We love a good dive bar... and this is perfect. A little hard to find and off the beaten path. But we had oysters Bienville...very tasty. Peel and eat shrimp... very fun lunch. Loved the waitress (although I did not get her name) but she was very helpful. It was a true Florida dive bar... indoor and outdoor tables ..I did see an eagles nest just across the street.

We have been here many times and while all of our experiences have been great, last night's visit was by far the best. We split a 1/2# hot peel 'em Old Bay shrimp, as well as the Feta Whip and a side salad with Greek dressing. FANTASTIC. Seriously, do yourself a favor and try them... you'll want to come back for more. :) Sangria on tap was great and Mom, of course, loved her Pinot. Heads up - they only serve beer, wine or canned hard seltzers, no liquor for cocktails. Servers were very friendly and helpful, but maybe spread a little thin when it got busy. Wide open & airy atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating. Super laid back... come here and expect to just chill out & enjoy!!!

Wanted to try something different for a quick lunch and the Nauti Oar seemed to call our name. Nice little bar/grill off of Rt19, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Our server, Michelle, was most pleasant as she tended to the bar and tables for a nice lunch crowd. Had a dozen oysters that were fresh and cold, along with a shrimp po-boy and cold pint of beer. Service was great! Beer selection was loaded with drafts, and cold pints. The reason for 4 star vs 5 was that my shrimp po-boy was cold steamed shrimp vs the normal fried. They were very good, but expected a more New Orleans flair since some of the other items leaned in that direction. We will return and try another selection. As we waited, the salads looked fantastic. The shrimp was large and firm, and the sides of potato salad and macaroni salad were both very good. Price for two for lunch with 3 beers and a dozen oysters -$61.

Let's be clear. This place is a BAR with a small restaurant. It's a local hangout with lots of choices for alcoholic beverages, and quite a few good food choices. But nothing is fried. It's not on the river, but a stone's throw from it, with boats on trailers in the parking area. Not the most attractive view. Speaking of parking, that's a hit or miss situation, parking in between those boats on trailers. And the place is packed with happy, satisfied customers! So we stayed, and sat outside. We tried four different entrees and they were all good - even if not traditional. Husband had a Cuban, with corn on the cob. He asked for no tomato, or pickle, but didn't see the lettuce listed on the menu. It's his first Cuban with lettuce. He tried to take it off, but it was melted into the cheese. Still, he really liked his sandwich. Next time, though, he'll ask for no lettuce. I had the club sandwich - grilled rye bread (which isn't my favorite, but it was good) with lots of ham and turkey & a side of seafood salad that was a little dry. One friend had the Cali bowl with ahi tuna - on greens instead of rice (watching her carbs). She enjoyed every bite. Her husband had the fish tacos and gumbo. He did not leave one bite behind. We all tasted his Pabst Blue Ribbon coffee/beer. Tasted just like a YooHoo! I could drink more than one. But I abstained this time. I'm watching my carbs, too! Our waitress was accommodating and friendly. She was awesome! Sitting outside was pleasant, even if it was hot. But it was WAY too loud inside, and inside was more open air than air conditioned. I did say this is more of a bar than restaurant, didn't I? We'll probably be back for the fantastic service and the food. They have lots of other things to try. And I'll probably get that Pabst Blue Ribbon coffee/beer! Yum!

After a day at the springs my husband and I were looking for a local place along our ride back home down US 19 and boy am I glad I found this place! Thanks to my trusty fellow yelpers' reviews we picked this place. It was exactly what we were looking for. A nice, chill restaurant with outdoor seating. We were greeted quickly and sat where we wanted. Our waitress was nice, knowledgeable and patient. Our food came out pretty quickly which was perfect because we had worked up quite the appetite! The food was seasoned to perfection and tasted soooo fresh. We feasted like a king & queen! Definitely a hole in the wall hidden gem that would've been overlooked had I not checked yelp!

Came here after seeing on their Facebook page they had 1lb crab legs for $26.99. The first time we went here we were lucky they had crab legs. It's only as a special because they only serve fresh! They were delicious! They just went through new ownership but you wouldn't notice. Everything is still the same. We had great service and although it was blazing hot outside they do their best with a ton of fans to try and keep it bearable. It's a local watering hole that happens to have great food and staff. The people that complain on here about the establishment not having fried food should have checked the menu if that is such a big deal to them. One of these days when the weather cools off I'm looking forward to sitting at one of the back tables over looking the canal. For now we will continue to sit at the bar.

Nice local bar and restaurant. The servers have consistently been friendly with each visit. There is indoor and outdoor seating; however, be aware there is no air conditioning. They try to keep it cool with all the fans they can muster but it is still warm on a hot summer day. Their seafood is fresh and good! Had 1lb crab legs tonight, cooked and seasoned perfectly with a garlic butter. The price was extremely fair at $27. Highly recommend this place for the Port Richey travelers.

Surprisingly good. I would call it water adjacent. You can see the water/river, but there's boat parking in front so it's not a direct view but still nice. Got fish dip which was a great portion and tasty and some Surfsides. Bartender was nice and attentive. Reasonably priced. Will come back again.

Thé service was outstanding. Our waitress made great suggestions. I enjoyed my poke bowl it reminded me of the bowls we tried from the food truck on the beach in Maui. We also enjoyed the garlic and butter muscles. My son devoured those so quickly, I didn't get a picture. We will revisit soon. Hopefully we will get a seat outside facing the water next time.

No problem. We didn't mind when they came out. After 30 minutes, my husband's clam chowder finally arrived. It was delicious, but there was no reason for a cup of chowder to take 30 minutes. Chowder has to be made in advance. Thirty minutes after that, so an hour after we originally ordered, someone (the owner? another server? I don't know who.) said our food would be up soon. Our original server then came over to apologize and say that they hadn't even started our oysters, crab legs, or the Grouper platter at all. An hour later and they hadn't even started cooking?! It wasn't even that crowded. Surely shucking a dozen oysters doesn't take an hour?! We asked our server to cancel everything. We paid for the chowder, gave her a very generous tip for her trouble, and left. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was to have to leave hungry. Get it together Crab Shack! That's ridiculous.

Making reservations on open table as quick and efficient. When we arrived, our tables put together and ready for us and we were sat immediately. A decent menu with good variety and fair pricing. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. My husband had the stacked turkey club sandwich and he thought it was delicious. I had the tuna poke nachos and the tuna was very good but the wonton nacho chips were stale tasting. I don't know if they were just left out for too long or if they were over fried, but that would be my only complaint. We chose to dine outside and watch the beautiful sunset with the cool breeze, brushing our faces while we sipped on our cocktails and enjoyed lively discussion. Unfortunately, our dining experience didn't quite live up to the recommendations. We ordered appetizers and entrees at the same time, but our food took about 45 minutes to arrive, and our appetizers didn't come out until the exact same time as our entrees. Since we had ordered simple appetizers like chips and queso and ceviche, it was a little disappointing that they weren't served first. When I asked about it, I was told the kitchen was backed up. Our server was pleasant, but she wasn't very attentive throughout the meal. There were a few times we had to get up and find her just to get drink refills or an update on our food. I completely understand that restaurants can have off days, and even the people I was dining with--who visit often and usually rave about this place--mentioned that this experience was out of the ordinary. As for the food, the ceviche wasn't my favorite, and my shrimp tacos were a bit over-fried. Overall, I left feeling disappointed, especially considering how highly the restaurant had been recommended. That said, the location and atmosphere are absolutely beautiful, and based on how much the locals seem to love it, I'm hoping this was just an off day rather than the norm.
