My wife and I had the chance to eat here the last couple visits to Buena Vista, CO. There gyros are seriously the best we've ever had!- not your typical NY simple gyro, much more delicious and gourmet! Also, we had the gyro with falafel inside, wondering why every gyro isn't made this way :) We're planning our next trip to the mountains and was thinking of this wonderful place, and we're planning to eat here again in a couple weeks. Also the staff was incredibly nice and let us know some cool drives and hikes to take in the area that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. read more

Tasty truck.....BV as a town is so dialed in with the food trucks! This was first trip to THE OLIVE.....great tasting Greek food. I had the Tanimal and I would ask for extra sauce to dip in....lots of meat and falafels inside. Clean, kind service and FAST!!! Who needs the front range??? Just saying get in here read more

Don't go at 4:30pm on a Wednesday. Gyro meat was overly dry. Greek salad had no greens or feta cheese. We like Mediterranean food and would give this one more try. Go for lunch when food is fresh. read more

My wife and I have never been to Buena Vista and decided to go on a road trip. We happen to drive into town right at noon and lunch time. So, walking down Main Street, we found what looked like a food truck/trailer tucked between two buildings with picnic tables in front. I ordered the gyro, which was big and full of meat, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, feta cheese and tazaki sauce on a big pita bread. My wife got the Mediterranean salad and added greens and gyro meat. The menu is limited, but the food is great with generous portions. The staff were a couple of young men who seem to enjoy their jobs, friendly, and quick. Definitely recommend The Olive! read more

Great little Mediterranean food truck! I tried the Falafel and it was cooked perfectly! Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside...delicious! They grilled their pita too, which I really liked. Nice little seating out front too with picnic tables, trees for shade during the day and lights hanging between them at night for light. read more

You will love this place if you like gyros and Greek salads. The menu is limited (its a food truck), but the food is well-prepared, reasonably priced and served quickly. I hope this food truck comes back next summer! read more
