    Garlic naan

So happy to find an Original Chicago's Pizza and Curry closer to home! Never been? Imagine Indian food on a Chicago Pizza! We've been to the location in Edinburgh, but this was first time at this location just off US65 in Franklin. Kirti took our order at the counter. She was friendly and efficient. There was a discount for cash payments. They serve a few bottled beers. The dining room is ultra casual but clean and comfortable. Our pizza was ready in about 15 minutes. We sipped on $3 Coronas as we waited. The pizza was aromatic, hot with a creamy masala sauce and roasted paneer on top. With medium spice, we got a little tang, but not overpowering. The pizza was 5 star fabulous with its chewy crust. We also go an order of garlic naan. The bread (while fresh) was a little on the dry side. Getting into the parking lot was a challenge. You drive by the restaurant and basically around the block to find a small access road. There is parking right in front of the building. There is easy on and off of US65. I highly recommend the pizza.

Very nice people but a couple of issues! Yes, I showed up at 9:30 pm while they're open until 10 pm. Tried to accommodate the time and availability of certain foods like naan wasn't available and no problem. Order was to go staying at hotel across the road... Ordered butter chicken which is wonderful. Issues: Paid $2.99 for plain yogurt but it wasn't in the bag when I returned to my room. Needed the yogurt to cool off while eating spicy food. Called several times but no one answered phone. Also ordered Cesar salad which was disappointing as they didn't use romaine lettuce and added yellow cheese??? There is one main ingredient in Cesar salad and that's Romaine lettuce. Again, nice people but room for improvement and accuracy.

A really neat concept - pizza and Indian dishes all in one place. I placed an order online and the process was very easy and everything was ready when I arrived. Decided to try the Aloo Tiki Chat, which was potatoes, chickpeas and spices along with some sauces. I didn't care for the tomato type sauce on top, but the rest of the flavors worked well together and had good spice. The main dish, Dal Makhani, was a little off from what I've had before. When I opened it up, it was basically soup? There were a few beans and lentils at the bottom but it was extremely soupy and not even the rice could soak it all up properly. The taste was ok but I think too much liquid watered down the flavors. I might try something different another time, but it was just ok for me.

What an innovative combination of flavors! This is the first Indian Pizza restaurant I have ever come across, and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend you try this place out if you like Indian food or pizza. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, and the flavors were wonderful. They gave us a heaping portion of veggies and meat. We were able to save half of the pizza for leftovers later. The wings were decent. I don't think they are the strongest items they have on the menu here. The naan was yummy. It was made fresh, and it almost melted in my mouth. Some recommendations I have would be to simplify the menu. I understand there are a lot of different offerings, but for people coming for the first time, all of the options were a bit overwhelming. Also, the restaurant can be seen off the main road, but it is kind of confusing how to enter the lot the restaurant is in. There should be a bigger sign to direct customers on where to turn in to get to the restaurant. Service is good. At first the naan we got was burnt, and the cashier was quick to offer to replace it. Inside, you would think this place is like a take out pizza restaurant, but they do bring the food out to you and clean up as well, so be sure to tip!

So I've been in Franklin 2 years now and I love it. My one complaint was the lack of diversity in food choices. I previously looked at the menu for this place a year or so ago and they had butter chicken but not my go to, chicken tikka masala, and the closest Indian restaurant is 25 minutes away. So the other day I was looking thru DoorDash I saw that Chicago's finally put chicken tikka masala on the menu and I was so excited! I'm used to the sauce being a little more creamy but it was still delicious. As for the tandoori chicken... some of the best I've ever had!

I tried the butter chicken pizza with medium spice level. Very interesting flavor, very close to traditional Indian meals. It did also have quite a lot of onion and cilantro on top. Lots and lots of vegetarian options to choose from. I would recommend this, next time I'd like to try the naan pizza.

The food is delicious! I wasn't sure I would like Indian food on a pizza but I absolutely do. And their cheesy garlic bread is phenomenal. It is a little tricky to get to. You have to turn at the light, turn left at the next road behind the gas station, then turn left again. You basically have to do a big loop around the gas station and the strip mall that the restaurant is in, pulling up from behind the strip mall and coming around to the front. But it's worth it!

I do not normally post reviews but this place was fantastic. The service was friendly and more important the Indian pizza was on point. I got the chicken tikka masala pizza and it was amazing

It didn't impress me enough to become loyal customer. There are so many pizza places to choose from in the south side area that after awhile you just end up settling on a few faves based on your own experience and your personal taste preference especially as far as the quality of the food . I decided to try Noble Romans as a change of pace recently and met a friend at the Franklin location for lunch because she lives close by. We went recently around noon on a weekday. I was really surprised we were the only ones there except for another table. That's pretty much the way it was the whole time we were there the whole time. We decided to get a personal pizza and the salad bar option. I always like a good salad bar. Their salad bar was lacking quite a bit. They needed to put more lettuce in the lettuce bin and the lettuce that was in there was not looking very good and was basically empty in the pan. I asked if they could replace it or add some more. She did that, but instead of replacing it, all she did was dump new lettuce on top of the old stuff. The rest of the salad bar just didn't look fresh. Their choices were not as vast compared to other salad bars that I've been to. The salad dressings were varied and OK or acceptable, When our pizzas came out, they were just OK as well. For some reason, they threw too much sauce on the top of my pizza which was kind of strange and I had to scrape much of it off. I can honestly say I was a bit disappointed with our visit there and I probably won't go back. Our server was nice for the most part. The establishment looked clean and overall atmosphere and decor was pleasant enough. We went recently around noon on a weekday.

I was worried when we couldn't make any reservations, but we got right in - nobody was waiting, they weren't busy, but they did seem to be scrambling to find a server for us, which I thought was a little odd. After a weird start, the rest of the visit was fantastic - service was great, food was excellent, and we had a lovely time on a date night. Restrooms are on the first floor (an older review says the women's is downstairs in a creepy hallway, but this must have been renovated) and are single-occupancy and unisex, which is an interesting experience depending on who has visited before you -- this was probably the low point of the experience, that restroom could use some upkeep. Not just an unpleasant previous visitor, but structurally. For such a nice place, that part was sketchy. Definitely will be coming back overall.

Online it says happy hour is all day Sunday and Monday-Saturday from 8-9pm. When we asked our waitress about it she said the website must be incorrect, even though it was listed on the Pizza and Libations website as all day happy hour on Sunday's. We ordered mozzarella sticks and a Spritz. I also ordered 2 beer samples to try before committing to a full sized beer pour. The spritz tasted watered down and had little to no flavor. Our mozzarella sticks came out in about 15 minutes. We received our mozzarella sticks before our drinks from the bar. After receiving our appetizer, we were still waiting on our drinks we ordered and had been waiting more than 30 minutes. There were multiple tables around us checking on their drinks and food because the wait was so long even though the restaurant wasn't even halfway full. There were only about 6 people sitting at the bar. Our mozzarella sticks were fresh and the hot honey drizzle was a good addition! They were pretty thick mozzarella sticks but reminded me of a higher end Arby's mozzarella stick. We ended up getting our check after my husband finally got his drink more than 30 minutes after ordering it. All in all, service was slow and the menus were not updated with correct pricing or specials. One menu stated a Coors Light was $6 while another said it was $7. Maybe it was an off night for them. The pizza looked very good and I would like to go back to give it another shot.
