I Normally love this place, came here for all my oil changes. I sent my wife this Sunday to have her oil changed, she normally takes it to the dealer. This evening we find a giant puddle of oil in our driveway! My assumption is that they didn't properly install the oil filter, now my driveway is a mess and I'm going to miss work tomorrow to take care of the issue. Before this they would have easily gotten five stars, but this is too big of a mistake to overlook. read more

Took in my 2011 Toyota Camry for a full synthetic oil change. Was advised to change my automatic transmission fluid as I had 40k miles and there is no dipstick on that particular Camry transmission. They only did a drain and refill and charged $150. I checked with a Toyota specialist shop and they recommend on those transmissions a drain and refill every 15k for $70 and a transmission flush every 60k for $159 where they hook the transmission cooler lines to a machine and as the old fluid comes out it is replaced with Toyota World Standard transmission fluid. Don't let this place rip you off for a simple drain and refill. I will be complaining to management about this scam as well as filing a complaint with The California Bureau of Automotive Repair. read more

They vacuum your car, wipe down your windows, and check your air in your tires along with your oil change. They're also surprisingly quick, friendly, and professional. Took my car for an oil change. Did not receive the service that was advertised and promised. I brought in my own preferred motor oil and filter, was charged 15 dollars. The workers are generally nice, but they did not deliver the additional services which was suppose to be included: car vacuum and wipe down, checking break pads. I said "suppose to" because the worker there, David, said that the oil change service included those. MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THESE GUYS PERFORM THE WORK AND DOUBLE CHECK IF YOUR CAR WAS VACUUMED AND FLUIDS ARE TOPPED OFF, BEFORE YOU TIP THEM. I tipped without checking, lesson learned! read more

I decide to Yelp this place and all see these great reviews. I was bout to bring my car to Honda for an oil change but decide not to and give this place a try this morning! I used to love this place but they lost a regular customer today. My last two experiences here have been terrible. Last time, they changed my oil with the wrong type and brand because they never even asked me what I wanted. He said it was because the sticker on my window was gone (it fell off and was lost during a cleaning) and so they just automatically changed it with regular oil. I always get full synthetic. I had to wait for them to then rechange it with the oil I wanted and never even got an apology for the inconvenience. And then today. I show up at 3:25. There's no place to park in the regular oil change spots so I park in the laundromat area and head inside to let someone know I'm here for an oil change. I stand there ignored and finally sit down to wait after another customer told me I'd probably be waiting a while so I may as well sit and relax. Yeah, he wasn't kidding. Another 15 mins goes by - I'm still ignored and unacknowledged by everyone working there. I stand up again and stand right in front of the counter hoping someone will finally come over and speak to me. They aren't going to see my car out front because it's not there. I need to speak to someone. Finally a guy walks up and not only ignores me standing there, but calls out for not one but three different vehicles. After the third one was called out I'd had enough. I said, "Okay fine, I guess I'll be going somewhere else from now on," and I left to go to another place nearby. I don't know what their problem was today but it's pretty ridiculous to ignore someone standing at your counter with keys in hand, trying to get a service done. I can understand being busy but to not even acknowledge me and continue to help everyone else without even a word in my direction is crazy. 30 minutes of my time wasted here, while I used to be in and out in 15. I always found their service great in the past, and now it's just gone down hill for me. Really disappointed. read more

This is a great place to come get your oil change. The staff here are helpful and kind. The service here is spectacular! It's on the corner of Valley and Baldwin, right across from the Mc Donalds. They not only do an oil change for you but they also check everything from break fluids to your wind shield wipers etc. They have a great system with the numbered cones, its nice to know when your turn is coming up. On a busy day you can wait about an hour, I like to always make a call to see how long the turn around time is. read more

Great place with great service. If you've ever been to a Jiffy Lube or your local dealership, I'm sure you'll be very familiar with how they ALWAYS try and upsell you by preying on your fears. You go in looking for $20 oil change and walk out with a $500 repair bill! Fear no more with the Oilmen. Straight forward, honest and reliable service. Great prices and fast service are added bonuses. There's always a line, probably because of the service & pricing, but it moves quick. I'm usually in and out within 15-20 minutes. Only downside is that they don't have a cushy lounge to relax in while you wait, but 15-20 minutes goes by quick. I've been bugging the owner to get free wifi access, that would make my visits even better. It's tough to find a business which charges honest prices for honest work. Price: They advertise 19.99 for full deluxe oil change. Only covers 4 quarts of oil. Extra charge for additional quarts of oil depending on the needs of the engine. Parking: They are located in a small plaza with a donut shop and laundry mart. Parking can be congested at peak hours (from open to about noon weekdays, and weekends). However, you will normally find parking and they pass out numbers to place on top of your car. Service: Overall Service is usually good. However, they seemed to change their practice over the past year. I used to take my 4 cylinder to them all the time and it was just $19.99 as advertised. However, they started doing this very annoying additional charge thing where they tell you at the very end that there is an additional charge added to the total because they had to add an extra quart of oil. I've brought the same car to them for several years and that's something that they never did before. They should at least explain and tell the customer up front before charging them, which would be ethical. Additionally, I have referred some friends and family (some who know nothing about cars) to them over the years and found out that they were charged extra for certain unnecessary things or were lied to about services. For example, my little cousin was told that they 'cleaned' his air filter. When I looked at the receipt, they checked off 'replace'. Could be a misunderstanding but they need to work on explaining things to their customers. Not cool guys. 2 stars off. read more

The one reason i went here was because of the 2 good reviews it had and i must say that it is a great spot to get your oil change. They are super fast and real nice i thought it would take some time but since i was the only one left all 4 guys worked on the car at once to get it done fast i didnt even get to finish my soda i got from the laundry mat. I've been coming here for years and I had change my vehicle few times in those years. The young asian guy i believe his name is David, very friendly, polite and every time i have a question about my vehicles, he always have the answer! My amigos (the mechanics) are awsome! Change the oil, wipe the windows, vacuum the carpet, put air in the tires, and all that just their base service. One time i had a missing screw on my front bumper and they even put another one for me! That is called great customer service and that keeps me coming back. read more

I waited an hour to get my oil changed. I parked in the space labeled Oilmen and waited my turn. I tryed to pull in to the station and was told that there was another car ahead of me. I then backed out, let that car in and tryed to pull in again. I was told there was a blue truck ahead of me also. I told the guy working there that I was already parked when the blue truck parked next to me. His response was "That's what the owner told me." I gave up. I had already wasted an hour and I was not going to waste anymore time. So if you go there, expect really poor customer service, a frustrating experience, watch as randomly people are let in, and expect to spend a lot of time. I've taken my car here before, and the service was good, this time my bf and I took another car in, and they were awesome! David took care of us, they topped off all our fluids, washed the windows, we needed new windshield wipers and they had no problem getting it all done for us. Great service, quick and professional! One of the few mechanic shops open on a Sunday. Brought my own synthetic oil and OEM filter...they charged me $15 for labor. Topped off all my fluids, vacuumed, washed my windows (inside/outside), wiped down dash and air hosed my engine air filter. They are very efficient and seem to do oil changes mostly.
