Community pub/bar that welcomes summer travelers. If your headed to Crater Lake stop in for lunch/dinner. Cold beer, cider excellent pub grub. All the staff are locals. Good source of things to experience along Hwy 138.

I asked for overcooked hamburger and it was pink inside. Comfortable environment...The waitress needs to pay more attention...brought back again on the burger..still pink..I'm so disappointed because I used to love this place. Get a better cook, who knows how to cook burgers.

They've done a great job of turning it into a bar/restaurant. I'm sorry I didn't get my server's name, because she was very friendly and helpful. I decided to start with the Cajun tots. I asked how spicy they were, and she said that they could go mild with the Cajun spice. It also came with a peppercorn ranch. I also ordered the Aztec salad. Romaine, corn & black bean salsa, avocado, tortilla strips, cheddar cheese, tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, onion, chipotle dressing (I asked them to leave off the jalapeño...). She asked me if I wanted to add chicken, and I said yes. I added grilled chicken The food comes, the salad is very decent sized, and the order of tater tots was massive. The salad was a bit on the spicy side. That's on me, because I didn't read the menu very well, and I didn't realize that it had the chipotle dressing. My lips were definitely tingling a little bit. It was toward the high end of what I like for spice, but it was still very good. The chicken was tender and flavorful, with just a tiny bit of a char on it. It definitely added to the flavor. The tots were excellent. I'm glad I had her go light on the Cajun spice, cause even with light spice, again it was a bit spicy. Within what I like for spicy, but I definitely noticed it. The ranch helped calm the spice a bit I had enough tots left over to bring back to my room for breakfast. Prices are a little bit on the high end, but for what I got, quantity and quality, reasonable. Plus, the advantage that Oregon does not have sales tax. They also offer a military/veterans discount. I would stop here again the next time I'm passing through. Thank you!

There are also seasonal menu items. I couldn't resist the Portland Dip. It is a fun take on the French dip McMenamins style. Enjoyed Runaway Train beer with it. Atmosphere is that of an old train station with now tables inside and outside. A/C was working well as it was hot outside. Great experience and look to retune when in town.

Not normally my first choice, but was very tasty. We also shared the meatloaf which I really liked, my wife thought it was ok. This place was fantastic except for the sound was off the charts loud. It was understandable and no matter what, we were determined to make the night ours. A good time to put in the Apple three Pro iPods. Other than the sound, I would come here all the time. Fantastic servers and ours was extremely courteous and helpful in finding out what type of whiskey or Brandy that I like. She's a bartender and a server so she took the time to actually figure out what I liked in the drink. I found that extremely helpful and I would come back just to be served by her. Ambience is always important and like I said, the sound was extremely loud, but all the golfers were relaxing and enjoying their time together. Didn't really bother me as much as it bothered my wife. We were sat down quickly our server helped us figure out what type of drinks we wanted, and I can't thank her enough for her fantastic professionalism and sweet demeanor. That's the type of people that I want to work in restaurants and deal with people day-to-day. The food was fast to our table, hardy and savory. I saved my fish and chips for the next day and after dinner, we went outside and sat by the fire for an hour and a half. Our waitress broke away from what she was doing to go make sure the fire was stoked, hot and ready for us. Now the fire, that is an awesome fireplace outside. Stacks of wood neatly arranged next to the large fireplace that extends approximately 15 feet high or more. There must've been 30 pieces of wood in the fire, and it was roaring! I loved it and so did my wife! This is the place to go folks if you need a good experience with customer service and excellent food. And the drinks were terrific. Our waitress nailed the drinks! We were sad to see her go for the evening, but we were picked up by another great server. If you're looking to golf, the golfers all started, this is the best place in the world to golf at. Not being a golfer, I had to listen and analyze why they thought so. I had visited Pebble Beach and never golfed there but wow, I never knew Bandon, Oregon was the top destination for Golfing. It helps that this restaurant and resort is located in the heart of this amazing location. It's beautiful and welcoming and of course I would just come back for the customer service. Thank you!!

Just moved to town just a little over a month ago and decided to check this place out…read more First off the owner Bart is a real kind and down to earth fella. Really nails that small town vibe. One of the Bartenders, Jennifer is a real sweet gal and she works hard to make sure everyone is taken care of. I wasn't planning to eat but the feller sitting next to me ordered a good looking burger, but I was feeling chicken so I tried the blackened chicken sandwich and by golly it was sure fantastic. The tater tots are seasoned up real well and the chicken was full of flavor, layered with bacon. The bar itself is clean, well organized, with plenty of space. The stage hosted a man with a guitar that evening and he put on quite a show. Dart board upstairs is a fine addition . This is a smaller town watering hole done right. A great place to wind down after a long work week.

We went there as a group and ordered grilled cheese from the kids menu for the little ones. The food came out maybe an hour later and it literally looked like they just put slices of cheese on bread.
