This place made me feel like I either got an STD by just walking in or got covid. The brunette bartender without glasses helped us. They didn't seem to have much options according to her so we got 2 coronas. I still don't know how much each beer is because my husband gave her a $20 and she never gave him change. Real cute! BARTENDERS DONT WERE MASKS HERE! I really *loved this bar until I a few weeks ago. I was shocked to see none of the bartenders wearing masks during this pandemic. When I asked what their policy on mask wearing was, I was given attitude by the female bartender. I promptly left and went to a bar that DID require masks. Enjoyed my first visit to the Nerd. I read some of the reviews and decided to try it for myself. Bartender, Megan, was attentive and friendly. The free gaming is definitely a plus to pass time while having some drinks with friends. This place is the place to be. Everyone complains that Vegas I do expensive or that they don't feel that family bar vibe. This place lets u play all their games for free as long as u r drinking!!!! Bartenders were lackadaisically moving around and didn't seem to notice the crowd of people waiting to order drinks. $37 for a pitcher of Bud Light and cash only - probably due to them scheming/cheating their customers and the government. Stay away from this tourist trap! They will kick you out if you bring drinks from outside inside. This isn't a good place for casual, laid-back locals to unwind and relax. There is a wrestling ring here that they don't even allow you to use, I've heard stories of people being removed from here for entering the ring. There are countless better places for locals to have fun and hang out without feeling like we're going to be kicked out for having fun. read more

Got denied service for caring a gun legally. Offer to hand over my magazine, even took the gun apart and put in my wife's bag and still offered up my magazine. Was told they don't want guns and drunk people. And I get that. But they do event with axe hole where you can drink and thrown axes, knives, spears etc. read more

Went there yesterday for my birthday, it was pretty interesting on first glance to walk in and kind of look around. It was kind of poppin for a weekday but that was okay. We were looking to bowl and find someone to talk to about it. We get over there and there's a girl just sitting on her phone and almost didn't acknowledge up so I called out to her to see what we can do and she said we had to wait for the other guy. He comes up and is pretty eccentric to say the least, and we pay for one game , 4 people, and our shoes. The game continued to shut down on us and leaving us pretty frustrated. With that being said I asked the guy for our money back which he didn't seem to give damn on trying to resolve the issue and we were on our way. I can say I am glad at least we got our money back but this isn't somewhere I would ever recommend to someone. read more

Great place off of Fremont street to chill out. Ambiance is great, and the bowling is awesome. Drinks as well were very well made.

Overall, this place is fun and a great atmosphere. I love that they don't charge for any of the games or bowling. The only games that you do have to pay for are the arcade games although none of them worked when we tried them. Hopefully they're fixed by now. Their drinks are pretty overpriced but I guess it makes up for the gaming being free. They have specialty drinks that are named after characters, games, etc. The specialty drinks I had from them were really good! When it comes to service, the bartenders are nice but the service is kinda slow. They have comics all over the walls in the men's bathroom which is fun! They have a lot of interesting things going on in this place and I think it's a great hangout spot. There's a lot of space and a lot of things to do - a lot more than other typical bars offer. They have a sign that says they validate parking so I went to my car and got my ticket and the blonde bartender says "we don't do that anymore." I say maybe there shouldn't still be a sign that says they validate parking. She says she will let her manager know. False advertising for sure. The night before, I got two Blue Moon drafts and was told the price before tip was $16. Are you serious? The guy next to me paid $6.50 for his cocktail but a Blue Moon is $8. People said it's cause he is in costume and gets a discount. My girlfriend had a voucher for a free shot if you buy a cocktail and the bartender took the ticket and we got nothing. She said she didn't think her drink was made with alcohol. Tonight we came in and I made sure to ask prices beforehand and got a well drink for $7 before tip to start with. I'm not kidding when I say it was absolute watery trash. I drank it quickly and got no buzz whatsoever. I went to a store outside and got some wine because this place sucks. I would have spent another $20 or so. I'm not rich but I was prepared to spend a little bit. My friends were also very unimpressed with the drinks so I gave them my wine. Haha I came dressed up in costume because you apparently get perks for dressing up and was told "we don't do that anymore." I was told the previous night that they did. Many of the games don't even work. The bowling ball cut my finger cause it was all chipped. There are stains everywhere and some off the pool tables are missing balls. The bathroom also seems to smell like sewage two nights in a row. The same beer was spilled all over the floor for 2 hours from someone's messy beer pong game. Someone could have easily slipped and sued. I gave this place a chance two nights in a row cause I like the idea but honestly it's just trash and destined to fail. read more

I'm not the one to give negative reviews. But I've given this place the benefit of the doubt too many times. It's time for an actual change. I ordered two Red Bull vodkas which were $26. Absolutely insane but i understand there's no cover and this place obviously needs the money. The bartender poured two different kinds of vodkas into the cups, the first was a cheap bottom shelf brand and the second Tito's for some reason because she ran out of the cheap one. The glass had smudges alll over it as if it weren't cleaned. It's always felt unfinished inside but I've realized it'll never feel "finished". Always a mess. The bar always looks like someone's messy kitchen counter. I'm sick of making excuses for this place. Too much wasted potential. Never had anyone pour two different kinds of the same liquor in my cup just because they ran out. Lmao this place is just a joke. An expensive joke at that. read more

Free drinks in a pop culture arcade bar with a giant rideable mechanical wiener to lure in unsuspecting travelers will be a great start to a night out. Had an absolute blast. Wish the staff was more helpful with the arcade system and issues/questions about it. It seemed like they were like "idk not my job" about it which doesn't make the vendor look bad. My bf and I loved this place. We were in town for an event and were just walking around seeking shelter from the heat when we saw this place. The bartender was just opening up for the day so we were pretty much the only ones in there for a while. There were about 3 people working and they were all really nice and chatty. You buy a drink and all the activities are free. Theyve got bowling, all the console games you can think of, a few classic arcade, and some table top games like jenga. We spent about 2 hours here bowling, playing classic nintendo, and xbox. We probably would have spent more time here if we didnt already have an event to get to. This would be a great place to come to with a larger group. Drink prices were reasonable for the area, especially considering all there is to do inside the bar. Don't waste your time. They claim to have pool tables (they don't anymore), and from all the bowling lanes only two are working (and of course those are always taken). Without these " freebies " this is just a bar with very questionable dirty furniture and low quality drinks (seriously, I tried their "recipes" and I'm shocked how bad they are). To be specific, one of their signature cocktails tastes like Hi-C with a tiny bit of alcohol in it, oh, and it's served in a plastic cup Beer drinkers are lucky enough to have their beverage served in a dirty glass, which is even worse.
