We stop by the original pancake house for a quick breakfast. Unfortunately, they did not have an IV of their fresh squeezed orange juice. I was a little disappointed in that however, the server was excellent. The food was delicious and fast I highly recommend this restaurant if you have time to eat and enjoy your food, the server and busters were very attentive with our waters. The ambience was amazing. We sat in a booth next to the window and it was very spacious for five medium size people. The omelette was delicious. I've felt like it was a good portion for me. I only ate half and I took the rest to go everyone else's meal within my party looked amazing and they had no complaints. They all said it tasted delicious.

The portion sizes and the staff will keep you going back and make it worth the wait! I was lucky dining as a single person I was able to get in faster but it was wonderful being offered coffee or water while I waited. Haven't had that happen anywhere in a while. The omelets are huge and can easily be shared, love they come with pancakes or can choose some other options I believe, but the pancakes made my day. The potatoes with cheese were recommended by a regular here and I have to say I ate them way too quickly so I'd say give them a try as a special request! They also do leftovers perfectly with an easy to go box, plastic cutlery, extra napkins and salt and pepper, without having to ask for it! Great staff

What a great, hearty version of Denny's or IHOP! But yummier. Probably better reputed too. My friend was visiting so I thought I would show how the Tri cities does brunch. We came on a holiday but it was still open, fortunately. Admittedly, it was why we ended up here. And to our great fortune, we didn't have to deal with the lines that I had heard about because of the holiday. We had difficulty choosing from the immense variety of food but ended up with some plates involving the french toast, pancakes, country fried steak, and eggs. It was a feast that induced a food coma afterward. Service was quick and attentive, and the portions were American. It was a fun experience involving too much food but who can complain?

First visit to the OPH and was absolutely dazzled, on a good way! A great way honestly. Austin was our server and was patient and gave great info when I asked about their local ingredients and preparation. Kiddos got a kids plate and a French toast sticks, everything was devour, minus eggs for my oldest cause they're weird. My husband ordered the bacon buster with chocolate chip pancakes, the display truly struck that homemade right in grandma's kitchen feel with the hash browns chopped and let me tell you, everything was met with quality and quantity! I personally had the bacon and eggs with gluten free chocolate chip pancakes and fresh strawberries. I could not finish what was on my plate, I find that to be a good thing because it was filling and flavorful and made enough for a second meal to take home! Definitely will return, and look at the cute mugs they make!!!!

The squash with it is fresh! I loved the creamy texture of the risotto. I haven't had halibut in many years! I loved the 3 dips with the house-made potato crisps. My favorite dip was the smoked steelhead. The crisps are very crunchy! Baked Feta Cheese w/ Honey Drizzle: The scone like pastries are really good! Super fluffy texture. Add the feta on top then an olive on the cheese, and take a bite! The warm pastry with the creamy sweet honey feta cheese and savory olive blends so well together. It's an amazing sharable appetizer and I highly recommend it. Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream: The rich flavors of the pie are delicious! The apples are cooked perfectly and not too crunchy or mushy. The cinnamon isn't over powering the whole pie, but enough to know that it's there. My friend loves apple pie and rated it a 10 out of 10! The vanilla ice cream tasted good, but if you have ice cream outside on the patio be sure to eat it before it melts. It was 98 degrees. The hostess at the front when I walked in is so welcoming! The food was served at a good pace. Definitely a place worth visiting.

In reality, it's a raw cabbage taco with a hint of fish essence--or perhaps a cabbage taco with a fish surprise, if you're lucky. After she gave up and ate just one, she brought the rest home. I actually measured the piece of fish inside: a staggering 1.5 inches by 1 inch. That was it. One single, tiny nugget per taco, buried at the very bottom of the shell. Because of this, you have to choke down several mouthfuls of completely raw cabbage before you finally reach your single bite of fish. To make matters worse, that one bite of fish was terrible. They apparently brine it in a way that leaves it aggressively, unpalatably salty. While the menu claims the taco comes with "slaw," it is just heaps of dry, raw cabbage. There was so much of it that you couldn't even see the three corn tortillas until you went digging through the vegetation. The sheer lack of seafood in a "signature" fish dish is appalling. Save your money--unless you really, really love overpriced plates of shredded cabbage.

Out of towner here.‍ We came to the tri-cities for our…read morewedding anniversary weekend. We wanted an upscale, nice restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and landed on this Italian restaurant from a local friend's recommendation. I called ahead and made reservations. If you do this, beware it's AI taking down your request. So, I called the phone # listed online. It took me to the Lodge (hotel) where this restaurant is located and I was then transferred to the restaurant. I let the worker know it's my anniversary we are celebrating so I wanted it to be extra special and if I could have the best window seat for our dinner. She said she made note of it. Perfect! (So I thought). We arrived a few minutes early on a glorious beautiful day. As we checked in, the manager (I assume) was helping the nightly music act with her equipment, so she was preoccupied. (Nothing wrong with that!). The concierge was going to put us in a booth. I piped up and told her about my reservation. She then took us to the window "area" mind you, there was a window seat open, but she sat the menus at the table with our backs to the river view. ‍ The manager overheard me grumbling to my husband, offered us the window seat, but at that point I was already seated and reading the menu. We stayed where we were originally seated. The music was just outside the door, kind of loud to have an intimate conversation, but that was ok b/c the musician was good. Our server, Lacey was really nice, attentive & informative. The food was delicious! Look at my pictures, they do reek of deliciousness. Because it was our anniversary we splurged and had an appetizer and dessert. Appetizer: Frito Misto, basically like tempura. Fried calamari, zucchini, red peppers, onions with a delicious dipping sauce. Was not disappointed. Dinner: I had the spaghetti carbonara, which I've never had, the egg yolk was fun to mix into the dish and create this rich, delicious flavor with the bacon. Just spectacular. Hubs had the Ricotta gnocchi and loved it. He said it would have been even better if they had a little bit more sauce from what seemed to be braised pork. He dipped some of his gnocchi in my carbonara sauce and that seemed to satisfy him even more. Dessert: the manager offered us some bubbly at the start of our dinner, but Hubs had already ordered an Old Fashion, which also did not disappoint. I opted for no booze and she offered dessert instead, which we took her up on. We shared the cannoli. I love chocolate, hubs loves fruit, so it was a match made in heaven-- just like us. It was the perfect ending to the evening. I would typical dock a star for the mishap at the beginning of our meal, but the girl was "new" and I'm sure her manager had a teaching moment with her. The service and food all but made up for the mishap.

Then food was ordered. The server went around the table, but again had to be reminded that she did not take orders from everyone. About 30 minutes after the order was placed some salads came out, but not all of them. Then entrées started to arrive again for some people, but not all. The last three individuals to get their food were served around an hour and 15 minutes after the order was placed. I ordered the chop salad and the bruschetta appetizer. The chop salad had very little salami or cheese as described on the menu. The bruschetta was actually bread slices, not toasted, with a soft cheese spread and raw mushrooms. It was not very appetizing. My husband ordered the pasta carbonara and both of us, after one bite, described it as incredibly salty. We are huge carbonara fans and have ordered it at restaurants and made it at home many times. He picked out the guanciale and left about a third of the pasta because the salt level was off the chart! If we had not waited so long for our food already and been just the two of us, we would definitely have sent the pasta back. Much better restaurants in the area. Hopefully they get their act together because the location is awesome.

Tapp'd hits that rare sweet spot where it works just as well for a date night as it does for a full blown game day hangout. The headline feature is the self serve tap wall, which is basically permission to become your own bartender without the awkward small talk. When your glass runs dry, you don't wait around, you pivot. Try something new, double down on your favorite, live a little. And if beer isn't your thing, the bar staff can mix a cocktail that reminds you why bartenders exist in the first place. Now, the food. This is where people get blindsided, in a good way. The Quesabirria Tacos, Asada Street Tacos, and Taquitos de Pollo aren't just "good for a bar," they're flat out legit. The kind of food that makes you pause mid conversation and reconsider your priorities for a second. Service deserves its own shoutout. We were there on a Sunday night, and our server didn't miss a beat, checking in, keeping things moving, and somehow making it all look effortless. Worth noting: same ownership as Tri-City Taps, which explains why the formula works so well, great drinks, great food, and service that actually cares. Bottom line, if you're local, this should already be in your rotation. If you're visiting, this is one of those "don't leave town without it" spots.
