I really wanted to like this place, but I didn't. It was easy to get to, lots of free parking in the spacious lot, and a really cute restaurant all around. I guess I just came at a bad time when they were changing out shifts. The whole experience lacked authenticity for me, and it just wasn't what I expect when I dine out. I didn't enjoy the experience. I understand that people all have different tastes, and there are many factors involved helping us either to like, or dislike anything, but this place just didn't do it for me. While this restaurant has a retro decor, with older chandeliers, furniture, fabric, etc which is kind of fun, the rest of the experience leaves a lot to be desired. We went to an early dinner, so it wasn't very busy yet, but felt rushed through everything and the timing of drinks, food, bill and to-go boxes, felt awkward and off. We ordered drinks right away, and mine came relatively fast, but they couldn't find all the ingredients for one of the specialty cocktails, so that came out at least 20 minutes later and between the salad and main course. The salad arrived on a plate that had just come out of the refrigerator, and was iceberg lettuce with some dressing on top. Super simple. My spaghetti with mushroom sauce was surprisingly bland. I used to love this restaurant 25 years ago when I was in college, but now I feel like I could do better at home with a jar of Ragu sauce. For almost $20, it's definitely not worth it. The third course is a scoop of spumoni or vanilla ice cream, which is a nice touch. The to-go boxes and bill arrived before I was even halfway done with my meal and we just guessed we would need them. On a normal night out, these things seem to just happen with the right timing, and you hardly notice anything awkward. Here, the whole experience was a bit awkward. This was our first visit to the Spaghetti Factory. Overall, the restaurant was very clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. The bread, salad, and soup were all fresh and flavorful. For our entrées, we ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, as well as the shrimp pasta. The spaghetti and meatballs ,and the shrimp dish was very plain and lacked flavor, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, the service did not meet our expectations. Our server took a long time to respond to our requests, and our food took quite a while to arrive. While we appreciated the restaurant's cleanliness and some aspects of the meal, the overall dining experience fell short due to the slow service and underwhelming entrées. Went in for lunch at 1:30 on a Monday. No one was waiting. The hostess said it would be 5 minutes. We sat and waited 20 minutes. I asked if we would be seated soon. The hostess said she was going to clean off a table and come back and seat us. She proceeded to do some cleanup and chores. Waited another 10 minutes and walked out. I was curious about this chain because I am currently obsess with Heated Rivalry so I was curious what Hudson Williams restaurant env was like. Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. This is a pretty big space. There's so much going on from birthdays parties to someone making balloon animals/hats/swords to screaming children. Even at 8pm, it was busy. So if you wanted to enjoy dinner, pick somewhere else or maybe come on a weekday. We were both overstimulated from everything going on. Some kid blew a straw at my partner on accident. We were sat at the trolley booths. I don't know if they were short staffed but getting water took forever. We waited like 15 min before our order was placed. They ran out of soup so I had to wait - should've taken the salad. The spinach dip was super salty. I don't understand why the bread wasn't cut ahead of time. The food was meh. Nothing special. The sauce was lacking. Best part was the ice cream - get the other option not vanilla. We won't be back but maybe you'd like this. So when we came across a location in Colorado, we were very pleased and had to try it. There was no wait time and we were served promptly. Our server was very attentive and kept checking on us. I was skeptical when we walked in because it was right at chef change meeting the lunch and day crew switching into evening dinner crew. I really wasn't impressed with the service but what I was impressed with was the food. The lasagna was amazing. I was surprisingly shocked. It's quite a large property and a pretty big restaurant. This was my first time at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Westminster, but definitely not my first time at the restaurant in general. I have fond memories of going to the one which used to be located in downtown Denver but closed nearly 8 years ago. I realized it had been far too long since I had eaten some spaghetti with browned butter and mizithra cheese, so I decided to gather some friends and head up north. There were seven of us, and thankfully we had made a reservation so we didn't have to wait. This all worked out well because the restaurant was pretty busy for a Sunday in the early evening. One thing to note for others with larger parties is that they will not seat you until all people on the reservation are present, in the lobby, and standing in front of the host stand. The food was just as delicious as I remembered. I will say that the service seemed like they were doing their best but I have to be completely honest and state that I did get the impression that they were slightly understaffed. That being said, our waitress was very nice and bubbly. I love that they make all of their sauces and dressings and aren't just opening up a can or jar. The decor is also gorgeous and one of my friends who had never been was surprised by how classy the ambiance was, with stained glass and chandeliers. When I go out to eat, I want a unique experience but with delicious food, and Old Spaghetti Factory delivers. read more

Came here for a sibling's lunch. First time for all of us. We tried 2 appetizers, some Italian cream sodas, and each ordered entrees. We learned that everything is a 3 course menu! Otherwise if we'd known better, we'd skipped the appetizers! Lol The manager was really nice and came by to check on us. Our waitress was okay. The balloon guy walked around many times and never came to our table for the entire time we were there. Not that we needed balloons but just saw how he went to other tables to up a fun experience. Food was okay. The place is impressive and cool. Worth coming to at least once for the experience. We made a reservation in advance so we didn't have a wait on a Saturday night. Service was slow with no drink refills. The Pasta with Mizithra was very good and I added mushrooms. That is always consistently good. My husband had the Chicken Parmigiana and the chicken was very chewy and the pasta not very warm. The Strawberry Citrus Mule was good. What a beautiful evening spent with family and friends we love the spaghetti factory. Everyone's dish came out in a timely matter. There was no mistakes the server was incredibly kind. This was the last time seeing each other for a long time since we all moved to different states and we won't know when we will be back so the spaghetti factory holds many memories, such as baptism, graduations, end-of-the-year parties, anniversaries, birthdays, the old spaghetti factory has always been there for us and we wish nothing but blessings and love for this place! 10/10 see you again! read more

The staff was kind. Service was fast, food was pretty good. Some things could use some quality improvements but it was NOT terrible. Italian Food is my favorite, so I can be a bit of a harsh critic when it comes to it. The sauce on the lasagna was too loose. I prefer a thicker and richer sauce. The salad was so blah. It was just a salad mix that was poured out of a bag into a bowl, which was disappointing because I always need a good salad to cut the acid in Italian food. They take no pride in the salad that they serve. The Minestrone Soup was delicious! The spaghetti w/ 3 meats was good, just needs better sauce. The Italian sausage was delicious. Loved the bread a butter! Fried ravioli was tasty as well, just wish it the sauce for dipping was better. The Spumoni ice cream was very good. The prices were really good! Where do I start?! Felt like Chuck E Cheese... such a joke of a place. People yelling in a weird "actors" outfit (is that normal?)... balloons for kids which is fine.... Menu on a placemat (am I at the Italian version of Wafflehouse?!?! ‍ Took 30 mins to get a drink (we were the ONLY 2 people at the bar, but restaurant was pretty busy btw. Never got to eat there, waited so long for food I asked my friend to get it Togo for me so I could make it to work in time (food took just over an hr overall).... I'll comment on the food when I finally get to eat it, cold at this point. I tipped the bartender very well btw, he was all alone and super busy!!!! Wanted to make a reservation for about 20. Was told we had to do a banquet contract - 1 check only, limited menu options, set dinning time. Wasn't my favorite but I agreed, some folks paid me their portion up front (1 check). Verified 3 days before as required. We got seated out in the general dinning area, not the banquet area. Staff knew nothing about our contract. Parties of 20 and 25 were seated around us. Ended up it was Prom(s) Night. Server had us order off the menu with everyone getting their own check. Had to refund a bunch of money to my friends, as their menu choices didn't line up with the pre-approved contract menu. Large partied seated after us were served first. Loud, noisy, couldn't hear people talk, my friends enjoyed their food, but mine was adequate. Won't be back. read more

We eat here every few weeks and are never disappointed. Quality food at a reasonable price... and friendly, efficient wait staff.

This review is based on my wife's recent visit with her friend while visiting the Denver Metropolitan Area. She did not have reservations but only had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated at dinner time. She said the interior of this restaurant is very nice and unique, and staff attentive although they were very busy. I hate writing reviews like this but we came with a larger party with our softball team. The restaurant was busy and our waitress was new, but she was not the problem. I do blame the manager on this one. Our waitress Darcy did a great job, however the manager should have helped her more. The lady manager did not help her until a member of our party said, we have been here for over an hour and a half and we still haven't received our water. You can clearly tell the manager did not want to help Darcy out or help any of her other staff out. We made sure we wrote on our receipt that we wanted all our tips to go to Darcy. By the time our food came, 2 hours later we asked for it all to go. Even asking for to go containers were a bother to the manager. I do feel bad for anyone working under that manager. Decided to stop by on a whim after a random Italian craving. I was told there would be a 10 min wait but honestly I was seated in five minutes. I ordered the combo with the mushroom sauce and the clam sauce and both were mid and blander than expected. The bread and butter was delicious, as was my salad! When going to a place like this I don't think anyone expects anything amazing. My waiter also disappeared A lot, although he was apologetic about it. After going back and forth. We always got the feeling something was fishy, during several occasions they gave us excuses on why we need to pay a $100 and hour for a private room. instead of serving us at the regular tables. Also that our menu for kids was very limited. Long story short we decided to go to Maggiano's in 5 minutes they had our menu and our table ready, with just one phone call. I've been here twice now. Both times we had reservations. Both times we waited at least 15 minutes for a seat. Tonight we were celebrating a family accompaniment. Since we waited 15 minutes after our reservation time, we ordered as soon as the waitress came to take drink orders. We waited 45 minutes for our food still. The waitress said they were behind because 4 tables complained about under cooked pasta. The manager came by and said multiple tables complained pained about over cooked pasta. Once the food finally arrived, it was completely mediocre. We waited another 12-15 minutes for to go boxes and the check. What a sad place this is. No excuse for this experience whatsoever. We will never go back and quite frankly, we should've known better. Good riddance. I cannot get over how pathetic this experience was. They knew how bad it was as they came by and apologized no less than 4 xs. What should've been a 1 hour visit from our reservation time turned into 2 hrs. I know Olive Garden has a bad stigma and reputation, but I've been there no less than 30 xs and I've never had an experience as bad as the 2 I've had here. There are too many Italian restaurants out there to waste your time and money trying this place. read more

This is just a great place to grab food and drinks with friends. The entrees include bread, salad & dessert. This is the only place I have seen mizithra cheese, so definitely check that out. I really like the tortellini, the ravioli and the lasagna. The berry sangria can be served by the carafe and is sweet & refreshing. The interior of the restaurant is really cool. It feels like being in a fancy, old train station. You can even dine inside a trolley car. This place can definitely get busy. We try to stop in either when they first open for the day or in that in-between lunch and dinner time. They have plenty of parking. The restaurant location is a bit challenging to get to and get out of. Plan a little extra time for that. read more

The service, drinks, salad, bread, and soup were good. But the main course's were a huge disappointment. The clams linguine (spaghetti) was pasty and 2 to 3 clams. The chicken piccata, wow not sure where to start with this one!!! The chicken was so over cooked it was hard cutting it with the knife and so dry. The spaghetti had a ton of cheese (which I love cheese), but no moisture. We wont be eating there again. :( read more

Came in for lunch to meet someone to sign some papers and agreed to meet in the bar area. I walked into the bar and asked for a table. The waitress Autumn told me I had to go back out the lobby and wait to be seated. Back out to the lobby I go and wait, only to be seated in the bar with waitress who told me to go back out and wait. Placed my lunch order. She came over to the table several times and said "sweetheart are you doing ok". Since when do you call customers sweetheart very put offing. Sometimes asking do you want to be seated in the bar goes a long way or did you want the dinning room. read more

The atmosphere was fun and it's a cool, old building. The wait was longer than we were told it was going to be, and the service was pretty unimpressive. We ordered an appetizer that was taking quite a bit longer than it should have, and the waitress apologized and told us she accidentally rang in the wrong app, so that's fine. But, when we got the bill, both appetizers were still on it, and we had to remind her to take the wrong one off. The "house salad" was clearly just a generic mixed salad like you would find in a bag at the local Safeway with what tasted like Hidden Valley dressing on it. The Minestrone tasted like an off-brand version of Campbell's and clearly came out of a can. The pasta was a little underdone, and the meat sauce reminded me of what they used to serve in the school cafeteria when I was a kid. The sausage and meatballs were ok, but also could easily have come from the local grocery store. The chicken marsala was just a bland, dry overcooked chicken breast with some Swanson gravy and sliced mushrooms poured over it. Pretty unimpressive, overall. The total bill was around 75 bucks (after having the appetizer that was rung in mistakenly taken off), and we could easily have put this whole meal together at home for 20 bucks. Just from the experience that my wife and I had, I would suggest a makeover for the menu. Get some guidance from someone with some actual culinary expertise. This place is amazing, when you get inside the atmosphere is great. Just reminds me of what I would think an old spaghetti place would be like in Italy. There is a trolley car in the restaurant. Food is amazing! Spaghetti with different sauces is so good. Meat and marinara sauce mixed together. With two huge meat balls They bring you bread, butter. The drinks are great too!
