A spa like experience, right here in Sacramento that is a must! Located off Fair Oaks, there is plenty of parking, a friendly staff, and best of all, non toxic polish. Their customer service is amazing, offering you something to drink as soon as you arrive. This was my first time going somewhere that uses non toxic and it was great to see all the colors that were available and the different types. You can see that the place is super clean, they ensure that products are used only once, and they disinfect the items used. I've gone twice now with Olimpia and both times she was great. She's friendly, bubbly, and caring to ensure that you receive the best service while you're there. For those who love to take instagram worthy pictures, there are plenty of backgrounds to use for posting your fresh mani or pedi. It was my first time availing their services and I'd say that it was an amazing experience! I was given a choice of water or red wine, and the ambiance itself was classy and clean. I also love how the nail techs were very attentive and caring to my nails' health. I was originally supposed to do a structured manicure but was advised against it to let my nails heal and rest, which I really appreciated, so I got the check-in manicure and gel-x removal instead. I wanted to love this place so badly and drove 20-30 min from home because of their high standards for hygiene and sanitary practices as I've had a couple infection scares from pedicures at other salons. At first my experience was good overall. My pedicure tech barely talked to me but my manicurist was friendly once I broke the ice. They both seemed meticulous, were gentle, and I was happy with their work and the ambience of the salon. Unfortunately now almost 2 weeks after my services, I have a nail infection that is barely just draining. I also had the beginning stages of one on my toe but with soaking it didn't progress. Both spots were tender, red and swollen after the mani pedi but that's not uncommon immediately afterwards and I didn't think anything of it at the time. I've never had an infection on my fingernails and this was a first and very surprising for a place that autoclaves. I'm willing to try again but maybe with a different tech and wondering if that was the issue? read more

I hate being this person, but this is absolutely not worth the 80-90$ i spent there. My cuticles look horrible, my nails are so so so uneven. My nail tech was friendly, and she did ask me "do they look okay?" before applying the gel.. and truthfully i noticed some unevenness but I thought once the gel was on it would be fine. Man I was so wrong.. she also left gel all over me, which doesn't even happen to me at a "chop shop". Then on top of all that they started peeling that same night! (My pinkie on my right hand was already broken so that I understand is on me) Man, this is so bad. I went here thinking all the nail techs were going to be amazing & high end, since this is what they advertised. :( Im so disappointed not only in the service I got but in the management as well. I left feedback and sent an email that same night, hoping someone would reach out to me and try to make it right. Not a non-toxic salon, and the nail polish they say is non-toxic smells like every other chemical polish. Eco-friendly in that they charge the customer $3 'green' fee for their recycling. My tech, Alma, was unfriendly, mumbled the few words she did speak to me and made my nails all different lengths! My left hand nails are all shorter than the right, and all of them are way too short. Worst manicure ever. I left with out polish since because my nails were too short for polish and ended up with a Check-in Manicure but paid for a Boutique Manicure. I'll never be back. read more

I decided to treat myself and my 2 daughters for mani/pedi services. I didn't want to go to the regular nail salon that we usually go to. I've had some terrible manicure experiences. I did some research and The Nailtel came up. I was able to go online and book our appointments. Shout out to Alicia for giving me THE BEST mani/pedi ever! This isn't like the other nail salons that you can find on every corner. I like that they are appointment only, so I don't have to wait behind walk-ins. There isn't a crowd of people sitting and waiting. The service never feels rushed. It's a relaxing environment. I went to The Nailtel for the first time a few weeks after they opened and I have been going ever since. While I've always had great experiences there and enjoyed every tech I've had, Tatiana is incredible. She is meticulous about her work and always makes sure I like the shape of my nails before polishing, which I appreciate. Tatiana is friendly and genuinely kind, but is also comfortable with a quiet appointment and listens. Going in to see her is such a treat. I typically get a simple mani-pedi, but her nail art is next-level. I love that The Nailtel has Dazzle Dry (it dries in five minutes, lasts for weeks, and doesn't require curing/gel/powder). The Nailtel is clean, the aesthetic is lovely, and it's worth a visit -- especially if you can book with Tatiana! It's the best nail spot in Sacramento, hands down. read more

The Nailtel is a beautiful place and the way they run everything is very professional and on-brand for what they are going for. I booked a pedicure online, which is super easy to do. The pricing is very clear and they are an eco-friendly salon which means that the waste produced here is converted into clean energy instead of going into landfills. Because of this they charge an extra $2 per visit, and they are vey clear about the charge. You know that you will be charged the extra fee. They only carry non-toxic polish as well. It's a beautiful salon with a hotel-like feel to it. The interior really is something, there's a lot beautiful details. I got the Boutique Pedicure, which is like a basic pedicure, it was really nice and very relaxing. I would definitely return to get my nails done again. I really liked that you can tip your staff using Venmo. I went during the week when they first opened so parking wasn't an issue but I can imagine since it's in a small shopping center parking may be a bit more of a challenge on the weekends. COVID Update: They ask that you arrive as close to your appointment time as possible to limit the people in there. There is plexiglass between the chairs at the pedicure section and plexiglass between the customer and the nail artist at the manicure station. There is also a plexiglass divider between the front desk person and you as well. They require that you wear a mask and all staff there wear masks and gloves. They take your temperature and ask you to fill out a COVID waiver. As I mentioned in my review you can opt to tip using Venmo, they have the QR codes of all the staff and you can scan the image and tip them directly. read more

Immediately you're stars-struck by the gorgeous decor and comfy seating and intrigued by the bar-looking island that's just across from the check-in & check-out station. They always have some entertaining show playing on the TV and Insider scoop - I hear they're going to be serving champagne and wine soon! I got lucky and fell in love with the first nail tech who I was paired with on my first visit here, Katherine. She does a phenomenal job both with manicures and pedicures. And she's great company too to talk with while getting my nails done. Lastly, I was hesitant to check this nail salon out at first only because they're an all-natural establishment; however, they're using new, top of the line natural nail products and so Katherine's work lasts just as long as any other traditional manicures/pedicures I've had in the past. An average nail salon. Cute decor. Relaxing environment but nothing luxe about the experience. Very inconsistent experiences depending on your technician. My sister and I went in on Saturday morning to get pedicures and while the staff was friendly, the technician that worked on my sister did a terrible job. Her painting was sloppy and she even acknowledged it. After 3 coats, the technician said "Don't worry I'm not done yet" and kept adding paint to attempt to cover up the streaks and uneven paint job. In less than 24 hours, she has multiple chips just from normal daily activities because the paint is so thick. Additionally, the nail shaping differs across each nail and she rushed through the pedicure so quickly, it was at least 15 minutes shorter than my pedicure and we had the same service done. Im not even sure she got a massage because if it happened, we didn't notice. If you are to try this place out, request for Erica. I have no complaints regarding my pedicure done by her! read more
