Noble House serves better than average hibachi. The meal starts with soup and salad as usual. Unlike some places the soup here was full of flavor. The fried rice was delicious! The steak, shrimp and veggies cooked perfectly . The service was very attentive and our chef was very entertaining. He even did this thing where he threw fire at the onion volcano! Never saw that before. The restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but the inside has dark wood and there are little hut roofs over the dining tables giving it a certain South Pacific ambiance. Hands down my favorite takeout on cape cod. The staff is amazing, always smiling, and they genuinely care for their customers. Sushi is top tier for the cost, especially being on Cape. The food was good. And we liked how the chef was communicting and cooking in front of us. He was very friendly. He did a great job! But the waitress wasn't so friendly. And what we mostly didn't like was that we didn't finish our meals and drinks ( It's been less than an hour after we came) and the waitress brought for us boxes(even we didn't ask her) and took away the plates( one of our friends even didn't finish his meal0 like showing that we need to rush. My family and I have been regulars at the Noble House for years and have always thought the food, service, and value were exceptional. Tonight's experience compelled me to write a review as the service far exceeded my expectations. I placed an order for takeout sushi, all of which was prepared beautifully and was, as always, very fresh. When I got home I realized I had forgotten to order two rolls for my daughter who also happened to be the birthday girl (mom fail). I called and explained my error and they very quickly put it together and even added a little extra. Everything was done so graciously and in no time, my daughter was enjoying her favorite avocado rolls of all time (her words). I highly recommend the Noble House whether you're dining in for sushi or a fun evening of hibachi or taking out. We will continue to be regulars for sure! read more

I'm a hibachi grill skeptic. Every one I have been to, left me less than satisfied. Our grill chef was Carlos. Although we got there kind of late, he was still full of energy, talent and laughs! The food prepared was as expected. I had the filet and scallops. The filet was good but the scallops were super fresh and off the hook. My date had the chicken and shrimp. The shrimp was good but the chicken and veggies were a bit over cooked. All in all, we had a good experience and enjoyed sharing our table with one other couple on the opposite side of us (6' apart). The salad was so so and so was the miso soup. I'd give the food 3 stars but we really enjoyed the entertainment. Getting saki squirted in your mouth from across the table can actually be quite fun ;) read more

Once seated, we were rushed down and given soup and salad immediately and waited almost an hour for the hibatchi chef to come to the table. It was awful. This turned into a 4 hour excursion. Food is good but service, organization and time management are not strong suits. Will not return. Nobody checked in once or apologized for the hour long cooking delay. From the outside and even the entrance it doesn't look like much. Once inside though it's nice and they do a really great job with the hibachi. It's definitely pricey but, your paying for the show and the food.fried rice is an up charge just FYI. We didn't know they so that was kind of a surprise at the end since all they said was do you want white rice or fried? I came to eat for a work function and I tried to order the hibachi filet migon, but I wanted extra filet migon on top of what they already give you.. and she could not comprehend what I was saying and just kept arguing with me about it and I said it's fine, I usually sit at a table, and not do the show and order from the kitchen menu and they have an option on their "kitchen menu" to have extra steak.. so I told her not to worry about it I'll just have the regular amount.. and I thought that was the end of it... No. she comes back out during the show to argue about it again. And then I get so heated that this woman won't leave me alone that I walk out of the restaurant for a second, and then end up coming back in to eat my food and she comes for a THIRD time to argue with me about it and spits on me while I'm eating because she was so close to my face and my plate.. it was completely unprofessional of her and a complete embarrassment that this happened in front of people I work with. read more

My wife & I made reservations for dinner last night for our 2nd visit in 2 weeks. On the first visit we sat a table with 2 other couples and enjoyed the company as well as our tepanyani chef! Last night, which was our mutual birthday - born same day, different years - we were brought to a table near the rear of the restaurant where no one else was seated. We assumed that as people came in we would have company for our meal. This did not happen however. We remained a table of 2. We speculated that the young chef was being sent a message for some offense, arriving late or not showing up on a previous evening. He did a great job in spite of the overhead exhaust hood not pulling up the smoke very well. The food: tenderloin & shrimp, noodles, & vegetables were all prepared well and tasted great. The salad was not drained properly after rinsing and was watery at the bottom of the bowl which made an otherwise delicious ginger dressing watery. The soup was not as hot or tasty as we remember from our visit last week. Our drink was excellent! Not too strong or weak. I guess my one takeaway from our visit last night, is to avoid Tuesdays, and don't come here on a birthday night - unless it is a child's birthday. No one asked us on either "Google Assistant" (which was useless! I ended up calling the restaurant myself after trying to make the reservation online) or at the restaurant were we celebrating a special occasion? Ah, Noble House. This is the only sushi available easily down here so I keep going back but I don't really know why. Service is never, ever good. It's painfully slow and unfriendly.. Everything is extremely over priced for the quality, and the place smells terribly, like mold or something. Friends and I decided to do some fun hibachi last week. It was not very fun. We had to wait forever for the Hibachi chef to come out and when he did he was not friendly what so ever. Forgot my rice, since I did not get fried rice because it is almost a $2 up charge. A little ridiculous.. most Hibachi places come with fried rice included since prices for Hibachi are so high. Most places also come with a dessert like green tea ice cream or something and you also don't get that here. The chef also did not even smile or barely interact with us, you could tell he did not want to be there. The table next to us was laughing and having fun and the chef gave each of them a sake shot.. where was ours!? We were drinking, getting Hibachi AND sushi, spending quite a lot of money, and we didn't get the complimentary sake shot at the Hibachi table. All around, disappointing. I never particularly like their sushi, but again, it's literally my only option close by, so what's a girl to do? read more

Don't judge a book by its cover and in this case the Noble House. We ate there tonight and were not disappointed. We all (5 of us) ordered the Hibachi dinners and were happy with our dishes. The cook was incredible with my shy 8 year old. They kept the parties coming in as separate as they could with the space they had as well as paper throw away menus. Coming across sounding condescending is the last thing I'm aiming for, but I do think Noble House is a great "special occasion" spot for those who don't have many other options. It's a basic hibachi-type show, well-done, but not anything special. After orders are taken, if you're having hibachi items, that is, the chef comes out and throws some egg on the grill. That will be used for those who opt for the fried rice with dinner (surcharge). He then tosses pieces into diners' mouths (if they are successful in catching)...what fun! The kids thought it was hilarious at least. The knife-work, tossing, etc. is impressive...definitely nothing you should try at home. There's also a portion for grown-ups where they squirt some sake into your mouth. Of course, the onion volcano and it's flame-up is the most dramatic part. of the show. The food was quite good. The shrimp were fresh and well-cooked. The scallops were excellent. I was a bit disappointed with the vegetable option, as it was mostly onions and some peppers. I did get tofu added, thank goodness, because it would have been quite bland without those on the side. Also, $17 is a heck of a lot to pay for a pile of grilled onions, even if they were preceded by miso soup and a small salad. Blah. There were some options for kids, though the ones we were with wanted a veggie only choice, and there wasn't one. The chef said he could do it for them, but we ended up getting charged the full adult veg price. I'm sure they must have made the full portion, but they should have said they couldn't do a kids portion of veg at a kids portion price. Drinks were good and stout. Other staff was pleasant. All in all, we had a good time. Our family from Mashpee, and their kids, really enjoyed themselves, and we were happy to share that with them, even if it meant an overpriced and not so spectacular evening outing. We were in early on a Saturday and were seated promptly. Our chef was also available quickly, so we were off to a very good start. The show was typical of a hibachi grill, although the chef attempted to throw fried egg into each person at the table's mouth, so that wasdifferent for me. The salad was, much like the show, hibachi typical. The fried rice was very good and the shrimp appetizer was plentiful. We had a few non-shrimp eaters at out table so the chef gave the extras to a couple of us that were ready for more. My wife had good sushi rolls and my daughter downed some shasimi before the main course was grilled up. I had the filet steak and chicken. The filet was excellent and the chicken was OK. The kids had the sirloin and seemed to like it. My wife ordered just the chicken due to her oil allergy and playing it a little bit cautious, and she really seemed to find it only OK. The price was right, the inside of the restaurant was much nicer than the curb appeal, and we really enjoyed the pace of the meal. An enjoyable Saturday night dinner on the cape. We are still trying to figure out where our eight year old daughter put all that food! read more

This place is alright. I've never seen it busy here which might be an indication of something... The sushi is pretty standard, but it's relatively inexpensive compared to other places around. They have a lot of good sushi combos that are a good value if you're looking for some sushi to fill you up. I usually get the combo that has 3 basic rolls for $21. I've also had their habachi, which was pretty good. The chef was very entertaining. They have good combos on their habachi menu that comes with soup and salad. I went with the filet. It was cooked just right and the veggies and sides that the chef made were yummy. read more
