the correct way to complete an SNS manicure, but rather the quick way. I verbalized to the lady that I wanted it done correctly, but she was persistent to say that this way was better, that it lasts longer and blah blah blah. I didn't argue. I have been looking for a great nail Salon since I have moved down to Orlando a year ago and I have found it! traycy was my nail tech and she was fantastic! She did a wonderful job on my nails and I truly have no complaints about her! She also offered to do my eyebrows at first and I was hesitant because I don't let anybody wax my eyebrows except for one person but she is in New York so I was desperate so I figured why not. She was understanding to how I wanted them not to be super thin and to follow the shape that I currently have. She was amazing. I love coming to this location for a pedicure. It lasts longer than 20 minutes and feels so relaxing. The massage chairs are in great condition and feel amazing. I'm happy I get to hit the massage button twice during my pedicure. I have always opted for a regular pedicure but am still given the sugar scrub on my legs, which is more than what I'm used to. Then the staff member proceed to make an anti gay comment by offering to paint my nails in pink. Told her that was not an appropriate comment being a guy not a girl, had to stop her from insulting me. They should not discriminate against no sexual orientation or race because they speak their language at all times when clearly we cannot understand them and make fun of customers that support the business. While waiting for my meal, I looked it up on Yelp and found one suspicious 5 star rave review. Could it be that good, really? They had a TON of OPI colors and a few Essie - I love both so I was happy. Got my manicure done first - I am so anal about having paint on my fingers so he cleaned all the edges to my standard. Pedicure was great but I wish people would use their muscles and give a good massage but regardless, I didn't feel rushed. The place smelled clean and they weer giving a discount because of the new ownership. One thing - you have to ask to add the tip before you put in your pin or sign. They don't ask you. It was a full house when I entered, a good sign! So I was helped by Kim and was very appreciative. She didn't drill much on my nails which I loved!! Some take that to extreme. Not only do they offer you a drink when you first come in, they are up to date with their technology but both Ken and his wife are extremely accommodating and truly care about their customers. When I expressed my concern the lady said "you picked the color" I mean who says that!? Once manicure was complete and she was doing my pedicure I expressed how unhappy I was with manicure and she said she would remove and redo but I would have to pay for removal and pay for both manicures!!
