The NOW is superb. The NOW is righteous. The NOW Is the best of Hamburg. 'Member when Gene Simmons of KISS said " you wanted the best? you got the best!"? Well, clearly he was psychically and futuristically in tune with this pizzeria. This is essentially old school takeout... but they also have capacity for limited sit down. And you know what ? Driving through, I had a craving for a slice yelped the town of Hamburg and this came up very highly rated. And-my slice of cheese and pepperoni is excellent -wonderful sauce, especially. I can't say I'll be back cause I'll probably never be here again, but I would if I came here again. Wonderful Buffalo style pizza. It's a small place inside with only two tables for seating, so I wouldn't plan on dining in. They did have seating out front as well as a patio alongside of the building for warmer weather. The staff was friendly. I found Now pizzeria on Facebook when someone posted about their clam pizza... That was something I never heard of and HAD to try... I also had to bring my dad along because he loves clams. The pizza was simple ingredients, but delicious! It had a garlic oil base with mozz and chopped clams. The ratios if all the ingredients were just right and the clams were not chewy or an issue with biting into the pizza. I wasn't a huge fan of the crust itself... Boyfriend and I were in the area running an errand and wandered a bit to find lunch. We ended up here and were able to enjoy lunch at a table outside. We quickly perused the menu and boyfriend wanted to share the taco and pizza special. Each meal comes with a 20 oz. bottled soft drink. I started with the pizza and was pleased to find the sauce wasn't sweet, as I hate a sweet sauce. We both agreed it wasn't really acidic either, but pretty neutral. I had a couple bites of the taco and knowing I'd never finish both items I gave it over to the boyfriend to finish. The taco was just ok in my opinion I added some hot sauce and then chose to crush the large slice instead. Delicious! Check this place out if you're in the area. Always have loved to come here as a kid and now as an adult bringing my kids here. I love the pizza and so do they !!! The service is friendly and fast ( I like to pre-order to make sure it's ready faster when I have the kids with me). I would definitely recommend this pizzeria. The Now Pizzaria has been open for 50 years on main St in Hamburg, NY. I have been coming to this Pizzaria for over 30 years, walking there in grammar school, high school, college, grad school, and as an adult when I'm back in WNY visiting friends and family. I've had numerous friends work here over the years. It's been a pizza institution in Hamburg. The quality has always been there, consistent for 50 years. The pizza, wings and sub sandwiches are always fantastic! Even tho my parents live 10-15 minutes south of The Now, I prefer to make the drive here for takeout vs anything in our smaller town, maybe it's nostalgic lol, but it's just always good. Excellent Buffalo style pizza. I ordered two large pizzas for a work function right when they opened on a weekday. They were quick and efficient. The pizzas were excellent in both quality and flavor. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try. I did note that they need at least two hours advanced notice to make a sheet pizza fyi. read more

Let me start by saying, I've driven past this place a million times and never knew it was a pizzeria. Located directly in the village of Hamburg, you may recognize this place by the beautiful "Orange Crush" sign outside. I'm shocked nobody has ever recommended this place to me. Must be a well kept secret because the pizza here is top notch! I was pleasantly surprised. It looked a bit sloppy underneath the custom box but it didn't disappoint. To be completely honest, I want to give this a 9+ score, but I need a few more visits before putting in up there with the big dogs. We order from here all the time. I grew up on this place, since they opened and still love their food to this day! I do miss a couple of items they don't offer anymore, one is a small garden salad Joel used to offer on the menu. It was so fresh and good and had just the right ingredients. But we regularly order a variety of other items and they are all great! Chicken Finger Tacos, Subs, Antipasto, Fried Mushrooms and Onion Rings. Absolutely LOVE their Blue Cheese and hope they never change the brand they use! And, as insignificant as it may seem, I am impressed by the fact that they offer CUT carrots with their wings as opposed to "baby" carrots that many restaurants use. I don't eat those or buy them for my family and anyone that has done some research on their production and "cleaning" process will know why. Their carrots are freshly cut and full of flavor, which makes them a fantastic compliment to wings ;) This family-run business is one of our favorite local go-to places and we hope they are around for a very long time! read more

Had to try another pizza place in Hamburg and hoping not to be disappointed again.. This place certainly DID NOT, service was great on the phone as I explained I'm disabled and it's hard for me to get from the car to a service counter, carrying it definitely not happening. So she was kind enough to bring everything out to my car. I spoke with Jody, one of the owners, first earlier in the day, and then to order my food, it was Julie, both ladies were kind and helpful. I ordered the broccoli pie w/o cheddar with mushrooms and extra extra well cooked. Reason I request pizza this way in WNY it's usually soggy , this certainly WASN'T nice and crispy and sturdy with a good chew. Seasonings were on point, ratio if cheese to toppings was perfect , the placement or dispersion of toppings was so well balanced, each bite, you got a little bit of each topping. So many pizzerias have uninterested employees, and they screw this up. These ladies are artists! From my understanding, this is the oldest running pizzeria in Hamburg since 1969 and their family has owned from about 1972, the daughters recently purchased the biz from the family, and to me they're doing a wonderful job. This is my hometown pizzeria and I request pizza and wings every time I visit my parents. We tend to stick to the basics- mild or medium wings, pepperoni or sausage on a pizza. You don't need anything fancy (though the pictures they post if other toppings look delicious) their pizza is flavorful, hot, and just plain tasty. It's run by a lovely family. The Now Pizzeria is my favorite pizzeria in Western New York. I tried their food for the first time in March while visiting a friend, who pointed out to me that the establishment has been around "for, like, ever" (since 1969). While perusing the menu, I noticed that the prices are very reasonable. My first thought was that maybe the food quality is along the lines of the saying "you get what you pay for." But a restaurant doesn't stay in business "for, like, ever" for no reason, and I was eager to learn what The Now is all about. I settled on a personal pan pizza with onions, green peppers, and hot cherry peppers (The Now is one of few local pizzerias that offers hot cherry peppers as a topping, which automatically made me like them). Even after adding toppings, the price was impressively low. My pizza was soooo delicious! I loved it! They didn't skimp on the cheese and it was cooked thoroughly but not overdone. In terms of taste and quality, it far exceeded what I expected for the cost. Since then, I've ordered from The Now a handful of times. On all but one occasion, I ordered the same exact pizza in various sizes. One thing you can expect at The Now, which is conspicuously absent from the credentials of most local pizzerias, is consistency. Each time, my pizza tasted exactly like it had the time before - delicious, flavorful, and baked to perfection. I like knowing what to expect and this is one of the top reasons I am a repeat customer at The Now. One night, I decided to change things up and get a chicken finger sub. I rarely come across a chicken finger sub I don't like and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only criticism is that it could've used more hot sauce - if I order a sub from them in the future, I'll simply ask for it. The staff here is incredibly friendly. I've never had an unpleasant experience picking up my order. The Now deserves to be recognized for the above-average customer service they provide. Both were very tasty and not covered in grease like some other pizza place in town we use to goto. This time we ordered a turkey & ham sub and a mini cheese pizza. Everything was fantastic and this has become our new pizza/sub place in Hamburg. Since moving to the Southtowns I have been trying out lots of pizza places. As a family we don't order much takeout. . But everyone needs a go to pizza place for that special occasion. The Now Pizzeria caught my attention because they have a dill pickle pizza! I've been dying to try the dill pickle pizza. I've seen them all over the internet and come to find out I can get one from Now. Their parking lot is terrible. It's angle parking but you cannot exit in the back so you have to do one heck of a turnaround. We ordered three large pizzas. The pickle pizza, a cheese pizza and a veggie pizza. The pickle pizza was a HUGE hit. Everyone loved it. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the other pizzas. The sauce was way too sweet for our liking. Which of course is a preference and no fault of the establishment. We still order from Now, but we only order the dill pickle pizza. We get our other pies elsewhere. I came for the wings but the pizza was the star. Going off a recommendation from a local I decided to keep it simple with wings and pizza. The clam pizza sounded deliciously unique so that was my first selection. The medium wings appeared to be a nice pairing for the pizza. Get back to hotel crack open the container of wings just to be disappointed in my first bite. There was so little sauce on the wings I couldn't even taste Buffalo on them. They had the slight orangish color but not the dripping sauce goodness you expect with a good wing. Looked in the bottom of the container and there was no evidence of sauce. So pretty much just fried chicken wings. The pizza was another story, I am more of a thin NY style pizza guy buy this pizza was on point. Chewy crust with lots of cheese. Add in the clams and garlic and while my breath was probably not kind my taste buds were ecstatic. read more
