Both therapist know exactly what they're doing and care about their clients. I saw many regulars come in with happy smiles to get massaged while there. The establishment is very clean and tidy. This was not just for fun; my husband had seven knee surgeries, and the doctor said it would be good therapy for him, so there is that, too. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I had Deanne, who specializes in Swedish and deep tissue massage (according to her bio on the website)... and let me say she has some STRONG hands. She found all my tension and pain-points and loosened me up. I was honestly a bit sore for days, but in a good way. A great reminder I need to take care of my body post workouts and after long days at the desk... My biggest feedback for them would be to have more info on their website about the pool access and what's offered (towels, robes) and how long we have pool access (it's all day, btw). Before booking, I had to call to get that info; it's be more convenient to add all of that info to their FAQ page. They also allow you to bring snackies, so I brought a fruit, cheese, and tinned fish spread. Also, wondering if they had hot tea service. That's always a nice touch post-massage. I've had an appt for 5pm today booked for a couple of months now, but when I checked in, I was informed that my appt slot was canceled because the therapist didn't show up today. I never received a call or anything, which apparently was a miscommunication between the therapists & their manager. I was sad at first, but Rubye (who checked me in) came to my rescue & offered to take me in after her client. It took me 30 min to get here, plus I didn't have anything to do, so I opted to wait for Rubye. While I was waiting, everyone was so sweet & kind. Kept checking to make sure I was okay, & one of them (a lady) offered me a mimosa & an array of goodies because of the inconvenience caused, even though I was perfectly fine! Btw, the 1.5 hour long wait was TOTALLY worth it! Rubye works wonders. I didn't realize how tense my shoulders were, but she worked them out & they're much better. I got a Groupon for the Pure Bliss package, so I got a facial & a 60 min massage. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep during the massage, & I dreamt that I was falling ... which meant I jerked awake, startling Rubye ): so sorry! Although I understand that was out of there control, what they had total control over is they way they handle the cancellations. Karen, was not only rude to me and would not let me speak, but she was very unapologetic. I had also made reservations to complete my "relaxing stay-cation" at a very expensive hotel, which now I can't cancel. Karen would not even let me speak, it got to the point where I had to ask her to stop talking please, because I was at this point not comfortable using them anymore and requested a refund. The very opposite of a clam, relaxing, hospitable experience....and I never even got to visit the place. However, they way they handle their first impression to their clients probably reflects the experience I would have had this Friday.

I am just sad that this place is not near where I live and that we just went here on vacation. I made a reservation ahead of time for us all via phone and had to put a 50% deposit down to book. Both times I tried calling, they answered right away; no issues with communicating & with questions I had. When we first entered, they had us fill out some forms, which asked us about things like injuries, pregnancy, where we wanted focused areas. I don't believe my masseuse read the form because she asked me before my massage started where I wanted focused areas, but this wasn't a huge issue for me. I was just curious what was the point of asking it on the form if they didn't look at it; maybe they did & she just wanted to confirm, I'm not sure. At the beginning of my massage, she asked me if stretching was OK, what I wanted focused on, and confirmed I didn't want her to step on my back, which I appreciated all of these being asked. She did stretch me with my permission, which was amazing & exactly what I needed. She made sure to also confirm the pressure of her massages were okay with me as well a couple of times during the massage. Some of my friends got warm beds. Unfortunately, mine wasn't and my room was pretty cold. When the blanket was moved from my body, I was pretty cold. This is probably my only complaint about the entire experience. I definitely want to come back if I'm in the area again.
