Although I'm sure her student is talented, my appointment was specifically booked with Tina, and I was disappointed that this wasn't communicated ahead of time. I had been going to Tina for a few months and always booked simple clean-ups with no polish, still paying full price and leaving a tip each time. I drove 30 minutes to the salon and felt that my time and loyalty weren't respected. Tina later reached out and offered me a discount to make things right, but when I followed up by text, she stopped responding. Overall, I wish there had been better communication and follow-through, as the experience left me feeling disregarded as a returning customer. 6/25 I booked an appointment on Booksy for 11:45 am for a manicure and pedicure for my birthday…read moreweekend.. When I arrived I was greeted by a young lady, nice inside, a customer was already in the pedicure chair, they have two chairs, there was only one technician which is fine. I advised I had an appointment for 11:45. Around 12:15 I was advise to move to another chair.. My feet were soaking as the technician was waiting for the other client toes to dry. Then she asked the client if it was ok to start on me, the lady said yes. Before she started I showed her the appointment and the price as this was my first time using booksy, The young lady stated that was not the price she also stated the owner was at a mtg/training. I asked if she could find out before she got started she texted the mgr to confirm the price. As she was waiting for a response a couple of minutes went by I advised her I wont be moving forward with the appointment as it was 12:45pm. As I was leaving and in my car pulling out of the parking lot a polite young lady waved me down explained that's her daughter business, she would be back after 3pm due to mtg/training and apologized. Recommendation: going forward if using different platforms for customers to book appointments these platforms should to updated to reflect that business day working hours will I be back on defense , not for sure.
