My recent order from the Belmont location was absolutely disappointing and lackluster. It was even more disappointing when you consider this was my cheat meal for the week and I had been seeing their posts and reels for some time now and I had built up quite a level of excitement. I ordered a 9' stuffed pizza with Rance's toppings and added pineapple. When I arrived at the location, they had my pizza ready, but without the pineapple. Fine, no problem. Took them a few minutes to add it, and left. The pizza was not showcased to me to verify anything. It wasn't until I got home, ready to dig in, that I noticed I didn't see any of my requested toppings. "Oh well, they're probably under all the tomatoes and cheese", I thought, "it IS a stuffed pizza after all". It wasn't until halfway through my pizza that it had literally NONE of the toppings I requested, except for the pineapple (which I had paid extra for, by the way). I grew up in central New Jersey, between two powerhouse pizza cities (New York & Phila.) so when it comes to pizza, I can be a pretty tough critic. This style has a cracker thin crust with a buttery taste. It was cut differently than regular pizza and I found that easy to eat. I ordered a 10' and for one, it's enough. Besides, I took a few pieces home. The taste of the sauce and toppings were good. I usually drink beer with my pizza but today, I just wanted a cold Mr. Pibb. Went perfectly with the pizza. We also shared the meatball appetizer which included 3 large meatballs and the best toast rounds we've ever had. They were perfectly toasted with a crispy exterior but soft and tender interior.
