Someone from or hotel recommended this place because we needed a family friendly restaurant and were tired of the overpriced seafood tourist traps around here. Truth be told, I was concerned about the negative reviews, but I'm happy to report that we had a positive experience! The restaurant is very nice and clean and the staff was friendly. We started with the cheesy garlic breadsticks and homemade marinara sauce. The breadsticks were good but the sauce was the real winner. We even kept it to put on our lobster pizza! Speaking of lobster pizza, it was delicious. The lobster was fresh and the flavors from the ricotta cheese and basil worked perfectly. The rest of the family ordered the mushroom pizza which they reported was excellent. Overall we had a wonderful experience. Our server was nice but did not quite have the enthusiasm one would expect for someone working with customers, but the excellent food, management and service (bus boy) made up for it. read more

When you call and order a wrap no lettuce no tomato and the guy on the phone repeats it back to you 3 times and then when you pay and it still has LT on it. It's also cold and the guy on the phone tells you I just came back from a delivery I'm unsure of this order. I don't care about your delivery and I'm sure of the order I placed it. Came around 6pm on a Friday and it was moderately busy. The hostess was very friendly, as was our server. We ordered a small Pollo e Broccolo and it was about 12", cut into 4 pieces. For a light dinner, two pieces each for us was fine, but if we were hungrier we may have each gotten one ourselves (and had leftovers). The pizza was perfectly crispy and the crust was wonderfully crunchy. The red sauce was sweet and delicious. I also really enjoyed the broccoli. However, the pieces of chicken (while tender) were huge and a bit unmanageable on the pizza. They were also pretty bland compared to the rest of the pizza. For my friends breakfast he got 3 eggs no home fries which should have have been 7.99. He got sausage and bacon... and somehow his meal was 17.99. When extra meat choices on the menu said 2$ and I got a breakfast sandwich Which was suppose to be 5.99 .. I got the home fries which you should probably skip they were probably the worst home fries I've had... small diced potato's overcooked to almost a burnt roasted color and they were cold.. get tator tots instead you can thank me later if you happen to go here for breakfast. I got sausage because it says it comes with a meat option and a side of bacon but somehow my meal came to 16.99.. I was in sticker shock after eating this mediocre breakfast. With 2 coffees, orange juice, and a Pepsi the bill came to 50$.. I felt bamboozled. The 2 sausage links and the the 2 slices of bacon I had were delicious. The bacon was cooked perfectly just the way I like it, crispy. The sausage links had a good flavor, not over seasoned. I probably would not come back here for breakfast since there are much better places around for that. read more

I see that many poor reviews of this place refer to being understaffed. Most places are right now, right? New (hopefully) temporary normal, get used to it. Enjoy your company. My girlfriend and I stopped here randomly late afternoon on a Wednesday recently. There was one server hustling hard to cover 5-6 parties VERY efficiently. The food was excellent! Avocado fries were hot, fresh and crisp with an appreciable amount of heat. The Zeus was one of the best thin crust brick oven pizzas I have EVER had. All ingredients were fresh and clearly not canned or frozen. We are eager to return one day! The outdoor seating area could use a bit of a facelift. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Ordered take-out Buffalo chicken tenders, got plain with no buffalo or even a dipping sauce. Also ordered a margarita pizza. Got it but with one piece of basil ripped into tiny pieces. Should have known about the basil since when I went to pick it up the chef was outside at the supply truck and he ran up the stairs with a bunch of basil in his hand. We didn't open the boxes until we got to our destination and by then we were not going to drive all the way back. Place sucks, has gone down hill. $38 wasted. We attended Napoli's tonight for dinner. I can say, without a doubt that this was the absolute worst experience in any restaurant that I have ever had in my entire life. We've been coming to Ogunquit for 10 years now, and this is by far the worst restaurant in the area. First, the staff was very rude and short. The girl that waited on us was not only nonexistent but when she did come to the table and we would ask her for some thing, It was almost as if we were inconveniencing her, that was of course, on the rare occasion she actually came to the table. Now the food. The only fires these pizzas were being cooked in were the ones at the Digiorno factory, where they were picked up, and I think I've cooked a better Digiorno pizza at my own home. The pizzas were very clearly on frozen crust with either frozen or canned tomato sauce, and the toppings were not much better. Pizzas were completely flavorless, including the buffalo chicken pizza which had to be doused with a large amount of buffalo sauce to even taste like anything. We ordered seven large pizzas, all different toppings, and not a single one of them was actually enjoyable to eat. We actually didn't even touch one of the pizzas and ended up giving it to a different table, who had sat for almost 10 min and had never even been greeted. There were four tables that sat around us, two of which were already ordered and waiting before we even sat down. We were the first of the five tables to receive our food. The two other tables that sat behind us, sat for 30 minutes before the waitress ever came over to even acknowledge they were there. The one table in front of us, that was there before we arrived, got up and complained that they had not yet received their food and we had. And once again, God forbid you ask for a refill. Now comes to the point in time when we are ready to leave. We got the bill paid it and asked for to go boxes to take the pizza that was not eaten home. We were given two boxes, one of which came out and had clearly been used prior. A large grease stain from a pizza, and a dirty clearly used paper liner, we're present in the box. No possible way this was an accidental type of thing, it was 100% previously used. Never in my life have I been given a used to go container at a restaurant. Honestly, this was like eating at a restaurant from an episode of kitchen nightmares and we were sitting waiting for Gordon Ramsay to come out and shut the restaurant down. WASTE OF MONEY. We have been coming to Ogunquit for over a decade. This was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had, it was the worst food we had ever had in Ogunquit. When we asked for a to go box they brought us a used greasy pizza box. We watched 6 parties leave the restaurant after standing and waiting to be sat. They advertise brick over pizza but the pizza was not brick oven it's all frozen and cooked in a microwave. Don't be fooled by the menu the food was terrible and expensive. Seacoast Pizza was closed for the day, so this joint (now called The Napoli) looked like a decent fallback option. Wrong. I ordered a "white pizza" for takeout. Based on the website description, this was supposed to be a meat lovers-type pizza with a variety of meats topped by cheese. When I got it home and looked under the thin layer of cheese there was...nothing. Just crust. I brought it back, and the person at the register who'd taken my money tried to argue that it was supposed to be a white clam pizza - which wasn't what I ordered, and besides there were no clams on it anyway. The food was quick to arrive and really good. We stumbled upon this place after escaping the crazy traffic/ lack of parking further south on Rt. 1. We got back late after spending the day at Old Orchard Beach. Too tired to cook or eat out. Decided to order pizza and a buffalo chicken wrap to pick up and bring to the house. Order was ready in 30 minutes like they said on the phone. What a disappointing large pizza for $20.10. See the attached pictures. We ordered a #11, sicilliana pizza. Barely any of the toppings, cappacola, hamburger, sausage, sauce and cheese. The crust didn't look or taste fresh made. It looked like a mass produced crust. The wrap was ok according to my daughter. I know it's a vacation town, but I guess we expected more because the pizzas we get back where we live are worth the money. read more

The food was good! We had the house salad with their house balsamic. The house dressing is good. The meat ball appetizer is maybe 3-4 oz but with a generous serving of sauce. First of all...I only gave them one star because the delivery man was on time and he was pretty cool. Now...as for the pizza...it LOOKED good...however after eating one piece of the Rustica (veggie) pizza...I was up all night running to the bathroom. I threw up SEVERAL times and my husband wanted to take me to the ER...he thought I had food poisoning...and I may have...but I stuck it out...and fortunately this morning I'm feeling somewhat better. Also $18 for a small pizza is completely outrageous...but it was the only place who I could find that was open late and delivered. Update...David G...In your own words - You Need To Get A Clue. We were in Ogunquit on vacation a few weeks ago and stopped here for lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Most of the customers were seated outside but we chose to sit inside the restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Out server was nice and very efficient. We ordered subs and a pizza and the food was very good. Fresh and tasty. I also ordered a rum drink from the specialty drink menu which was delicious. The deserts were also terrific. I would definitely go there again on my next trip! read more

Vacationing near the area and decided to pop in for a family fun dinner at Pizza Napoli. The reviews we read highly recommended us to dine there so we did. We were seated fairly quickly upon our arrival, but the worst was yet to come. It took a solid 15 minutes just to receive menus. We had to call another waitress over near us because we thought our waitress forgotten us. We ordered drinks that took 15 minutes to arrive. And add another 25 minutes just to see the food. Overall the food was halfway decent except for the fact we were charged $15 for a $10 salad. Pizza Napoli will definitely not be hosting us any time soon. read more

We have been to this restaurant a few times and it has been pretty good. Tonight we arrived with a party of 6 and were seated right away. Unfortunately it took awhile before our waitress even came to our table. We ordered pizza and initially they said they were out of dough then were told they could make pizza so that was good. Dinners came out which were good. We ordered dessert and found out they were out of ice cream. Our way was Ok nothing great. Everything just seemed unorganized and nothing great. First, I want to say that the limited staff seemed to be working hard and they were friendly and polite. There were signs posted apologizing for delays and stating that they were short staffed. I ordered online at 5:30 PM for 6:10 PM pickup (the time they listed.) I arrived at 6:10 and the order was not ready. I sat at the bar for more than another half hour, kind of defeating having ordered online. The lobster roll was just ok. Lots of tiny shredded lobster and just a couple of chunks. Not at all what I would expect for the money. I ordered it with mayo (vs. butter) which came in a little cup that I had to mix in myself. Lobster had shells in it, too! All and all, it was not great, nothing to write home about, and nothing that I would expect to take 70 minutes to prepare. I ordered their seasoned fries, which were pretty bland. There was no seasoning on there. Also, because they packaged them up tight they were all soggy. I ordered a slice of blueberry cheesecake that was still pretty frozen, but tasted good once it thawed a little. No one particular thing was terrible, but cumulatively, I won't go back while I am here. Very expensive, too, for what I got. An overall disappointment. read more

I try never to write bad reviews since I like to see businesses grow, but this place- it changed with the apparent new owners. This was a favorite of mine with excellent pizza and foods. I ordered a simple pizza and when I got home I opened the box and there was mostly dough- I mean very little sauce and cheese. Tasted terrible. So disgusting I threw it out.
