Horrible, horrible customer service!! I bought two deals with these people on living social a year ago. They had no one to answer phones and I spent weeks trying to schedule an appointment with these people to no avail. My vouchers were about to expire tomorrow and I called for one last try with these awful people today just to see if I could redeem them. A year later this excuse for a salon still doesn't have a receptionist!! I left my last and final message and waited. Later in the day I still didn't receive a call back so I called living social to refund my deal and get my almost wasted money back before it expired. While I'm on the phone with their customer support- the crack pots at The Natural Face Place call me back. When I checked the message they left for me it was the NASTIEST most ridiculous and rude response I've ever heard from a so-called professional business in my life. The woman is snickering on the phone that if I don't pick up they can't schedule me and 'what KIND of person calls on the last day' (I've been calling for a whole YEAR, lady!) and that I need to learn how these things work and pick up my phone. RUDEST message ever basically. Then she accidentally leaves me another one but for a different person (un-organized, un-professional) for someone else who was complaining and leaves them the SAME RUDE MESSAGE! I can't believe this horrible woman goes through life speaking to people in this manner! ....Me? Pick up MY phone?! How about pick up your OWN damn phone or hire a freaking receptionist! You're in the service industry people. Have you ever even HEARD of customer service?!! Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Businesses that conduct themselves this way make me sick. No wonder you had to go on a deal site to try and get customers. I purchased a coupon off of Living Social for this place. It literally took months for me to schedule an appointment. My appointment was even cancelled twice on their part. However, I do admit, I had to cancel a couple of times too due to conflicting events. Regardless of the cancelations, the customer service to book an appointment was horrible. No one ever picks up the phone here so I always had to leave a voicemail message. I played a lot of phone tag too. Sometimes they wouldn't return my calls so I called back, leaving another voicemail stating that I didn't hear back from them, only to get a disgruntled call back saying that they did call me but I was the one that failed to call back. Lies. The day came to finally get my facial. My skin looked good for a while but I wasn't too impressed. I have gotten chem peels before that had better results on my skin and that didn't take as long to get done. I know chem peels and facials are different and it's comparing apples and oranges, however I'm results-oriented and I don't see why I would come back here for a facial when I can get something better elsewhere and not deal with the crap attitude from customer service. read more

I bought a Living Social voucher (before reading the negative reviews on Yelp, big mistake!). Aside from the less than welcoming introduction, and lack of initial skin analysis, she brings out her "BENTLEY" of machines She washed my face a bit rough and the cleanser stunk, then she started with the machine. Afterwards I told her it hurt. Then she put on a solution to help extractions. I told her it burned. She argued with me and told me it didn't burn, it tingled. When she put the steam ont op of all this burning, I had to stop her. She rudely said this is not going to work. I told her my skin was sensitive, she argued with me that skin is not sensitive, it is thin. My face was on fire! I looked in the mirror and was shocked at the bright red burned look. She said "you were red when you came in here". Warning: Stay away. This place doesn't know squat about sking. read more

Not sure what I can say that others haven't, but here's my little list of complaints: 1. Took forever to book the appointment. Lots of phone tag. 2. When I arrived, they had written in the wrong time for the appointment (half hour later). I thought this may have been my mistake until I read so many other people's complaints that that'd been booked for the wrong time. 3. Facial started out nice enough. However, she had a regular who arrived early, 15 minutes before the end of my 1 hour facial. Toni then rushed me out 5 minutes later. Totally rude. 4. The lime enzyme thing she used on my face at the end BURNED like crazy and made my face feel really swollen. I have somewhat sensitive skin. She should have asked, especially since she then showed me her excuse for using it on everyone by looking at the product description, which said FOR NON-SENSITIVE SKIN. She tried to minimize my concern by saying she uses it on everyone and they're fine. After reading Yelp, I see that's definitely a lie. Rather than trying to help me, she just rushed me out the door saying I'd be fine. It took about an hour or so with my face in the air conditioning for the burning to stop. 5. When I left, I realized she'd rushed me out so quick that I had bits of exfoliant everywhere! On my chest, behind my ears, in my nose!! Not cool. 6. The next day I saw that she hadn't cleaned out all of my pores with her extraction machine, and I had a few marks on my face from it, which she assured me would not happen. Worst facial I ever had. In my opinion, if you offer a Groupon, you should be offering the same quality of service you'd give a full-paying customer, otherwise they're certainly not going to come back. Unfortunately, it was awful. I booked her on my birthday, and when I showed up, she seemed bewildered. She was off. I also can't say that the smell of her closet-sized place reeked of kitty litter, because I saw no cat. I'll just say it was very cluttered and musty. She told me she had someone else coming in at 5:30. I told her I was the caller who booked a facial for my birthday. She said she remembered me, looked in the system, saw nothing and told me I must have the day wrong. "I'm pretty sure I wouldn't forget my birthday" I assured her, pointing out that she's the one who didn't put me in the system anywhere. At all. What I liked: Toni clearly learned from previous experience and has hired someone to help her book appointments; a full bottle of water waiting for me What I did not like: She had to leave the person she was treating to answer the door for me. Now, she did not have to do this while I was being treated, but really? Also, entire facial (including my getting dressed) could not have been more than 40 minutes. Lastly, my hair in a shower cap - no the most relaxing... What I am still evaluating: NOT your typical facial. I received the deep cleanse and it leaves your skin flushed and HOT (she warned me of this, so ok). Also feels very dry. Instead of extractions she uses some sort of machine, which was pretty cool. Sometimes I like to be surprised. And since I don't have a boyfriend, the do-it-yourself option is to commit to things without knowing what you're in for. Which is probably why I like Groupon/Living Social, etc, and the name your own price feature on Priceline. While most people consult yelp before patronizing any business they're unfamiliar with, I usually don't when it's a matter of small change - which is how I viewed my $10 eyelash tint at the Natural Face Place (normally $25). First of all, I hate makeup and ESPECIALLY mascara. I have really long lashes that become entangled no matter what type of mascara I use, and I tend to look like something out of an SNL Latisse skit after putting it on. However, it apparently does wonders for my appearance, as people who know me always comment on my inexplicably improved visage when I wear it. SO, what better way than to achieve the same results without the mess and hassle and countless cotton balls soaked in eye makeup remover? Enter Lash Tinting! I've actually tried it before, for some exorbitant price - I want to say $30 or so (well, exorbitant for me), but it had been YEARS since I'd done it. The first time, my eyelashes ended up much darker than I wanted, which I relayed to Toni (Antonia) and requested that she apply the lightest shade possible (I'm extremely fair). After we got over the initial hurdle of her accepting my groupon code, which she was immensely dismayed and irritated I had not printed out (and proceeded to lecture me about the importance of doing so), she got down to business and tinted my lashes the most perfectly light-dark shade of brown, exactly as I had requested. I now have a definite je ne sais quoi that boosts my self-esteem just in time for another dateless V-Day - hooray!!! On the downside...the phone rang off the hook during the entirety of my 30 minute visit (it's a one woman operation), and yes, some of the product may have seeped into my eyes (hopefully the damage isn't permanent), but all in all it was totally worth it and i will DEFINITELY be going back. I think Toni is excellent at what she does, and her so-called attitude just needs to be taken with a dosing of salt. She certainly has her own personality and way of doing things, but don't we all. I can imagine that the stress of trying to keep a small business afloat in this day and age is of more pressing importance than coddling every tardy, high-maintenanced bimbo who wanders in the door (if they can even locate the building). read more

I am so impressed by Toni. I found her by using one of her Groupons for eyebrow/lash tinting and had a great experience. I told her I was getting married in 10 days and asked about her facials. She was very forthcoming with information about how she does her facials and told me about a lymphatic drainage treatment that she does as well. She said she had another Groupon active but I couldn't find it. Nevertheless she honored the price from the Groupon and I was so impressed with my results. She did lymphatic drainage (to reduce puffiness), the most amazing extraction experience I've ever had (and I'm a Groupon facial addict) and used Hungarian products that smelled heavenly. Needless to say, I will be back because the results are incredible and her vibe is so relaxing. P.S. It seems that reviews for Toni are hit or miss, so I'm going to contribute on the "hit" side. Months ago I was commenting to a friend over lunch that I was having a hard time finding a place that does organic facials. Using natural, organic and eco-friendly products is incredibly important to me so I was really shopping around. Later that day she forwarded me that day's Groupon email which included one for The Natural Face Place. Beverly and Fairfax is a bit far from my beach side community but I figured fate was stepping in, so I bought the Groupon. Booking was not as easy as a some places, but easier than others. I sent an email requesting a call to make an appointment, which I received the following day. Unfortunately she didn't have an appointment available for the following weekend like I would have liked, but she had one on a Sunday three weeks that worked out pretty well considering traffic was incredibly light. Once I stepped into her little space I knew I'd like it there. Very cozy and decorated with Eastern symbols, with soothing music playing in the background. I have a huge Hindu god tattooed on my back, so I felt right at home. Speaking of body art, Toni has some beautiful, vibrant ink herself. She got points for that as well. Now, on to the facial itself. I hadn't gotten a facial in so many years that I actually cannot remember the last time I got one, but I do remember that it wasn't as pleasant as this one. First of all, all of the products smelled divine. They felt really great going on and I could really feel my skin coming alive. The extraction was a little uncomfortable, but she did warn me that the machine might feel odd, and let's be honest, extractions aren't fun, no matter how they're done. She mentioned my face would be flushed afterward, and it was, but not as much as I had anticipated. When it was done my skin felt great; like it was breathing again. As far as Toni herself goes, when I was there she was perfectly lovely. I can't imagine her being rude or impatient, but then again, we all have bad days some times. I was expecting some sort of product up-sell or for her to tell me I should come in every month, but instead she said for my skin type she recommended a facial every two or three months and didn't push on me the little blemish erasing serum I did end up purchasing. Bottom line, I would recommend Toni's services to others, so long as they're comfortable in a cozy environment with a person who some might consider New Agey or quirky, two things that are a plus in my book. read more

TERRIBLE! HORRIBLE! I was waiting for the cameras to come out and tell me I had just won a shit ton of money for enduring this experience. Bought a groupon, read amazing reviews and was pumped to go - SLAMMED with disappointment. Toni was rude and unprofessional is an understatement. Not only did she leave my session to go talk to people outside the room, she was constantly on the phone with people, even at one point had a bluetooth in and was talking business as she was treating my face! Needless to say this was the farthest thing from the relaxing or peaceful experience I was looking for. I should have known it was going to be less than ideal with the place so filthy and numerous spelling errors on the information sheet. She did not even change the paper sheet on the table from the woman who was there before me. Made me feel like I was a waste of her time as she constantly sighed throughout the process. Needs to understand that if people are there to get facial treatments, they might be sensitive to how they feel about their skin. Probably not the best to tell someone their face should not look the way it does at their age and that they really need to make some changes in their life! Ouch. toni fit me in last minute and i got a mini facial a while back. i've never met anyone that could make my face look and feel like the way she made it. i loveeeeeee this place. i love the products she uses. it's small but she does her job well. go look her up on citysearch. she's fantastic. oh here's the best part. i had my eye lashes permed here after seeing how wonderful it was for my friends lashes. it didn't come out quite as curled as i wanted so she stayed past her closing hour and redid it for me. later that week, i called her to ask about the type of lash conditioner i needed to use and she offered to send me some through the mail for free and sure enough 2 days later it arrived in the mail as promised. she's the best. read more

This place is awful! I bought a Groupon to get eyelash extensions (I had never had them before but I thought it soudned like fun). I should have known when I arrived that it wasn't going to be the experienced I had imagined. The Natural Face Place is actually one room in an old office building and the smell can be described as musty with an attempt to cover with incense. The appointment started with Toni telling me I had already used my Groupon (weird, since I had never been there...which she recognized also). When I asked her what the date was that I suposedly used it, she said today. Seems to me that it got marked as used when she entered the number to check the validity, but she insisted that I did something to mess it up. Whatever, I just chalked that up to an older woman not fully understanding the Groupon process. From there though, it all just went downhill. I walked through the curtain that divides the small space into two areas and saw another girl quietly sitting there. Toni said she would just be observing. I talked to her a bit and found out that she took a class from Toni and wants to do eyelashes herself. Great, I'm more than happy to have her watch and learn. But then, when I lie down on the bed (not more than 5 minutes after I'm told she would be just observing) Toni asks the girl if she "would like to do this girl's lashes." Nothing against that girl at all, but I didn't pay $100 to be practiced on. I politely asked if she felt comfortable enough to do it and while she said she did, I think she could sense my hesitation, so she told Toni to just do it. Toni put both me and the other girl in such an awkward position. It was such an unprofessional way to bring that up. She really should have discussed it with me beforehand to see how I felt instead of saying one thing and then trying to do another. Additionally, I told her I was wearing eye makeup when I arrived, to which she didn't say much, but now that I was on the table, this was apparently a HUGE problem. I am a smart girl, so I admit that I probably should have thought not to wear eye makeup that day, but also she could have given me some instructions prior to my appointment. Since I didn't get any direction, I really figured it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Toni began taking off my eye makeup in such a violent way. She was pulling so hard at my skin. Every estitician I've even been to has advised to be really careful with the skin in that area, as it is really thin...you would think Toni would know that as well. Next, she asked me to sit up because she needed to move the chair. When I went to do so and tried to open my eyes, they were burning so terribly I had to shut them again. She advised me to lay back down and then without warning opened my eye to put in salene solution. You would think I would have gotten some warning that she was going to put something IN MY EYE! At that point she said I would just have to reschedule because all this makeup (which is funny since I really don't wear much makeup at all) was making it too difficult and it was taking too long. I'd pretty much had it by then, so I just asked for a refund. She told me to take it up with Groupon and walked away to the other section of the room basically excusing me to leave. She didn't even say goodbye or I'm sorry it didn't work out this time. This may be the most rude "customer service" experience I have ever had. It's been about two hours since I left and my eyes are still red and burning a little bit. There are a ton of places in this area that do lash extensions, so do yourself a favor and choose somewhere else. read more

I'm not very difficult to please, but this was the worst experience I have ever had in getting facials for the last 10 years. She was rude to me during the facial which lasted no more than 40 min. Then she yelled at me because I called after the facial to ask if the hole the galvanic machine made on my skin was normal. She said it was impossible and then accused me of popping a zit on the wound the machine clearly caused (it's pretty big and a perfect round hole). This lady is never in the wrong and clearly has issues to treat customers like this. After ordering me in a very rude way once again to come back to see her immediately to take a look at it, she yelled some more that it was impossible and threw me out saying she needed to tend to her client who was not there yet. Have to agree with the negative comments. Of all the places I have visited with living social/groupon deals, this was the absolute worst. Most difficult to schedule (had to come back twice because she insisted i got the wrong time the first date) and then she really seemed put out to take me the second time. Maybe it was the coupon, but here she is back again advertising. Go figure. ON top of that, it was my first experience with eye lash extensions. Now that I've been to regular real professionals, I have to say her application is really lacking. The glue was spotty, thick and and bothered my eyes. Haven't had that problem with anyone else. I had purchased the hydrafacial as well, but to tell you the truth, i was so put off by here rudeness I just blew it off--didn't want to go back. Lastly, for the apologists who say she's a small business and can only do so much, my response is this: either don't advertise on living social (and here she is, back again) or at the very least, BE PLEASANT. The woman at the Natural Face place was really nice and patient, and guided me to the place. The facial was the best I've ever had. I have gotten many of facials before, but this one was by far the best! My skin hasn't felt this nice in a long time! I have big pores on/around my nose. I've been here about a year and a half back. I used to get the eyelash extensions. I stopped going because I didn't think they were worth it, but I will say this: Toni was awesome, super "into" everything she did which of course made her very knowlegable. The tiny studio was very relaxing (I found myself wishing I was there for a massage instead a few times). I feel like the reviews posted here must be from competitors. I have had a lot of facials. Yes they are nice and relaxing, but I have never had the results that I have gotten with Toni - and I've had many treatments at the dermatologist's as well. I've been going to Toni now for about 5 years. I first started going after I broke out from Creme de la Mer. I ended up with cystic acne and scarring that wasn't going away with prescription treatments. I initially saw her every 2-4 weeks for about 3 months and my skin cleared up! I always get compliments after my treatments with her. She uses a lot of natural products which was also very helpful when I was pregnant. I have to say to all of those that have used a coupon, it seems to be hard to use those anyplace since the businesses get inundated with appointments. But you're getting a discount ! I have never had a problem getting an appointment within a week or two. She does book up quickly, but it's well worth it. I also have attended several beauty shows with a friend who owns a spa, so I've seen first hand that the equipment and products used at The Natural Face Place are top of the line. I'm currently having issues with my post-partum skin and not only has Toni given me advice over the phone on what I can do when I haven't been able to get in, but once again,its the only thing that is working despite several thousand dollars worth of skin creams, cleansers & topical treatments. I learned about eyelash extensions from a friend about 2 years ago, and after much research was very fortunate to find Toni! She was very accommodating in scheduling me (I have a crazy schedule doing crisis management in this lovely land of entertainment LOL) and she did an incredible job upon my first visit in 2007. I continue to have my lashes done by Toni because the lashes look so natural and the compliments on looking "glowing," "awake," and "refreshed" constantly come in! Initially some of my friends asked if I have been using some new makeup, or have been asking what mascara I am using. Little do they know that I have eyelash extensions! Toni is also helped me get my skin back into shape! And introduced me to some natural and organic products that are effective and not costly. I used to think the most effective products were the most expensive! But she educated me on ingredients of products, what to do, not to do...She's a very warm, sincere and genuine individual who you will feel comfortable with. I like how she give samples of products and lets the products speak for themselves, not pushing product on you or making you feel pressured to do so. All her products are very natural which I love and she has been educating me a lot about proper skin care, what to use and not use. I have very sensitive and problematic skin, but since following her regmine, I have noticed improvement. It's been 2 years now since I have gotten my first set of lashes, and I have been a happy customer. My touchups I schedule are about every 2 - 3 weeks. They last long!!! I have also had facials, waxing, also. I received a hydrafacial from Toni yesterday and my skin feels really amazing. It's been too long since my last facial and she really cleaned up my pores. She was very knowledgeable of many different varieties of skin products, without pushing any specific brands for you to purchase. I have been trying different facial spots, all with "daily deal" specials, trying to see what is out there and what I really like.The problem is: you often have to buy the voucher before anyone with a voucher reviews the place, so you go by the reviews of people who did not get discounts.... I read the other reviews bout this place with coupon deals, and was worried. I will say I did not get the friendliest reception on the phone either, as many people said, so now I am double worried. But I go, it is upstairs in a big building, a small, comfortable, very pleasant space that smells good. Toni greets me and has me fill out a questionnaire so she can know what my concerns and history are. i am given a hair net, a robe thing and she gave me a wonderful hydrafacial. She cleaned my face with two products, steamed, used her machine that uses vacuum so it does gentle extractions and no painful squeezing, Toni told me what she was using and why, used LED light for firming and tightening, it was wonderful. She used some other stuff on my face, and I added a lash tint to my facial for $25, now I can run out without mascara if I need to! Days later, my skin looks clean, glowing and firm, although I am exhausted today you cannot see it in my face. She did not try to sell me anything, she did not criticize my skin care regimen, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely go back! Tonie was great! I would highly recommend her to any friend. Her space was comfortable and safe. The facial was the galvanic treatment and very stimulating! It burned a little but subsided by the end of the treatment. It wasn't any different from any other facial other than my face felt a lot tighter and firmer afterwards. I glowed the rest of he day! Tony has done my lashes for the last year and a half. I just recently switched to Lattice and let me tell you what... the results aren't even as close as good as Tony's extensions. I purchased 2 coupons for this place. It took months to get an appt.,, and I never could get anyone in, it was always voice mail. Someone called back, said she booked both appts (for facial and extensions) on same day. I called and asked how long each service should take, and the person said several hours. I then called back and on voicemail made 2 separate appts. When I arrived for the first one, Toni told me no one had called to make separate appts, and she was prepared for both services. I have someone's voice on tape, and told her so. "No one told me," was her response. From that point on, I really didn't have her full attention, because she talked on the phone for the remainder of my appt. I know all about the construction workers at her home, the mold issues, etc. She looked briefly at my skin and said it was very thin, and asked if I used Retin A. I said no, not in a long time (6 months). She said it really looked like I WAS using it, and then she said,"But, all I can do is go on the information you give me." Implying what, exactly? I'm lying? The appt. lasted 25 minutes, maybe less. She used the "hydra machine," put more stuff on and then wiped it off. I was shocked it was so brief. Plus, she had another person ready to go (so perhaps she did know I had asked for two appts.) Her continued talking on the phone didn't make for a relaxing time, so perhaps the brevity was not so bad. She then said I had to pay tax. I have used coupons before, and never paid tax. When I got home, I checked out my face (it's too dark in her "salon" to see anything). There were red streak marks on my face, from where she dragged the hose of the machine. My skin was (and is) dis-colored and mottled. I called her, and she blamed me, saying it only happened once, to a woman who used Retin A and didn't tell her. If she felt my skin was thin, she shouldn't have used the machine. I could have still had a facial. She offered to give me some oil, and said the streaks shouldn't last more than a couple of days. I'm not so sure, but I have ZERO confidence in her and her products, so declined. I am seeing my dermatologist on Monday. That will cost me three times what I paid for the coupons,and that's if it's only one appt. It's not even the costs...I am hoping she didn't permanently damage the surface of my skin. I am beyond angry about this. I threw my other coupon away. I assume she treats her coupon people differently than her other clientele, because I can't imagine anyone tolerating such un-professional conduct. Plus, not once did she say she was sorry for the streaks. I would never go back, and would never recommend her to anyone. I'd give her no stars if possible. read more

I have been really conflicted about writing this review, as I really, really wanted to like the service. There definitely were some good parts of my deep cleansing facial, but one not so good part. and due to the not so good part, I felt i really should write the review. The Good parts: Toni was overall very nice, sweet and knows her products. I have been looking for a place that uses mostly/all organic and natural products and this seemed to be the place. I liked that she had a reputation to keeping clients for years, as I have really wanted to have one good, go-to place for a facial and someone that knows me and my skin. I still think you can get that from Toni. She helped me pick out a few good products too, which I have been enjoying. The Not so good part: Having been to a facial before, I was familiar with the process of having steam on my face, then the extraction. She began the extraction with some kind of tool, then told me she would have to do a few parts manually. she went ahead with the extraction on two locations... the first of which was so painful that I actually jumped and said "ouch." She went onto another location, which hurt, but was not quite as painful. She then asked me if I had moles on my face, which I do (just a couple small ones!). She asked me if the "bumps" on my face were moles. I asked if show me where she what she was referring to in a mirror, but she refused. Turned out she thought two small moles on my face were pimples, and tried to extract them until they bled. She was very apologetic, even a bit embarrassed, and put some red and blue lights on the them to help the heal. I am happy to report there was no permanent damage, but I really did not appreciate being told that I should point out all my moles on my face prior to a facial. I have never had this problem before, and have had prior facials. I am choosing not to go back due to that experience. So, my search will continue... But if you are mole free, and want to go the all organice route, this may be the place. read more

I went to Toni for eyelash extensions. Before the treatment, I asked her if my eyelashes would be damaged in any way and she emphatically said that in all of her years working with extensions, no one has had this problem. I let her apply the extensions. I didn't touch them or play with them but they didn't last. She then re-applied them, using what she called a stronger sealant. When the extensions fell off weeks later, my natural lashes look like they've been cut. They are stubs and I cannot use mascara b/c there is no curl remaining. I pray this isn't permanent damage. After reading some of these negative reviews, I feel compelled to write and share my experience with Toni. First off, I want to say that Toni is the sweetest, most caring lady and very knowledgable about her business. For those of you who purchased a Groupon or Living Social deal and were put off by the reception you received, I can only say that The Natural Face Place is a small business, and sadly, there is only so much one woman can do on her own. Not to mention that unfortunately at the same time this ad seems to have been active, Toni faced some very serious medical issues. If you were expecting a fully staffed, state of the art spa, you would have been disappointed indeed. But of you are looking for a private, comfortable, affordable (her prices are unbelievably reasonable) experience, you can't go wrong with Toni. I have received numerous facials from her, and she has been my lash lady for years. Not only am I beyond pleased with her services, I always enjoy the time to chat with her while she is working. She has a very comforting and soothing way about her, and she has led an incredible life with many interesting experiences she will share once she gets to know you. She is a bit quirky and eccentric, but as I said previously, knows her stuff, and her eccentricity only adds to her allure. She has been accommodating with my often flexible schedule, and sometimes manages to fit me in at the last minute, but sometimes she gets booked, and I'll have to wait. She always returns calls in a timely fashion, and even sometimes will call me if she has a cancellation. I hope this review was helpful. If you're looking for good services at a great value, book an appointment with Toni. If you want the typical overpriced LA spa experience where they kiss your butt and charge you double for it, go somewhere else. read more

This place gets a BIG 0 from me!! Total sh*thole - and it doesn't take much to impress me! Toni was a supreme annoyed old woman!!!!!!! Rude, short, almost hated that you were there on a groupon. Even more so she had a woman sitting in a dark corner making calls and told her how to do lashes. The place was a dark scary hole!!!!!!! Didn't seem clean @ all, how would you know, it's so dang dark in there!!!! I will never go back there nor recommend it to anyone. Groupon says she will take an hour to do lashes - she was done in 20 mins - wonder if I got jipped!? No bedside manner! What a miserable experience!! This womarn is rude, insulting and complely unprofessional in every way. I arrived early so I would have a few minutes to relax before my appointment. Imagine my shock when the scowling face that opened the door, neglected to welcome me or introduce herself, but immediately began snarling at me and berating me for being "almost a half hour late". I reassured her that I was 10 minutes early for my 11AM appointment. She continued to insist that my appointment was for 10:30 and I was late. We bantered back and forth a bit and I finally was feeling very frustrated and upset and said I would just leave. She said not to leave, but she'd go ahead with my facial. She then, however, began to challenge me on why I hadn't answered my phone. I had to explain that she was calling my home phone, and I was actually driving my car, on my way to my appointment, so "no", I wasn't able to answer her phone call. Then, when providing her with my groupon I noticed I had written the date, and the 11AM time on the paper. I pointed this out to her at which point, she mumbled something about her assistant messing up again. Of course, no apology on her behalf. She then commenced with my facial, but in less than five minutes into it felt compelled to tell me that the "gratuity is not included in the groupon price". She informed me that Groupon people seem to think the tip is included in the Groupon price. Really??? As she proceeded, I inquired about the advantage of the "galvanic" facial. Her response was a question about whether I hadn't researched it. Although I had, I wanted her explaination about it, but unfortunately, the best she could do was to tell me it "does really great things for your skin" Finally, she got totally flustered when one of her machines wasn't working. She was running around all over the place and in a total huff, when she finally figured out it wasn't plugged in completely. Of course, this was the fault of the cleaning staff. Later, when I returned home, I realized that her appointment reminder call was still on my answering machine, so I played it back (to her answering machine) which stated the date and the 11AM scheduled appointment. Still no word of apology from her. What a piece of work....this woman really needs an attitude adjustment! read more

I love Toni. She always does a fantastic job on my eye lash tinting and it's perfect for months. I have received her hydrofacials and I absolutely love the way she approaches things and throws in little extras that make the difference. I have always had great visits with her. Sometimes getting a hold of her can be troublesome but shooting her an email is more effective. This is a one woman show and she is popular. All her information is on her website so if getting her on the phone is hard and you keep playing phone tag she usually is very prompt with her emails. I found her through yelp when I was like in the miracle mile area now I am almost 20 miles away but I wouldn't trust my lashes to anyone else ( bad experiences before). read more

Super quaint place and if you can forgo a posh atmosphere to save a little, I will say the organic products are fantastic here and Toni- though she's a little quirky and older- is really a sweet lady who has been doing this a long time and does strive to please. I'm a hyper sensitive person to products as well (have eczema/food allergies) and I've had no issues here when I have in the past at much fancier places. I've had the hydra facial, micro derm and the galvanic facial with lymphatic drainage - all were great and left my skin glowing but the last by far was my favorite. If you're ever in need of a detox, the drainage added to any facial is so great on your neck, face and chest to help flush and drain your lymph nodes that, at least for me after too much going out, start to get sluggish. She can let you know all the different treatments she offers as she's got several machines that all do the job very well. read more

I purchased a coupon from living social recently, it was a little tuff getting an appt. because toni runs her own salon. and is very busy. when I arrived I was happy with the enviorment small but quaint. Toni gave me a facial it was very relaxing and my skin felt very clean after. She took time to clean the poors wich is why I get facials. I can do a mask myself. Although it feels great to have it done professionaly. The best part about the natural face place is it is affordable and she doesn't push products and try to rip you off.
