I've tried lots of other pizzerias in the area and they're fine. But Pinsa is a standout. They all have a smile on their face with an upbeat attitude, which I love. As an added bonus, one of my family members took their dog along........the dog was panting a little bit and the woman owner noticed......a minute later, she brings out a water bowl for the dog. Now that kind of service is seldom seen these days. Kudos to her. A few standouts for me.....the Roman style pepperoni pie was fantastic as was the prosciutto sandwich AND the mortadella sandwich. The arugula and fresh tomato pie was also a hit. Rice balls kick a$s, and so does the tomato and basil pie. We probably ordered a dozen items and I tasted them all. There was nothing that was even mediocre, they were all hits. This place will definitely work its way into my rotation whenever I visit the area. My first time there- staff was great and made it comfortable even though I was new and wasn't quite sure how to order or what to order. I ended up getting their blueberry pizza- my boyfriend got a regular pepperoni. I'm pretty sure we both just got a "slice" which was a half of a pizza. It was the ones they had setting out. But they were not giving "I've sat out all day" they were both so fresh and delicious. The crust was unlike anything I've ever had for a pizza and I loved it! Blueberries on a pizza? A little Sus! We are a west coast couple. We were traveling to New England for our nephew's wedding and decided to do a few extra days of sightseeing in the area. Looking through multiple reviews, we found Pinsa on Port Road. We ordered a Caesar salad to share and the rectangular Soprano pizza, which included bacon, meatball, sausage, red onion, sauce, cheese and pepperoni. This restaurant is delicious, but be aware the crust is chewy and it's not like a classic slice you might be used to. This may be the best pizza I have ever eaten and I've eaten a lot of pizza to include pizza in Italy. The crust is phenomenal. It's not too doughy, not too thick or thin.
