Very expensive and not good at all. Ordered pepperoni pizza, small white pizza and 10 chicken wings $47 UGH The white pie was burnt and didn't seem to have any ricotta cheese on it. It was inedible. I have tried it two times now and will not return. It is a shame given how good their higher end restaurant is. First the pizza is just OK and over priced. If you want to pay a premium, there are better options around than here. Their chicken tenders are over breaded, under cooked with so so sauces. When dinning there, they serve the meals on metal pizza pans on the stone tables which doesn't work. Your pan slides all over the table when you try to eat! The last main issue that we had was their soft drink refill policy. They charge for each 16 ounce glass refill that you get. There is nothing on their menu nor does the waiter tell you. When challenged about it, it was blown off. So, after spending $10 for one person to have ice tea, we will never be returning. That is beyond reasonable. read more

Stopped here on a whim on our way home from "camp". Started out ok...Tristan was our server and was very friendly and attentive. Ordered a few beers, founders all day ipa and a pumpkinhead, and when I asked for a cinnamon sugar rim was told "not sure if they can do that but let me check". Happily, I did receive the rim.. Then put an order in for mozzarella sticks, which were very good, albeit a little small and a pizza. Ordered the Quattro Formaggi, which included TOMATO SAUCE and 4 kinds of cheese. The pizza came without sauce, we questioned the waiter who said we could "keep it" but he needed to show the chef. He came back and said they were making us a new one, but they had to keep the other one to show the owner. By owner, I'm assuming the trash, since chefs get so insulted when they make a mistake. Our waiter brought us some tomato sauce and breadsticks to pick at while we waited, but frankly it was a flat out insult to,have us sit and wait for you to correct your mistake. Suffice it to say, won't ever be back In response to the comment back from the business. 1. I did not now, nor have I ever expected anything in life for free. YOUR employee said he would leave the pizza for us to eat while we waited, we didn't ask for it. 2. WE knew what was supposed to be on the pizza, but clearly YOUR staff did not. 3. My comment actually said what was on the pizza, not that I wasn't sure. 4. I left the remade pizza there, so clearly didn't want the "free" pizza you claim I did. But again, doesn't matter because I won't be back. You only do business in the summer when tourists don't know better so good luck, you will need it. read more

Worst place I've ate at in a long time. Our waitress was very rude and actually flat out insulted us! Called us "children" on multiple occasions and acted very demeaning. She called us chicken where we were playing a little silly game with our hands and when we were just holding hand she said "see, that's how adults behave". Our bill was incorrect, I got a salad and wanted fried chicken tenders to go on top. She ended up charging us for three FULL meals (the salad, the tenders + a side salad and Chicken Alfredo) I never received a second salad. She never asked what type of dressing I wanted, so I assumed that it was going to come plain and I was going to ask for ranch. When I got the salad it already had a dressing, that I didn't like much. My pink lemonade also had a slightly off taste. My boyfriend got Chicken Alfredo and he thought it was too sour. Not good. We got some mozzarella sticks and they were actually good, the only really decent thing we got there. All and all, it was over priced and very poor customer service. I would have rather ate at a McDonalds. We didn't end up complaining at the restaurant because we just wanted to get out of there and on our way back home. read more

We had the pepperoni pizza, chicken cacciatore, chicken risotto, and linguine with chicken and bracoli. The good news was the pizza was good. The bad news is everything else was horrible. The chicken cacciatore tasted like someone open a jar of ragu sauce and mixed with some premade chicken breast. The chicken risotto tasted like day old rice reheated with water. It was not creamy at all. The chicken in the risotto was the same premade chicken as the chicken cacciatore. Finally the linguine with chicken and bracoli was the same horrible premade chicken as all the other dishes. It lacked favor. All the pasta were over cooked. This place is an embarrassment. I took a party of 18 there tonight. Almost everyone at my table of 10 thought their pizza was burnt. When the birthday girl tried to send hers back, the chef said that's the way it is supposed to be. There is brick oven nicely charred, and there is tastes burnt. Some of these looked and tasted burnt. For the kitchen to refuse to remake one that was sent back by someone whose birthday it was was completely unacceptable. I will never go back and will tell other people not to go!! read more

My family vacationed in Wells every summer for the past 20 years and my parents recently bought a place there. Its a great town with one fatal flaw: no good pizza. It seems like more places have popped up over the years and things have been looking up. Pizza Napoli is pretty good and is probably a three star place, but, due to the lack of notable pizzerias in the area, it gets bumped to a four. Cheese was good, as was sausage and mushroom. My only complaint is that it claims to have a wood fired brick oven, but I'm pretty sure its just gas. read more

Just ok, we sat inside and it was arctic. I inquired about the temp and the server informed us that the owner keeps "a lock on it", while she never apologized or offered for us to move outside. I found the server (an older blond woman) curt and not particular helpful. I inquired about doing a half/half pizza and she said some kinds you can but didn't elaborate. Umm, ok. We ordered a large Pollo Broccolo. It was too cheesy and the chicken pieces were so gigantic they needed to be cut. My older son got small cheese pizza which was way to big for a kid (there was no pizza on kid menu...odd). My other son got chicken, penne broccoli Alfredo which he enjoyed and could have easily fed two kids. I really hate writing this poor review but hope, in so doing, the owners fix what's wrong. As a family we have gone to this restaurants many, many times. Over the past couple of years it was our go to place. One of my sons always said that they had poor service. The rest of us blew it off and said that the food was so good that we let it slide. A couple of weeks ago we were there and the service wasn't bad, it was horrific. Waited forever to order beverages, thought they forgot our salads they took so long. Our pizzas took just as long and they actually forgot an entire entree. No apology, nothing taken off the tab. Sadly, we will not be back. The food is great,the service is beyond bad. read more

Tonight's dinner was absolutely perfect. Being April 12th it was not busy so we were one of three tables taken. Very cozy and warm with the wood paneling and gas fireplace. Clean with two televisions. For apps my wife had the Caeser salad, I split 10 buffalo wings with my youngest son, and my oldest son had mozzarella sticks. All three were very good. Only complaint was the wings were on the small side however they were cooked and sauced perfectly. For dinner my wife and I split a small #11 Sicilliana. It was excellent. Crust, sauce, cheese and meats were all very tasty. My oldest son ordered a calzone with hamburg. Very nice portion and well put together. My youngest ordered from the kids menu and had chicken wings and fries. The chicken wings were those an adult would enjoy. Baked nice and crispy. Both boys had fountain soda and Cabernets for my wife and I. Service was excellent. Can wait to visit again. read more

Although delivery was quick, the pizza delivery guy STOLE our alcohol from a cooler sitting outside after delivering our food. This is a cute pizza joint with patio and indoor seating. The menu is simple and reasonable. We ordered a Caprese Pizza with Mozzarella, Tomatoes and Basil to go. We did not come for the pizza. I wanted a gluten free pasta dish, and my husband was craving Italian food, not pizza. I had pasta puttanesca with gluten free spirals- it was delicious. They used a corn based pasta which is preferable to the brown rice kind. My husband was equally happy with his baked lasagna. We did have to pay extra for a small salad of mesclun mix, and a good creamy balsamic dressing. I had a lovely glass of red wine and my husband enjoyed a good beer on tap which complemented his dish, which was recommended by the owner. Although we were thoroughly stuffed, we made room to share a flour-less deep chocolate tort, which was really wonderful. Only negative would be slow service, and no bread with our meal. Pizza Napoli is usually an attempt to save some money since I just sold a kidney to afford my favorite bed and breakfast in Ogunquit... and since I probably just bought some delightful Maine beer. Not to say that Pizza Napoli is a "settled for" meal. This place is so good that I generally don't even know what to do with myself. I always get the Capri... dear God. Honestly can't remember having worse pizza in my life. I have had frozen pizzas that have done more justice than Napoli's joke of a pie. Pizza didn't have any sauce on it, I probably could have made a better pizza in my hotel room. We have no kitchen or microwave so that is saying something. I had the small Capri pizza. It is 12" wide, cut into 4 fat slices. Immediately, I knew it was fresh. Mozzarella was definitely fresh as was the tomato sauce. The waitress actually told me the sauce was made fresh everyday and it doesn't surprise me. It was that good!! My husband has the meatball pizza and devoured it whole. Prices were reasonable. About $12 for my pizza and $13 for my hubby's. Waitress was super friendly and nice. She sold us on the lemon berry marscapone cake which we took to-go along with my leftovers. Delicious!! Would give zero stars if I could. AWFUL! Food was average at best. Host was rude and not helpful. We waited over an hour for a table when the wait was "20/30 minutes". Every time we inquired about the table he had no idea. Also told we were not allowed to have drinks while waiting on the patio. Once sitting down, it took 20+ minutes for lemonade to come. let me start with the amount of time I spent at this place.. I arrived at 11:45 and did not leave until after 1pm. There was 1 man working... he was the hostess, the waiter, the cook, and the bartender! which I understand that everyone is short staffed right now but up until we were about to leave, we were the ONLY people there (me and 1 other friend). we both ordered 1 alcoholic drink. we shared a bruschetta appetizer, I ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo in which for some reason didn't come with broccoli when I received my meal and the chicken was looking a bit questionable so I avoided and just ate the pasta, and my friend ordered a salad BUT most of the lettuce was slimy and discolored and completely inedible. she told the waiter and he took it off the bill and insisted to give her a free dessert in which she declined as nothing we received from the kitchen was good and didnt want to have anything else. At this point I was irritated wasting so much time at this place because there were things I wanted to do and didn't plan on wasting more than an hour grabbing something to eat let alone 2 hours. I handed him the card without looking at the bill because I didnt want to wait another 30 minuets to come get my payment, when I received my receipt the bill was for $78!! I was blown away that 2 drinks, an appetizer, and 1 mean had been so much. I suggest ordering the meatballs for an appetizer. They were very good. The pizza crust is super thin and relatively crunchy and the sauce is good- but a bit bland. The grinder roll was good but tenders are used for the chicken Parmesan grinder and there wasn't enough sauce. They gave a small portion of fries. Dessert cake was average. We stumbled upon this place with Angelina's being closed for March, props to them for directing guests next door to check this place out. Highly suggest hitting this spot.
