Service was exceptional. The food was okay. Neither of us said "best we ever ate". We had the fried green tomatoes which were very good. Sat out on the enclosed patio which could use updating.

Seasonal fig cocktail-- delicious!!!

Most beautiful views!!! Perfect for a drink and photos when the weather is nice. We'll be back!

Amazing experience. Super cool cozy vibes on the inside. Service was fast and friendly and the drinks and food were great! Had arguably the best rack of lamb I have ever had last night.

Honestly, it's surprised us. We loved the old antique ambience. The low lighting really felt like a romantic, but homey dinner. The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly I could not have asked for better.

Orchard chicken. Unreal how great this dish is.

This place is a must visit anytime we are in town. The restaurant is cozy and the staff is warm. My wife is pretty much stuck on the mushroom ravioli, which is unbelievably wonderful. The orchard chicken is one of my favorites, but it is hard to go wrong with anything they have on offer. Highly recommend

Covid 19 has changed the dining experience to say the least. Only the Events Barn is open at this time. Upon entering, you order your food and drink at the counter, pay and proceed to your table, fast casual style. The menu and liquor drink selection are limited to about 1/3 as previous. We went and sat at the table pointed out for us and were served salad in about 3 or 4 minutes. No wine - I had to go back to the order counter to inquire about our wine. Next the server brought our wine and sat it on a serving tray behind my back saying here's your wine and walked away. Same deal when the server brought our dinner a few minutes later - I never saw her face. In less than 45 minutes it was over and we left. I understand the COVID 19 procedures, however, there just was no dining experience here or value for the expenditure of $100. Just order, eat your food and move on.

Chad and I had our official anniversary dinner at The Orchard Restaurant in Cashiers NC. I would give the restaurant five stars! The food, atmosphere, and service was fabulous. Our waiter Joe was both friendly attentive. Their menu is very creative. We started with their Mac's Gap Quail. It was wonderful. I really unique combination of flavors. If you like fish, I would highly recommend one of their trout dishes. Chad and I each had the Trout Chattooga and the Glenville Fried Trout. We shared the two dinners. Everything was delicious! I did not take any pictures during dinner of the food because I did not feel it was appropriate in such a lovely atmosphere. Below is a description of what we had for dinner. Next time you're up in North Carolina near Cashiers I would check it out! Reservations are a recommended. MAC'S GAP QUAIL Char-grilled bacon wrapped boneless quail breast served with creamy risotto, baby kale and finished with a molases glaze. TROUT CHATTOOGA Our boned trout filet dusted in flour, gently sauteed in olive oil, herbs and seasonings and a splash of wine. GLENVILLE FRIED TROUT Pecan breaded fried trout filet, served on "Anson Mill" stone ground cheese grits with a black-eyed pea corn relish and a honey dijon tartar sauce. http://www.theorchardcashiers.com/

This diner is located in a back street, next to a market and close enough to a strip mall with restaurants. It's a quiet place although lots of people come in and out. We sat down, got our coffee, ate our meals, and wondered if we could eat more. The food was so tasty that we really wanted to take more food with us. I had a chicken fried steak and my gf had an omelette. Every table around us was busy eating, we were not the only ones who appreciated this food. For a humble place with delicious food, the prices were average. The coffee could use a little help, as well as the A/C, but all in all, it was a win for us hungry bears.

His bun completely dissolved in his hands and was far past just a little messy it was soggy, overcooked and impossible to eat .then they refused to give us a refund because it's out of their hands cuz they according to them didn't mess up the order because they didn't give us the wrong food

I was so glad to get a reservation at Canyon Kitchen-- as they book out months in advance, and now…read moreI completely understand why! The entire experience felt magical from the moment we arrived. Nestled in a serene valley framed by dramatic granite cliffs, the setting alone is enough to make the visit worth it. Even if you're not lucky enough to snag a reservation, I'd still recommend stopping by for a cocktail just to soak in the views and ambiance. It's truly one of the most stunning dining environments I've experienced. Dinner started off strong with their bread service--warm, pillowy Parker House rolls that were just the right amount of indulgent. We also ordered the deviled eggs, which had a wasabi twist that honestly blew me away. It was such a unique combination, but it totally worked--easily a 10/10. The tuna tartare came next, served with thinly shaved radish instead of chips, which added a crisp, refreshing texture that paired perfectly with the delicacy of the fish. For the main course, I had the fresh North Carolina trout. It was beautifully cooked and so fresh, though I found the mustard sauce a bit overpowering--it still didn't take away from how enjoyable the dish was overall. My partner ordered the Georgia steak, which was an absolute standout. It was cooked to perfection and served with creamy mashed potatoes and tender braised turnips--comfort food with an elevated twist. We ended the night with the strawberry pavlova, which was light, airy, and just sweet enough--perfect for a warm summer evening. We also opted for the wine pairing, and I can't recommend it enough. Each pour was thoughtfully chosen to complement the flavors of the meal, and the pairings truly elevated the entire dining experience. Canyon Kitchen changes its menu seasonally, which just gives me more of a reason to return. The food, the service, the views--everything about this meal was memorable in the best possible way. If you have the chance to go, don't hesitate. And if you don't, at least swing by for a cocktail and take in one of the most beautiful spots in Sapphire!

The staff was very personal and attentive. We started with an average at best mocktail and bread service. Not impressed with the $6 roll and two smaller rolls (almost like popovers) or the butter that came along with it. We both started with salads. The wedge an the citrus. Both were very nice! For our main, I had the pork chop and my friend had the black grouper with "fried rice". She absolutely loved the fish however the rice that was served with it was dry and bland. My pork chop was very good. It was glazed with an apple butter and was in a peanut sauce which is a strange combination but it worked. So, overall it was a good experience, we just expected more based on the recommendations.

The restaurant is plainly decorated with about a dozen tables. We timed our visit perfectly since it seemed that soon after we arrived the lunch crowd began arriving, which quickly created a wait. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, which cooked perfectly and were topped with a well-executed béarnaise sauce. We also ordered a Meat-Lover's Omelette that was generously stuffed with various meats. We also ordered a stack of blueberry pancakes that were light and fluffy in the middle with slightly-crisp edges. Delicious all around. Service was attentive and efficient. The staff seemed to have multiple roles as you would expect in a small/family-run restaurant. I highly recommend you stop here for breakfast or lunch and enjoy delicious food in a simple atmosphere.

We wait, the place is rather small, so you can see the tables and the progress they've made with food. We get seated about the same time as another table. The other table promptly gets menus and drinks. Another two groups come in and have a five(ish) minute wait and get seated and are immediately given menus, and we are still sitting with nothing, no one is even making eye contact with us, again small place and we were right by the counter. So, after drinks were taken at the two newer tables and we still had no menus my husband and I got up and left. The reviews made me want to try this place, but after that, we won't be back to try.

You walk in, grab a tray, and you've got options. You can go through the hot bar and get served right there, pay, and be on your way... or order off the menu, sit down, and they'll bring the food to you. Very simple and efficient. The inside is spacious with plenty of seating, and there's also outdoor seating if you want it. Parking is easy too, which is a big plus, especially compared to the chaos you'll run into closer to Helen. Food wise, I always judge breakfast spots by the chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit... and this one held up. The chicken was tender, the biscuit was soft and fresh, and overall it was a solid start. The surprise for me was the hashbrown casserole. It came out good, but once I added a little salt, the flavor really popped. Definitely worth getting. The pancakes were also done right... nice crispy edges with a soft, fluffy inside. That's exactly how pancakes should be. Menu wise, they've got everything you'd expect from a Southern breakfast spot... biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, country ham, pancakes, omelets, and even lunch style items like burgers and plate meals if you come later. They also have a Coca-Cola fountain, which is always a win. Service was friendly, especially for early morning, and the whole place just has that comfortable, old-school home cooking feel. There is also a drive thru if you don't feel like leaving your car. Overall, this is a great spot if you want a good breakfast without the crowds. Simple, tasty, and easy.
