I couldn't have been farther off base in my assumption. The only similarity is the helpful staff working in the store, which gained this place an extra star. They greet patrons as they enter and offer to help them find things. Initially, I said I was going to browse around a little and pick up the things I needed. I ended up going back asking for help finding items I was looking for. The clerk working helped me look for the items I needed and then told me they are not actually an Ace Hardware Store anymore. They're an authorized Ace retailer, so they now sell some Ace products, but don't carry all normal items. She wasn't kidding! They don't carry most Ace products. No paint, no stain, etc. This place is mostly a feed store, I guess. I ended up going to Home Depot to get what I needed, they had it. I simply prefer to support the small businesses in a community. In this case, I bought two items at each place. I will try visiting another Ace hardware that's across town that the clerk recommended. I'm pretty sure I won't be back to this store.

I was the only customer in there at that time. I walked right past them & they never even acknowledged I was there. Until I had to ask one of them for a price on an item on the wall. She had to radio another employee & give the UPC code for a price. I also went out in to the garden area & saw some hanging lantana baskets that did not have a price on them either. I do not like to shop somewhere where the prices are not on the merchandise. I know they have been bought out & it is not like it use to be, where the employees were so friendly & helpful & would acknowledge their customers. Then, I get to the checkout & the guy asked if I had an account. Gave him 2 different phone #'s & nothing! I should have been in their system. It's very discouraging to say the least. They have some nice things but, a bit pricey on some. It may be awhile before I patronize their business again.

The gentleman that works here was very helpful, walked us thru the whole process & told us to return the trailer with his 24/7 self serve return whenever we liked as he is closed on Sundays. We picked up the trailer, picked up the antique & returned the trailer with no issues. However, the return did not process bc the web site was down. Another causality of the Digital Matrix apocalypse. Oopsy. Digital doesn't work without power derp derp. We prefer his wonderful customer to customer personal service better anyway. Also the seasonal Halloween and Christmas decorations were bright and colorful. The various animatronic characters were in full display. Parking is never an issue because the lot is humongous. Access is convenient through Fairfield Drive.
