Fraudulent business practices, menu prices are completely different on the final bill. I asked the guy behind the counter if this was because I could pay in cash to reflect the menu prices and he said no, it's the same either way. So I showed him how all items were up charged (plus tax & 20% tip). He asked his co worker who said the menu just hasn't been updated in a while to show the real prices. I am going to make it my project to contact the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General and report this deceptive trade practice. The CARD division handles deceptive pricing complaints. The place is packed day & night all summer and every single check is higher than it should be. Misleading at best and hopefully a state audit will show fraud. Plus the food was mediocre at best. Wow! The spicy Pad Thai with chicken was delicious, with an outstanding blend of flavors and wonderful presentation. We also ordered the Summer Shrimp roll; OMG, the sushi was delicious - I actually finished it and ordered a second one. It's probably the best sushi I've ever eaten! Parking is a challenge; we got lucky and found a spot. It's very busy with a lot of foot traffic. Be very careful while driving and watch for pedestrians, as they jaywalk - they literally walk in front of your car. The decor has a creative energy, with indoor and outdoor seating, featuring jungle elements and a vibrant mural of three monkeys. The star of this place is the food, and the service was exceptional. Our waitress was super friendly, elevating customer service to an art form. Food is served with chopsticks, but if you don't know how to use them, you can dine without worry, knowing the staff will accommodate requests for alternative silverware. I highly recommend it! I'm a chef so I know the difference between a home made sauce and a cheap store bought one.. there's one thing that makes me really angry when eating out, and that is when they over charge you for bad food ?and try to make up for it by filling your plate with cheap rice noodles. It's disappointing because the food is genuinely great, and the atmosphere is such a fun, unique vibe. The service, however, has been consistently lacking every time we've visited. We often wait a long time for our food, and there seems to be a lot of miscommunication between the kitchen and the front of house. I know many of the staff are young, and I try to give them grace, but after several visits over the past few years, the experience has remained the same. I really want this place to succeed because it has so much potential. Unfriendly waitress and half of the tables food came out 25 minutes after the first half of food came. I got the salmon poke bowl which was decent but had a very small portion of fish. The most disappointing was the ramen soup. Truly flavorless. It's like someone made Maruchan WITHOUT the seasoning packet. Watery drinks. My husband and I had a lovely lunch out (kids with grandparents). I tried the Monkey Mai-Tai and I would recommend it. There's a limited menu but both my husband and I found items we liked. This is a long overdue review. 3 Monkeys is one of my favorite places for many reasons. The host and service staff are always so welcoming and attentive. The food is consistently delicious with very generous portions (I almost wish I could get a half portion of my favorite Mongolian noodles so I could order more items!--my other favorites are the crab rangoons and Captain Crunch Roll!). I love sitting outside, but also able to see into the open-air indoor space. This is what I should have written long ago. I wanted to be sure to share now because this week after a tough day my mom and I came in and made a big ask. (Not something we typically would be bold to do. We know how hard everyone on the Cape is working especially now.) We were more than kindly accomodated by the manager who I believe is a owner. We had an outstanding experience at 3 Monkeys on Friday evening. No reservations and we arrived just after 7:00. Happily we were seated in just a few minutes. Our seats were at a high-top in the bar area. A bit noisier and more lively than we wanted but not unbearable. We had the short rib bao which were very tasty. We shared the Mongolian Pan-Fried Noodles with Fried Chicken which was delicious. And we added the Captain Crunch Roll which was also very good. The kitchen brought us a shrimp tempura roll by mistake which was promptly replaced with the correct Captain Crunch. The tempura roll was left for us to enjoy but it was not nearly as good as the other food we were served. Added a glass of white wine for each of us and truly enjoyed the experience. I've stayed at the resort right next door for years and tonight was my first time trying this place. It's always super busy which is a good sign. They have indoor and outdoor seating, we opted for indoor as it was a bit chilly outside. The inside is vibrant with cool paintings and the music is fun. Our server, Molly, was super nice and helpful answering questions. I started with the Last Airbender cocktail which was yummy and refreshing. We ordered the edamame to start and decided to split the garlic and egg fried rice, we were told it was a big portion and enough to split and it definitely was. It was more than enough, it was delicious though. Hubby got the tails in the air and the salmon and cucumber roll and said both were excellent. For my main roll, I got the serpent roll, very delicious; just note, it's on their menu when you're there but doesn't show up on their site. All the food came out at once but it all came out very fast. We were impressed and will be back! read more

This place jumps in the summer and has great cafe-spilling-onto-sidewalk-open-air vibe. Alone on a rainy Sunday in late September and hungry (as I had not had lunch), I said why not finally try? It was a cold afternoon, but I sat at the empty bar and appreciated the wonky wall paintings and the raw Cape air. Menu, both food and drink, is eclectic with what seems an interesting Japanese goes tropical theme. But I found myself a bit disappointed in the Bhodi roll--where was the crab--and the thick radish slices should be much thinner in MHO. Where was the pork in the slightly over fried gyoza? I wanted to love both, but they were just ok. My Japanese whiskey drink with umbrella was good and different. Young bartender provided friendly service. I do think this is a creative addition to Harwich Port that is so lively all summer long. I like the fun theme here. But I've had a lot of great Japanese food over the years, and can't say the two plates I had rocked it. Yet I think the summer vibe here does rock it. read more

Came here right after they opened on a Wednesday. We were sat immediately and the service was great. I love poke so I ordered their bowl minus any cucumber. It was delicious! There was enough sauce that I didn't even need to use soy sauce. My boyfriend said his roll was very good as well. They originally said it would be over an hour, so we posted up by the bar with a drink. The hostesses really worked to get people seated- and we were seated much earlier than anticipated! I had a delicious Pina colada. We got the fried goyza for an app and they were great. My husband ordered the ramen- which the broth was very flavorful and well done. We have lived here for a long time and finally decided to try this place. I would give it less than zero stars if I could. First, we wanted to sit inside but the disco music was so loud and obnoxious we opted for a table outside. No, we are not old people. Drinks were served in plastic cups and all food was served on paper plates. Really? The attempt at "sushi" is beyond pathetic. I'm not sure what kind of rice they use, but it is NOT sushi rice and had the consistency of oatmeal. Mushy oatmeal. My tempura shrimp roll will probably stay in my stomach like a brick for a week. The wasabi was hard. Translation: old. The service was barely tolerable. I have no idea why so many people go to this restaurant. Must be a tourist thing. Run don't walk from this place.
