Great experience here always. Staff is so kind and accommodating. Parking is included next to the lot at no charge. Very upscale and luxurious. Tried the sushi experience and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. You can request the massage levels when booking appointment but they will also ask you again during the massage.

My girlfriends got me a gift experience at Tomoko Spa, and it was pure luxury from start to finish. This place is on another level when it comes to relaxation and attention to detail. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality, soft lighting, and a calm, minimalist Japanese-inspired ambiance that instantly sets the tone. Before the treatment even starts, they bring out tea and a small treat, which is such a thoughtful touch. Everything about this place is designed to make you feel completely at ease--even the waiting area is peaceful, with plush seating and a quiet, intimate vibe. The treatment itself was next level. The massage was slow, intentional, and incredibly relaxing, but the foot massage was the real highlight--the kind that makes your whole body melt into pure bliss. It was so good I could've stayed there forever. Every movement felt precise and tailored to exactly what I needed, and you can tell the therapists are incredibly skilled. Afterward, they serve sushi, ginger tea and mochi, a perfect way to ease back into reality after such an indulgent experience. It's the kind of place that makes you feel completely taken care of, where every little detail is thought out to make the experience feel effortless. It's expensive as F, which is why it made such an amazing gift--I don't think I'd ever splurge this much on myself, but after experiencing it, I totally get why people do. If you're looking for a spa day that's truly special, this is it. Whether you're celebrating something big or just need a serious reset, Tomoko delivers.

Management had reached out to me after my first experience and provided clarification as to why my couples' experience was different from other reviewers, mainly being new health codes (totally understandable). I also had the chance to revisit the spa and Noah is still such an amazing, thorough masseuse. Highly recommend! I really appreciate how communicative and accommodating the staff have been.

The massage, service, food, and overall vibes were absolutely immaculate. The staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel welcome and completely at ease.

This place is insane!! Immediately as you walk in the door, you transported into another world. Tomoko is an experience, not just a massage. You are welcomed with slippers, calmed by the dim lighting and music, and assigned your own suite with a couch and shower. The massage is amazing and personalized to your needs. Add ons include a foot soak, bath, couple's experience, and in-suite sushi. After the massage, they give you delicious ginger tea in your room. Then, you are lead into a cozy lounge area and given more tea, treats, and a goodie bag to-go. Definitely plan on reserving extra time after your massage to enjoy this lounge area. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and helpful. Be prepared that it is pricey, but it is worth it for a special occasion!

    Serene waiting area.

A very pleasant experience w/ the cutest little touches. I took my sister here for her bday and we both had a lovely time. You just feel so relaxed and taken care of once you arrive. I chose the Hinoki package which was so divine! When you fill out your liability waiver, you can circle and specify which areas to focus on, how much pressure you'd like, etc. We started with a 15 minute foot massage/scrub, was served some ginger tea and then got ready for our massages. My masseuse, Rina, checked in throughout my massage to make sure I was satisfied. She was great! Afterwards, they brought us little desserts and some more tea. We had an hour to use to the bath and shower amenities. I have to acknowledge how much I appreciated them making my sister feel special on her birthday. The staff wished her happy birthday multiple times, left little notes, brought us a piece of cake and gifted her something small at the end. The details didn't go unnoticed! So worth it, esp if you're celebrating something/someone special. They now have an automated system when you call in, so if you need the gate lifted for the parking lot next door, you may have to run in to let them know - otherwise, it's metered street parking.

    Last treat before we left!

The couples Japanese 120 experience was wonderful! They do a good job of making you forget the outside world. Lots of snacks. Cookies, water and tea. The massage was great. We had Apple and Kwan. I asked for a strong massage from Apple and I got that. The bath was relaxing. They used a lot of products with Sake. Oil rub and in the bath. Sushi was good! Just the right amount. Dessert was yummy. And we got a pair of chopsticks and a fan to take home. This was definitely a splurge and well worth it.

I have never been to a Japanese spa, but I know a lot about Japanese traditions. As soon as I stepped through the door of this cozy establishment in Beverly Hills, I completely forgot I was in Los Angeles and was fully immersed in the atmosphere of the Land of the Rising Sun. From the warm hospitality to the soothing massage, and culminating in the tea and sushi ceremony, everything made me feel nothing less than an emperor in this life. Thank you so much for such incredible hospitality and for an experience in one of the most luxurious places!

Wow is all I can say. From the moment you step inside, you're immediately taken care of. My boss paid for my massage (shout to her!) and I'm sooo thankful she did. Everyone was super accommodating, I didn't have to wait long and the waiting area was super relaxing in itself. The massage was amazing. Like so good. I had no words at the end, I was super relaxed and definitely needed that. The atmosphere, music, and overall service was superb! The tea at the end was actually delish and they give you little chocolates at the end. Loved it and I'll def be going back!

Ask the Community - Tomoko Japanese Spa

Do you do facial here as well?

    Yes.

Does this spa offer prenatal massages?

Yes. My fiance had one and loved it.

For a couples massage package, can two people fit comfortably in the bath tub?

Basically for 2 people. We are looking forward to welcoming you soon!

Does anyone have personal recommendation on masseuses? Thanks so much!

Do they have a cooked sushi - food option? My husband and I do not eat raw sushi.

They were great with our food requests. Just let them know and I'm sure they'll accommodate you.

Which couples treatment comes with dinner and how much does it cost?

A piece of chocolate, some tea and a few pieces of sushi.... you call this dinner?!

How much tip should you leave for a couple massage?

Typically, the rule of thumb for a spa service is 20%.

Can anyone provide the breakdown on how much to expect to pay per person? Been up and down this yelp page and havent got a clue

Depends on the package you choose ( bath tub vs no tub, food vs no food, duration ) My husband and i usually spend $460-500 for two people

How much is the couples spa?

There are different packages for their couples massages. I would check out their website for more information. It has a breakdown of what is offered along with the price.

    Should I remove my makeup?

I would, with any massage your face is sitting on a pillow and will get smudged.

Are we able to choose the gender of our massage therapist?

    Yes.

Are couples allowed to take a bath in the tub together?

    Yes

Is gratuity included in the price of the treatment?

No it is not. But they're pretty good about separating out just the service part -- massage for us -- and not include other items like food, etc. that you order.

My husband and I came to Ole Henriksen Face/Body Spa to celebrate our wedding, and I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. We were being treated by a friend as a wedding gift so we had a specific budget to work within, and I had absolutely no idea which treatments to choose or what would make the most sense for us. Before our visit, I called and spoke with Carla, who was incredibly patient and helpful. She walked me through all of the services they offer, answered every question I had, and gave us amazing recommendations without making me feel rushed or pressured. When we arrived, Samantha checked us in and happened to overhear my husband mention to me that he's always wanted to try red light therapy. She immediately offered us both a complimentary 10-minute session. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and only the beginning of how special everyone made our day feel!! My husband had his massage with Nadia and said he has never felt better after a massage. She appreciated his direction and tailored the entire tx to exactly what his body needed rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. He cannot stop talking about how amazing he feels!! I had my cucumber and honey body cocktail with Melissa, and she was an absolute angel. She was so warm and sweet, and the tx itself was incredible!!! From the moment she introduced herself I could tell she's not only exceptional at what she does, but genuinely cares about creating a wonderful experience. When I mentioned that we were celebrating our wedding, she completely surprised us by arranging a complimentary 45-minute couples Moroccan bath after our individual treatments. Blanca, the bath attendant, had everything beautifully set up for us in a private room with ambient red lighting, two huge tubs filled with essential oils and jets, full glasses of champagne, tea, and snacks. It was romantic, luxurious, and so so thoughtful. Just the perfect way to relax together and *soak* in this new chapter of our lives. Every single person we interacted with made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Everyone seemed genuinely excited to make our experience special, and it was overwhelmingly beyond anything we could have hoped. We can't wait to come back!!!

The masseuse went on top of my back on all fours lol. I started laughing when she did that, she started to giggle too. I told my husband she was so petite I didn't mind it. The spa areas were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I didn't bring a bathing suit, so I couldn't use the co-ed area which looked so peaceful and relaxing. But, I eventually got comfortable and enjoyed the hot tubs. The women's are that had the clay room, salt room, and sauna required robes. That area was so relaxing. The clay area was my favorite.

When you pull up to the valet, you'll first see a large tacky wax museum type of Marilyn Munroe statue. You are directed through an odd maze past the restaurant hostess desk to the elevator to the spa. Looked almost like a service elevator but apparently that was the only elevator to the spa & outdoor pool. The spa reception desk is small. The women's locker room was shockingly dated and the deferred maintenance was mind boggling. Why does the corporate office hate this property? No love from management to update or at least maintain? How is this place the Beverly Hills Four Seasons?? Perhaps decades ago, this lived up to the brand but something's wrong. The small locker room had a popcorn ceiling, a small steam room & sauna. Two small showers, dressing room & restroom. Dated vanity table. The waiting room was essentially a walkway with chairs, tea and some basic snacks. The small outdoor lap pool was mediocre with faded coralish cushions on the lounge chairs. A small outdoor gym with a canvas type top (the kind that shows all the dirt from underneath when you look up to the canvas ceiling) and limited machines. Decadence Achieved: The Spa at Four Seasons Westlake Village…read moreEvery now and then, life demands indulgence. Not the polite kind--the full, no-apologies, lean-back-and-exhale kind. The spa at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village understands this assignment perfectly. From the moment you step inside, the world slows down. The space is expansive, serene, and thoughtfully designed to make you forget responsibilities exist. This is a non-coed spa, which means uninterrupted relaxation and a genuinely tranquil atmosphere--no awkward shuffling, no distractions, just peace. The amenities are where things get deliciously excessive. Steam rooms and saunas that melt stress on contact. Jacuzzis that feel like they were engineered specifically for sore muscles and tired souls. And the showers--my goodness--the water pressure is so powerful it could make Niagara Falls feel a little insecure. Equal parts refreshing and borderline therapeutic assault in the best possible way. Everything feels intentional, luxurious, and generous. There's room to breathe, room to linger, and room to fully sink into the experience without feeling rushed or crowded. This is not a "pop in and pop out" spa. This is a stay awhile, you've earned it kind of place. The spa at Four Seasons Westlake Village doesn't just offer relaxation--it delivers indulgence with confidence. If you're craving an experience that feels restorative, decadent, and deeply satisfying, this spa doesn't miss. Five stars, no restraint, and absolutely worth surrendering an entire afternoon to.
