This pizza was made with love. I stopped by to get a pizza and found this place really small indoor / outdoor seating. I ordered online via their website but they have door dash available as well. Service was fast and nice really appreciate it. At first i thought the pizza was a bit pricey but totally worth it. I ordered the bbq chicken pizza which was really great loved the extra crispy mess on the crust although if they would have added some garlic to the crust would have been even better for me. Left me speechless. I order a Vodka Roni pizza and omg sooooo goood. It's definitely giving a NY slice!!! It's fresh and taste amazing. Not greasy at all which is why I loved it even more! Definitely didn't need any condiments on it! Very authentic. The service was great, the cashier was nice and explained to me how I can get my points in for rewards. Milana's wasn't perfect, but having originated from the New York area, I consider it to be pretty damn close to authentically delicious NY pizza. Their Sicilian was great and they had several unique flavors, like their signature vodka-roni pizza, which were impossible not to love. Sandwiches were also delectable; their chicken parm was a staple for me every time I needed a sandwich to bring to the beach. My one complaint always was, and will continue to be that they put the cheese on the pizza just... weirdly. They put on just a tiny little amount of cheese then cover it with marinara sauce so that it looks (and kind of tastes) like there's no cheese at all. No one in New York does that, lol. Just add a little bit more and put it on the top like everyone else; problem solved. Overall though, I'd classify them as pretty high quality, especially in SoCal area where legitimately good pizza is exceptionally hard to come by. read more

Everything was good, parking by the way sucks, construction going on so you need to park in the parking structures. Service was really good especially it being one of the hottest days of the week, they had the AC going so it made up for it, ambience is chill has slot of pictures and art work on walls from New York. Let's get started with the pizza, if you're not feeling a full entire pie they sell by the slice and that's a true new York pizza spot. Look up pictures for pizza pies thy have Sicilian pies as well and some Brooklyn style pies as well. I thought squared pies came from Detroit but who knows I might be wrong. I recommend the 18" pie of your feeling hungry and if you're with two others you might need to get two. We got the meat packing District! Picked up takeout from Milana's New York Pizzeria and it was excellent. The Margherita pizza was absolutely delicious with fresh flavors and a perfectly cooked crust. I also grabbed a black and white cookie for dessert, and it was surprisingly light and not overly sweet. Everything traveled well and tasted fresh when I got home. Definitely one of my favorite pizza spots in Downtown Long Beach and I'll be ordering again soon! read more

My sister-in-law brought Milana's goodies for the Olympics opening ceremonies this weekend because there's nothing better than sitting on the couch going face first into pizza and junk food while watching athletes in their physical prime perform. Most of us are non-meat eaters, so she brought honey garlic knots which the family happily devoured plus a green salad and three pizzas: NY Cheese, Grandma Green Eyes (pesto base w tomatoes) and White Pizza (garlic, spinach and ricotta). ALL were hits! NY style pizza is my favorite and this place did not disappoint. She traveled 15 miles to get to us, so the pies were not steaming hot by the time she arrived yet they were *still* delicious. We will definitely be going to the restaurant in the future. read more

Right next door to the braid shop I go to, my braider suggested it. They got our order wrong @ first. They gave us a regular pizza instead of these thicker deeper dish one. Had to wait an additional 15mins. The pizza was really good, fresh tasting. Received it and it was piping hot, burned my tongue. Wish they would have gave us some crushed peppers but when my braider went to go pick it up she was in a rush since this was the second time she had to come back while she was braiding my hair. Best pizza in long beach This place offers pizza by the slice And whole pizzas. when you walk in you can see all different pizzas behind the counter ready to order by the slice for around - 5 dollars on average You go up to the counter and order. To be honest I think It's a better deal if you order a whole pizza which will cost you about on average 30 I came here for lunch with my mom. I planned on getting a white pizza (which I'm obsessed with) but the friendly worker talked me into the Vodka - Roni one. (Vodka pink sauce with spicy pepperoni cups) side note, the pepperoni did not taste spicy to me at all This place also has pasta and other Italian food The ingredients tasted fresh and gave me nostalgic flashbacks from all my time spent in New York. I'd say this is your typical new York pizzeria. I'd have to say this is easily the best pizza in long beach. the dough was thin and crispy but not burnt, the perfect amount of sauce where it wasn't too overpowering and you could tell it was homemade and it was the perfect amount of grease where it comforted me without making me feel like a total grubby little monster. Next time I come back I'll have to try their white pizza Their ambience is nothing fancy. Typical pizzeria. But it was clean. So I'll give it 5 stars. Their customer service was GREAT. The guy behind the counter would greet everyone as soon as they walked in the door. He was really patient with us since it was our first time. He wasn't annoyed at all that we had questions and took a while to decide. So 5 stars for him! And for the food. A perfect 5 stars, BUT! I didn't like that I had to pay 1.50 for a side of SMALL ranch. I know I'm not the only lunatic that orders ranch with their pizza. Sure, I can see not getting 2-5 for free. But one? I think one should come with the pizza. For two drinks, a whole pizza and two ranches it came to around 42 dollars pre tip. Annnnd then I broke down and made another order for their 10 garlic knots which was another 13 dollars. So the prices did add up very quickly (I ordered the large knots because I wanted some leftovers to munch on during the night) The menu says honey garlic knots. I asked if they could do it without the honey and it was no problem The parking here is a bit crowded. It's meter parking and there are some parking garages in the area. Classic NY cheese hit the spot. I added ranch but $1.50 is very expensive for the small side of ranch. Buttermilk ranch is very good. Parking: there were meters right out front, only 25 cents for 25 minutes. Parking structure nearby as well, first two hours free. The GOOD - I had the Brooklyn Square pepperoni and it's really good! The sauce it what makes it stand out. I just wish there was a little less dough around the edge. The Bad - born and raised New Yorker here and their cheese slice is NOT EVEN close to a real NY slice. The flavor is just not there and the crust...wow it just fell apart in three places, just a poor texture with the crust. First off, this has to be one of the most expensive pizza slices in the country. Is it worth it? Sometimes. Yes the slices are great. I stand by my prior review. But I ordered a whole pizza and it came out soggy and not nearly as good as the slices. The salads are ok. Their Italian dressing has no seasoning and basically is just oil and vinegar. The owner is a total guido prick from New York. Wears a Yankess has and a veleur sweatsuit everytime he's in the place. Talks on his cellie like he's a mob boss. TLDR; best place for slices! Easy parking Milana's is so so soo stinkin good. It's easy to find, easy to park, easy to order & easy to eat. The staff is friendly and the food comes out fast. As someone that's lived on both coasts, I absolutely love Milana's slices and pies. It has an east coast vibe inside and they always have slices available when I swing by. This place isn't cheap but it's gooood! The cost does deter me from visiting more often but at least I'm getting a good amount of food when I pay like $19 for two slices read more

I've lived in Long Beach my whole life and I've never had anything as good as THAT! I stop by all the time and check the special and I have to say I am usually disappointed due to the fact that there are no pinwheels. Flavor combos are great, often times questionable. However that doesn't stop me from having a slice once in a while for a lunch, or a snack. NYC pizza by the slice in DTLB! Stopped by for a late lunch on weekday. Plenty of free parking in the nearby city lots. They had various prepar slices on display to complete, so chose a cheese and a mushroom/sausage and sat down for it to be heated to completion. They have bottled soda as well as a soda fountain serving pepsi products. A lot of NYC paraphernalia on the walls. Service was good: the two slices were delivered when done. The pizza slice itself was OK to Good, tasted like what a reheated New York slice should be, for a bit under $5 per. We self bussed, and were on our way pretty quick. Came here for a quick late night bite and I would say it's a good pizza spot. Staff was very friendly and assisted us with our questions. The crust for the pizza isn't as crispy and was more on the chewy side. The Brooklyn square crust was pretty crispy, a little too saucy for my liking however the burata balanced it out. The pepperoni and the infused honey also made it a lot better. The atmosphere was very New York as stated by the name. They have two locations on 4th and the other by the traffic circle at 2000 Ximeno Ave. I ordered for pick up curve side and everything went smooth from me calling and them coming out with my order. I got the Meatballs W/ Sauce & Ricotta $10 and the 2 NY Pizza Case Slices (pick two toppings on each $12) pep and sausage and onion with basil. Nothing but good things about this location.
