I love the aesthetic of this place, it feels very comfortable and welcoming. Beside the very long wait to get seated my experience was great here. I loved the complimentary water and the cute mason jars, I also love all of the options they offer here. After a long time debating on what to get I finally settled on the loaded hash browns and let me tell you-- IT WAS AMAZING and our server was so friendly and she did her absolute best to make sure my group had a great experience at the Pan. Really yum, always super busy, friendly staff...but just curious, because other restaurants do it too-- chili verde vs. chile verde. .. Possible improvements...thicker bacon slices and only crispy/well done if requested, a more comfy waiting area (since there is always a wait ), and real glass mason jars instead of plastic. read more

Although I have enjoyed the food here on several past visits, the quality of service has steadily declined recently. I have had negative experiences related to waiting time after ordering when dining in, and also experienced excessive waiting time when picking up online orders. I am not sure if they are experiencing a shortage in staff but it has greatly affected their ability to provide food in a timely manner. read more

I was in the mood for pizza and wings and this place popped up as near me. For our first time, it was awesome. We got the garlic BBQ wings and a deep dish custom pepperoni and bacon pizza and let's just say, this has become a top favorite. Every dish they brought out for the other patrons had us drooling. Literally EVERY DISH looked great. The waitress was very informative and friendly. The prices are shocking for the quality. The entire experience was out of this world. We will definitely be regulars at this spot. Came back for our second time and pretty much had the same experience. Diana was our waitress again and as expected, she did an awesome job. I've never been to the pan and been disappointed. Our serve Nicolette was an absolute gem. Super kind and friendly to all her tables and too all who walked in. I ordered the steak and eggs and man was it amazing! My boyfriend also enjoyed his French toast meal. The pan is truly the best little spot to go if you're craving just about anything. Every employee I've encountered has been kind and attentive as well. Kudos to everyone here, great staff team! read more

I've been here a couple times and their breakfast is SO good! I definitely recommend the cinnamon roll pancakes and the buttermilk fried chicken. The service is also really good! I wish i had a more extensive vocabulary to tell you how delicious the food really is! Biscuits and gravy are one of my favorite breakfast items. I thought i had had the best biscuits and gravy until i tried The Pan, and they really took it to a whole new level. The flavor that they were able to pack into a biscuit is just out of this world. The biscut itself was buttery and flaky with a golden brown crusts, not too dense but just right. A velvet gravy to top the fluffy biscuit. I have never had a gravy with such a soft texture and a flavor that won't stop. The gravy starts off with a vevlety, creamy texture, and hits you with a pepper taste. The gravy to biscut ratio is just right. If you like a county breakfast it is a must try. I prefer my eggs sunny side up and was not dissapointed by the perfectly cooked eggwhites and goopey runny eggy yolks. Now to the hash browns, which have red potatoes and Bell pepper in them, nicely done. Bacon is bacon and ive never had a bad piece. Over all The Pan has changed breakfast for me in a very gourmet style. Breakfast is my least favorite meal because it is usually so plain, but The Pan has changed the game in such a good way. The service is fantastic and attentive. They have a great team that aims to please. I will say from the host to the server Laura, went above and beyond. I felt very welcome the entire time i was there. Even though this place is busy they find time to get personable with each customer. They keep a clean place to top it off. I hate to do this during these times but I tried to call the place and all I got was patronized. To start with my order was wrong, I was shorted but they claimed they repeated my order. Even if I caught the order wrong at the location, I didn't have another 20 minutes for them to get it right. Then to top it off I get one fork for two orders and one syrup. Yep one syrup for one order of pancakes and french toast. I'm more disappointed due to the fact that the prices definitely to not match the service. Sorry for this review. read more

The food is amazing, from the fluffy pancakes to the shrimp and grits! The wait time on the other hand is ridiculous. I checked in with Yelp which gave me a 30 minute wait. when I arrived at the restaurant I waited an hour before seated. Other than that the food is great! read more

I gave 2 stars only because my loaded hash browns were delicious BUT coming from the pan location in Gardena this place sucked when it came to customer service. I was finished with my meal by the time our server brought my toast out. ALSO, she didn't refill our drinks for 20 min from when we first got them and I had to WALK UP TO THE FRONT to inform her that we needed refills and that my toast still hadn't came with my meal which btw took FOREVER to come hence the empty drinks by the time our meal came. If you want to be sat down fast on the weekend this place is cool but if you want GOOD customer service along with good food I recommend the Gardena location. read more

They seated us right next to the kitchen on my birthday and there was so much noise. Then we asked to move when there were two open tables away from the kitchen and they wouldn't move us. The manager was so fake nice, but our server was pretty good. Ended up leaving and just going to corner bakery. First time here & it was busy. We were there Saturday morning 10am .. We waited 15 minutes for two people. Inside only tables & counter bar area. No booths but there's out door seating. Loved decor inside & exterior was wood not stucco which was cool. Food was good. And they had good BACON not that thin barely can tell its bacon .. we waited a while before our order was taken. It's good they're busy it shows they have good food. But they recently opened may need to hire more employees to handle the crowd. read more

I love this place and I enjoyed the food they provide, especially in the (2) Locations in Gardena. I've never really went to the Long Beach one. The food was good as usual but the service could use some work. I went with my dad and bought a to-go for my mom. I'm very disappointed that they packed my to-go order with only just the Waffle on my Eggs Breakfast. I did not get the eggs nor did I get the refund that they told me they would provide. So I basically lost $10.00 worth of a meal. I'm not sure if I want to go back to this location but this customer is completely disappointed in the service and it has been exactly a week and a few days since they said they'd refund the money to me. Still, I see nothing on my account. So I guess I lose $10.00 and not returning to this location anytime soon. Please note this is rating for the service and not the actual food. ok, so.....Ill start with the best part, the service. our waitress Nicole, was awesome, great attitude always smiling and attentive. My wife enjoyed her Scramble and the Pumpkin Pancake. but thought the topping on the pancake was too sweet for her. if you enjoy sweet, Go For It! my Pan Scramble was tasty, but a bit too "wet" . i prefer my scrambled eggs fluffy and a bit drier. over all, the place is cool, the food is definitly worth the price, the service is excellent, and we will come back. maybe for lunch. read more

Had the Cuban Sandwich. Porto's has nothing to fear. Lot's of meat but so salty! Tasteless cheese. Sloppy construction. The fries are those nasty coated, industrial fries you might get at a bad fast food place. It's a popular place but I have found that doesn't mean much in Long Beach. read more
