Banana bread old fashioned - IG @bougiefoodieboi
    Kyle W.

After being in Seattle for over 4 years, I had periods of time where I felt I ran out of bars to go to since I go to different bars often. However, I discovered this place recently from an online list with high regards, so we decided to check it out on a Saturday night. As expected, it was fairly busy, but there were plenty of seating. If you want more "prime" spots like the couches upstairs or the window-facing side-by-side table, expect to wait a bit while enjoying your drink in another table. This place is more like a typical bar, where you order at the counter, open/close the tab as needed, and they prepare your drink in front of you and you wait for the drinks to be ready. It is kind of self-serve otherwise, but some employees will sporadically clean up tables of previous customers. We tried the Poseidon's Punch, Banana Bread Old Fashioned, Red Sky in Mexico, and Phuket! Let's Drink. Poseidon's Punch tastes some Greek yogurt and spirulina, perfect for those that want a more "healthy" drink. The banana bread old fashioned is quite strong and smoky, and it evokes a little hint of banana flavor but not too much. Red sky in Mexico is a smoked mezcal drink with pretty good presentation. You pour the drink to the empty cup they provide you. Phuket! Let's Drink is a spicy drink. I was shocked how spicy it is, to the point I freaked out if I could finish a good fraction of it. It is probably the spiciest drink I have ever tried and this is coming from a person that visited hundreds of bars around the world. Fortunately, we told the bartender about this and they graciously topped the drink off with pineapple juice complimentary, twice, making it still a delicious drink with a twist of tropical. Overall, I enjoy this bar and prices are quite fair for the quality of the drinks

Lovely venue - very coffee house shop vibe. The mix-match of seating/furniture/tables generally works well, the only downside is that there's only one or two tables for more than 3 people which can make it a bit tougher to find seating. The menu looked fantastic and I ended up with the red sky in mexico which was a hickory-smoked mezcal drink which was fantastic. It was so good, I got it again. It was bold, boozy but smooth, and rich. The smoke was additive and flavorful. I also tried the Brittain's Cartel which rather uniquely contained nicotine from the cigar. This was also quite good but not as good as the Red Sky in Mexico. It had a bit of a sharpness to it that lingered but I would've still recommended it. They had someone unrelated to Nook outside selling chicken sandwiches which were unbelievably good - giant and amazing heat flavor

Great craft cocktail haunt. It's a small, cozy, intimate space with a little upstairs seating. Almost a speakeasy vibe, but no secret handshake, password, or hidden entrance. They have a wide variety of tempting drinks on the menu, and the 'tenders are pleasant and know how to mix the elixirs. They keep up well with orders even when the room is full. It's small, so it can fill up fast!

What a cute little gem tucked away in the West Seattle neighborhood! We came by on a Wednesday evening after dinner. It wasn't too crowded and there was street parking nearby but maybe because we got there after the rush? We were here just for drinks, and I was impressed with how creative and fun the drink menu was. I ordered the "Phuket! Let's Drink". Can't wait to come back and try more from their menu next time.

Love this place. The service is top notch and I enjoy that they make a lot of their liqueur in house. It's such a cute vibe here and feels so homey. As always I enjoyed myself here, brought a friend, it was her first time and she loved.

Adorable little cozy neighborhood bar. Fun funky interior. Unique and tasty drinks. We tried a bunch of different drinks and each one was different. Service was great and drinks came quickly. Definitely worth the visit.

Love the decor and drinks here. The staff was super friendly and gave us some great recommendations for drinks from their menu. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and made sure to get 2 or 3 different ones to try them all. They are primarily a cocktail bar so they don't have any draft beers and a limited bottle selection. They have a fun selection of craft cocktails though so you can probably find something for everyone. I grabbed an NA cocktail - the Diamondhead at Dawn. It was delicious and unique. Unfortunately all of their NA options are the same price as any other cocktail, still a fun little neighborhood cocktail bar though.

Stopped in late one night for a drink after getting dinner across the street, and had such a good time!! It's pretty small & cozy inside, but they do have an upstairs loft area where you can sit as well. There was a pretty big menu with many cocktail options and plenty of unique flavor combinations I've never see before! I love the creativity behind their drinks and how the staff get to create their own and have their names listed on the menu. Makes it such a fun experience and more interactive seeing what people come up with!! If you're into craft cocktails this is definitely one place you want to check out. It's very dog friendly, you can bring your dog inside which is always a plus!

    Phuket, let's have a drink!

This super cute and quaint bar is nestled perfectly right off the street! The the ambience really sets the mood and allows you to decompress after a long day of work. Drinks are phenomenal and they're definitely handcrafted to perfection. When you're looking at their menu, you'll quickly realize they take the time to hand pick and house infuse their drinks. Happy I came!

I have been wanting to go to The Nook for months. I check thier insta account to see their weekly specials and they look amazing. Stopped by on a Friday night post midnight (yes this place is open until 2 am) and there were barely 5-7 folks seated. We got comfortable on the 2nd floor in their cozy couch and ordered their specials - banana bread old fashioned, brittains cartel, phuket! Lets drink, negroni azul and nook hot toddy. All the drinks were amazing!! It was fun to watch the bartender make some fancy drinks there. All in all we had an amazing time at The Nook. Highly recommend these folks. I will be a regular for sure.

This is my first time trying this neighborhood quaint cocktail bar. I will preface I haven't written a Yelp review since 2012 and I felt implored to write one solely for this experience. I am so picky about cocktails and went out with five friends. I tried all five of our cocktails and LIKED THEM ALL If you're looking for an Insta worthy, oooooh kinda experiential cocktail, go for the Red Sky. It comes with a bottle with the rosemary smoke inside and you pour it in with the smoke smoothly layering over the beautiful glass. We also loved the Cats Pajamas which is a lovely balance of lavender and rosemary. Another favorite was the banana bread old fashioned that straight up tasted like banana bread! Can't wait to try so many more! My boyfriend says, "I like this place. I feel like a 30 year old, I'm not at the club, we're sitting where we're supposed to be sitting, we're supposed to be here."

The food: expensive for what it is. Long ago dear reader, this Goblin worked in food service. He can spot "ready-made foods" from a mile away. Herein lies our problem dear reader. Do I want a hummus plate for $12-15, that is essentially a disassembled and then reassembled menagerie of pre-made product on a plate? Or how about a cup of some mid-gumbo for $8? As a Goblin I have eaten many old soups out of a dirty cauldron, but Mid-Gumbo tastes like how Jack Harlow must feel waking up and telling himself he got blacker. Concerning the food (and Jack Harlow), it's about more than just lack of seasoning.

But 2/3 times, the brussels sprouts came out as black as my Goblin heart. I like some smoke and char, but it tasted bitter and underwhelming. Chips and Gauc are serviceable, but don't come running. This place made more sense before exorbitant food cost increases across the greater Seattle area writ large.
