Everything from the vibe to the flavours was spot on. Emily and her husband have created the best cafe around we will be back when next in the area! They were so kind to offer him a free coffee for his service! :') We were just going to pop in to satisfy my affogato craving but as we were taking off, we were so blessed to have the owner have us try his French Toast Crunch!!! Oh my!!! When I say, life changing - it is an absolute must try the next time you are in this area! That first bite really took me by surprise! You should have seen my face!! Haha! It blew me away! The crunchy bits on top are Cinnamon French toast cereal bits which give it a great crunchy but light texture in contrast to the creamy custardy french toast, paired with a "to die for" creamy whipped maple syrup and cream cheese (and something else?) topping that is so very light and airy and just a bite of heaven!!!! Not too sweet! Which I love. It's Just right! TJ is a very talented chef and artist. His wife Emily is so kind and warm and makes you feel so welcomed. And Chase, the chef (pictured) is real nice as well!! Really, you do feel the love in their food and hospitality. No wonder they get such great reviews!! Go support this local business. They are such a valuable addition (culinary wise, and community wise) to St. George!!! Their purpose and vision is so awesome- to honor those who have served us. Ps. Forgot to mention that we also tried the Utah Scones (beignets) and every single one of the dipping sauces that compliment them are bomb!! DEF try those!!!!!!! Love this place!!!

The service was excellent, the food was Primo! And they make their own Sourdough Bread. I couldn't help myself, so we took one home. It doesn't get healthier or taste better than this. All of us loved our meals. I may just get up this Saturday and take a two-hour drive from Vegas to get another loaf and have another breakfast. It's that good!

The staff has always been friendly, and the food and drinks are great. Sometimes flavors or presentation vary, seating isn't completely comfortable, but it was never not an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, a recent experience completely changed my perspective for me. We attended their Easter egg hunt for the second year in a row. They advertised a 3-minute head start for toddlers (ages 0-3). As a mom of a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old, this is perfect. We invited several of our toddler mom friends and family to hunt with our kiddos. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee at the cafe before venturing to the event. Instead, it was nothing like last year and there was no separation. Older kids and oddly pushy parents immediately trampled the small courtyard area. It was chaotic, overwhelming, and frankly unsafe for the littlest ones. When I privately messaged the business to share that the promised toddler head start wasn't enforced and suggested better structure for next year, I was met with complete defensiveness. I was essentially told I should be "grateful" rather than disappointed because it was a free event (when technically we did pay over $50 to "be there") I completely understand that free community events are a massive undertaking, but good intentions don't excuse poor advertising, poor safety execution or dismissing customer feedback. To not even get a simple apology after years of loyalty leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. (Especially all while my kids and I are being used in marketing) I hope they can strive to actually make their customers "FeelLove" in the future.

The Hawaiian style poke is the best in the west I've had at a restaurant ever!!! Fresh ahi, perfectly roasted inamona, crunchy limu, crunchy onions, perfect amount of Hawaiian salt. One the to note, rather than having traditional cabbage at the bottom of the meat, braddah Paki puts furukaki rice, go figure, awesome. Paki also does smoke meat. Our only complaint, and the reason I didn't give 5 stars was the service was SO SLOW. We waited about 20 minutes to get seated, totally understandable, but once we were seated it was about 15 minutes before we saw our waitress, then another 20 minutes before they brought our drinks(we ordered food the same time we ordered drinks). Once food came we saw her one time in the middle and then didn't see her again for another 30 minutes. We ordered desserts, waited about 15 minutes for those and didn't get one of our desserts delivered. So it was a rough service experience. The food was really good and the outside patio was great seating! We will come back but hopefully have better service!

My husband thinks the steak (locally raised) is one of the best steaks he's ever had. He also enjoyed their burgers. The tamarind glazed salmon and risotto dish, salads and mashed potatoes were my favorite, but truly, everything brought to the table was high-quality and delicious. Including the dessert (key lime pie and crème brûlée). Our server, Whitney, was wonderful. She is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu and potential adjustments (made recommendations that accommodated my gluten-free diet). She was a real joy and made the dining experience all the more special. We will definitely be back!

When we arrived we waited for the host and informed him we had a 10:15 reservation. Despite there being multiple empty tables, he informed us we would not be able to be seated until closer to our reservation which threw me off. We were seated around our reservation time and given some time to look at the menu. Our server was very helpful and kept checking in on us to see if we had any questions or if we were ready to order. She did take the time to inform us that we should order before a big party as our meal would take longer if we waited. We ordered buttermilk biscuits to share and I ordered the arrival of the sun (two eggs your way, bacon or sausage, potatoes, and country bread). The buttermilk biscuits were brought to us first and were 2 large fluffy biscuits served with butter and jam. The butter was good quality and jam was made in house, but was slightly runny, but overall a delicious combo. The arrival of the sun arrived shortly after and was a large portion. The potatoes were my personal favorite, seasoned and crispy! Wood ash rye is in a hotel in downtown St. George. The hotel itself has valet parking that is $22. However, if you arrive early enough you are able to find parking on the street, just make sure you look out for any parking signs. The inside of wood ash rye is small, but they offer an outside bar, several large tables in the center, and booths off to the side. In addition, they have a bar just outside the restaurant. They did have a sign posted that dogs are welcome on the patio which is a plus! -1 star for service for reservation time and empty tables

After we finished we were going to meet my cousin who lives in St George to do another hike. Gecko or something like that. I needed a pick me up. We stopped at the gas station in the same shopping center bc I needed a restroom and I was totally ok with basic no frills coffee for the sole purpose of getting some caffeine into my body. Whelp, they had no coffee. Ummm what? So I walked out and directly over to FeelLove. TBH I felt gross bc I was dirty, un-showered and kind of wasn't in the mood for bougie coffee. As soon as I walked up and heard chill coffee spot music I realized....I was wrong. Once inside my eyes were treated to the most beautiful unique decor I've ever seen in a coffee shop. This place could rival any of its kind in LA or Vegas. When I approached the counter the ladies behind it were very busy whipping up both drive through & in house orders. One of them acknowledged me and said someone would be with me shortly and within 1 min someone was. The gal who took my order was friendly and answered my questions-about their sweetener options with a smile. $5.48 for a 16oz hot Americano w steamed almond milk & monk fruit. Standard cost. Once my drink order was taken my hubby took a seat and I was checking out all the tantalizing treats. It took ALL of my will power to not order a slice of the carrot cake which looked like it was baked in house along with the other goodies. We were going to be hiking shortly so I didn't want a sugar bomb sitting in my stomach the whole time. I do wish I had taken a piece to-go to enjoy later that night. Next time for sure! Once my order was called I picked it up and joined my husband to sip my java. It was delicious! Smooth, piping hit, heavenly sweetened and soothing to the soul! Oh how glad I am that I was wrong about this place. It was beautiful, served excellent coffee and the employees were all very polite. I will be bake FeelLove. Save me some carrot cake!

We put our name in around 9:45am. The 30-45 minute wait time was just under 80 minutes. Ten minutes after being seated, we had menus but no waters, place settings, or server.  The host station was 6 feet from us, so I went over and let them know we were ready. "Your server will be with you shortly." Ten more minutes, nothing. I went to the bar area and asked for help. Turns out, our server didn't know our table was part of her area - so, the host was just saying a line to get rid of us. There were two hosts and mostly they tried to avoid clearing tables, hoping the other one did it. There were 3-4 parties waiting for tables that were available, just not being cleared.  The food was good, and came out fairly soon after ordering. I wish I could just review the food; it was 5/5. One order was slightly wrong, but that was the server grabbing the wrong plate. It was just after noon by the time our food arrived. That's a big interval for a ~9:45am arrival. I just looked at the most recent dozen reviews, and it looks like ours was more of the norm right now rather than an isolated unlucky incident. Lots of potential here but overall, we should've tried somewhere else.
