    The Kraut Burger
    Sophia B.

Stopped in to see what all the fuss was about. Glad we did! I ordered the Kraut burger with onion rings which was very tasty. Hubby ordered a Cheeseburger with fries. Both were ordered medium and came out that way. Which normally doesn't always work out for us. This time the burger was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Chips, Salsa, & Beer Cheese appetizer witch was tasty too! Soda is ordered by the can Nd they have a whole wall of beer options for those of you that drink. Would like to have some non carb side options. Maybe some cucumbers and ranch or deviled eggs. Normally I don't eat that many carbs but I needed to try the full experience. Plenty of seating and the food came out quickly. We will be back! Nice and clean too.

This is a pretty cool family owned restaurant and bar in Georgetown. They have lots of beer options and many different kinds of burgers and hotdogs. I had a hotdog with sautéed peppers on it with some of their Diablo sauce and my head was sweating! It was good. The staff is very nice and the service is fast. They had live music there, there was a guy playing guitar and singing that was pretty good. The hamburgers are pretty expensive, and my wife said the patty was a frozen patty and it was just OK. The cheese curds were delicious .

So this is the El Diablo Dog with Buffalo fries and honestly it slaps. This was my first time here and I'm pretty impressed with the food and environment. Great spot for big parties too, and a wide selection of brews and foods. It's a hidden gem, tucked away.

Giving 5 stars because the food, friendly atmosphere and service was great. Although I think a " Seat yourself sign " would be helpful at the entry. Ordered the Goober Burger and hubby had the Jalapeño jam Burger and it was great casual dining.

We came on a Friday night during a holiday weekend, and the restaurant was lively with patrons cheering on the army football game. Food and drink was ordered at the bar, and our cashier (Becky?) was holding the floor down while still providing excellent service to our party - mad props to her customer service. We started off with the fancy fries - crispy truffle fries topped with Parmesan and a side of very garlicky aioli. We thoroughly enjoyed them, and none were left over once our main course came. My Diablo burger - made with chipotle aioli, fresh jalapeños, spicy relish, and a side of ghost pepper sauce - is not for the faint of heart. I consider myself to be a massive spiceaholic, and I found this to have a pronounced and satisfying heat. The onion rings, beer battered and fried, were tasty and crispy - a good choice for dipping into my ghost pepper sauce. A couple of mishaps, such as a longer wait for our friends' burgers as well as a side salad not being delivered alongside the rest of the food, did not sour our experience and I would highly recommend to those looking for tasty burgers and friendly service.

Literally the worst. Bad service. Bad food. Expensive. I would rather eat garbage and die

I like the place and it has great potential. There are a few kinks that need to be worked out but I'm sure they will be. I'll be going back.

We were able to change tables to accommodate more privacy. Casey was our server and so helpful. One of my family has dietary restrictions and Casey let us know the kitchen could rework almost anything to accommodate us. She also helped us get an order in before the happy hour ended. The artichoke dip well presented and good but not memorable. The old fashioned and margarita are excellent. For the main event I had the smoked pork chop. There is not a part of the dish I don't think was perfect. The chop, sauce, broccoli and slaw combined perfectly. I would say come back for this alone, but the tavern burger and chicken sandwich were great as well. The fries are crunchy on the outside and flaky inside. Grilled vegetables are an excellent side. You shouldn't leave without an order of the whiskey cake. "I only want a bite," doesn't exist. If you aren't very hungry start with dessert and add the main dish to go. Whiskey Cake has an exhaustive whiskey list and Wednesday has $7 pours which makes tasting easy. I hear brunch is excellent; I can't wait to try it.

Although it was a couple of hours before closing, they had all the chairs up on the tables except for the bar area - the bar was jam packed, it had nice vibe - everyone watching the games - but things could've been better if they had had a couple tables opened up, but I guess they were wanting to get out sooner rather than later Sam (new bartender to me) suggested I order an appetizer to enjoy while I was watching the game and said it probably would taste good with my beer... he handed me a laminated card that said appetizers were half price... I asked and Sam confirmed they were half price during their late night happy hour. I ordered the pepperoni flatbread, which was above average and considering it was half price. It really hit the spot. However, when I closed out and was presented with my check, the flatbread was at full price. I asked Sam about that and he said he would have to talk to his manager. He came back and said it was his fault. There was not a late night happy hour and that I would need to pay the full price - are you kidding me?? That is what his manager told him to tell me. He tried to make things a little better by giving me a card for a free appetizer on my next visit... Sam apologized and admitted it was his fault, but also try to explain the situation by saying he was fairly new and still learning, but I still scratch my head at the manager's response to the situation.

Still hungry we decided to go to Wrigleys. Walked in & got a table immediately & Collage football was on & we knew it was going to be a good time. Server came by & dropped off menus & stated she would be right back. When she came back, she had a big smile on her face & was so friendly. We asked questions about a few menu items & she helped us make delicious choices. The nachos are huge & so good. Quesadilla was huge too. We were very happy & full. It was a very relaxing visit Thank you to our wonderful server Carlee for making our visit so memorable. We will definitely be returning & having dessert next time. The food is always incredible, but what truly sets this place apart is the people. Kylie, Nathan, Maddie, and so many others on the team consistently go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and genuinely valued. Their kindness never feels forced -- it's just who they are. One moment that really stayed with me was when I brought my young niece, who has several allergies and can also be a bit picky with food. The chef personally came out to our table to ask thoughtful questions, understand her allergies better, and make sure she felt safe and comfortable eating there. That level of care meant so much to our family. Now that I'm pregnant, the staff continues to be just as attentive, accommodating, and thoughtful. They always make sure I'm comfortable and taken care of, and it honestly feels like visiting friends every time we walk through the door. Restaurants with great food are everywhere.
