    I got a gel manicure and it came out perfect - Christine was kind, quick and did a great job! It's not a fancy place - the gel UV lamps felt a little grimy and could use a wash, it is a bit cluttered inside but overall I walked out with a beautiful manicure for a reasonable cost.

    DO NOT COME HERE! First and last time I come here I did my nails less then a week ago and they are all coming off. I went in and the lady that started doing my nails started yelling in her language and I couldn't understand her. She didn't want to help me and it was just a horrible experience. I get my nails done all the time and this was just the worst! If you do come here ask for Emily she was very nice and calm when I came in.

    Walked in with out appointment on my birthday exactly a month ago. They took me right away, I showed one of the girls a picture of what I wanted and she did exactly like the picture!!! A month later, even though they are grown out, they are still looking good! Will be going back today for a fill and color change.

    [[HIGHLIGHT]]My experience was terrible. Very poor customer service[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The worker Emily did a great job in May of 2024, with the exception of causing my toe to bleed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I asked to schedule an appointment with her the next month, she told me to call back. I called no one answered[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I drove from one city to Alexandria, VA to receive the customer service on June 17, 2024. At this time services from worker Emily were requested. I was told to wait. No problem. I agreed. Then an older woman was called in and assigned to me. Emily started to work on another client[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I asked Emily why would she not service me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Emily lied and said ,"I am not Emily and have only been in the store 2 days"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] During the May visit Emily spent an hour on my feet and a second hour on my hands. I was highly impressed.. I have had my nails done in their shop three months in a row. During my June visit, The older lady was asked her name. Her response was "Emily". Then proceeded to proceeded to say the young lady calls herself Emily when the work on her arms is too strenuous. The old lady did a poor job. My pedicure and manicure costs 95.00. It was done on Monday, June 17. By Wednesday, June 19, the polish had messed up because she put in too many layers on my foot. I was totally unsatisfied with my service. Two other people stormed out due to being racially discriminated against. A worker from a furniture store told me they were racist as well.

    The store is clean and pretty and my nail tech was nice. Loved the massage chairs! But I found the quality of the service to be pretty basic and a bit underwhelming for how much I was paying. I still had some leftover nail polish from my previous application on my feet, and the clear nail polish on my hands started peeling off only a couple of hours after application.

    TNS is only about 2 months new, but I enjoyed my service here and could see myself coming back. The salon is small but well-decorated and clean. You can tell they're still finishing the set-up process but it doesn't affect the service. My pedicure was quick and very relaxing. I knocked off a star because the polish began to chip pretty quickly soon after, but the service itself was great. The nail tech was kind, quick, and efficient. Take advantage of the grand opening special and the large variety of colors!

    Fast service. Friendly staff. Clean salon. Subtracted one star because they're a bit overpriced.

She explained the wax wasn't cooling because the building was so hot, but the wax itself was way too hot and very uncomfortable. She didn't apply pressure after removing strips, which made it especially painful, and went over the same areas of skin more than four times. I've been getting waxes for over 10 years and have never had this type of reaction from my skin -- I left red, irritated, and sensitive for days, and even then not all of the hair was removed. Unfortunately, I would not recommend booking with Uka at this location.

I chose not to complete the form and was told that without it, I could not check in. I understood and decided to leave. As I was walking out, I was told that if I canceled my appointment, I would be charged a $35 cancellation fee. I never authorized a credit card to be kept on file, so I was shocked to later discover that my husband's credit card had somehow been charged. My concerns are: 1. How did the office obtain my husband's credit card information and charge it without my authorization? 2. If completing this medical form is now a mandatory requirement, why wasn't I informed of that when I made the appointment over the phone? I spoke with the same employee who later attempted to check me in. Had I been told about this new policy beforehand, I would have canceled the appointment before making the trip and avoided both the inconvenience and the $35 fee. I've been a loyal client for around two years, and this experience was incredibly disappointing. The lack of communication, combined with charging a credit card that I never authorized to be on file, is unacceptable. This is not how long-time clients should be treated.
