Great place, delicious food. Must try. We usually go to the food truck in Paramount but came across their brick and mortar restaurant. The restaurant is small and really busy but service is good. The tacos gobernador were sooo good, I ordered the fried ones! Everything we ordered tasted delish and were hearty portions. We had a large family party of 8 and everything was made within a reasonable amount of time Ceviche rojo, cocteles, fish tacos,. Agua Fresca Drinks, Cold Beer, whatever you like in your staple mariscos restaurant they have here. The only thing I can say is the weather was Hot so the restaurant was a little warm. A couple of weeks later, I visited their lunch truck location and finally got to try the botana with Tuna. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. At $50, I found the serving size underwhelming, and the Tuna didn't look or taste fresh especially compared to how it's presented on their social media. This one's worth the hype. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon to a parking lot that was quickly filling up. To avoid a wait, I sat at the bar and ordered a drink within seconds. I paired my Modelo Negra with the Monchis Plate, and shared it with my girlfriend, which we both couldn't have finished alone. With plenty of tostadas and crackers provided, the meal was perfect. My favorite part of the Monchis Plate, however, was the aguachiles negros. If and when I'm not sharing a meal, I'll definitely be ordering the aguachiles negros all for myself. Unfortunately they got our order wrong. We had 2 orders of tostada de ceviche de camarón, no spice. Both were spicy as hell. So much so that we could barely eat it. We got one order of tostada cruda mixta camarón , no spice and it was 100% tostada de ceviche de camarón & also spicy af. When my daughter & I picked the order up, the about 7 females working the dining room were rude. Didn't acknowledge us whatsoever after standing there for several minutes. We've only been here twice and the first time we dined in and the same thing. I am very upset because our order was almost $70 for them just to mess it up and make it to where we couldn't even eat it. Such a waste of my money. Waitresses are very nice and helpful but be prepared for music playing a little loud. Ordered the botana trifecta and you choose the type of sauce, verde, roja or negra. They recommended Negra without mentioning there is an additional cost of $3 for that one. They provide all the tostadas or crackers you want and only sell canned sodas and beer. I went back to sit down, but people just kept coming in, making the front very crowded.
