I give this place a 10/10, and here's why. The Pan is officially one of my new favorite local breakfast spots. I've been looking for a good American-style breakfast place with a Southern touch, and this place absolutely delivered. First off, parking is easy because they have their own lot, already a win in Long Beach. The inside has a modern rustic diner vibe that feels cozy, clean, spacious, and welcoming without feeling overcrowded. I went on a Saturday morning around 9:30 AM, and although it was busy, the wait wasn't bad at all. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the vanilla latte and the shrimp and grits, and let me just say... the shrimp and grits were . Creamy, cheesy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and the portion size was generous enough for leftovers. Definitely some of the best shrimp and grits I've had locally. My cousin ordered the Lumberjack Special which comes with pancakes, sausage, eggs n potatoes but he upgraded his pancakes to one of the specialty pancakes; chocolate chip pancakes, which was an available option for a small upcharge. Overall, great food, great vibe, reasonable prices, and family-friendly. I'll definitely be back, this might become my regular breakfast spot.

The vibes in here are so cute. I really enjoyed the Beach aesthetics and they even had bingo so we got to play as we were finishing our meal it was so fun. The customer service was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. The food was so delicious. The chilaquiles were soooo good. I was very impressed. The French toast was alright, not sure I would get it again. We also got pizza to go and the sauce was saucing. Definitely recommend this place!

Ambiance: Very colorful, designed like a mom & pop breakfast spot. Service: I was disappointed with the service provided, our waitress was nice but she failed to come check on our party. We literally had to get up to find her. In addition, she let our plates pile up and forgot items that we ordered. Food: All pancakes were dry and hard to cut. Omelette was not seasoned, however the orange juice was freshly squeezed, and the fried battered chicken was delicious! I may give The Pan another try.

Located on Del Amo Blvd and Long Beach Blvd, this location is quite popular and was crowded when I visited - Wednesday mid-morning. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant that unfortunately was full which required us to wait 5 or so mins for someone to leave. Our party of 3 had a 30min wait for a table so we opted to sit at the counter. We were greeted right away with menus from our server. She took our drink and food order right away and our items were actually delivered in a timely manner. We chose The Lumberjack ($20) which comes with two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs any style, two bacon strips, two sausages, and house potatoes. You do have the option to upgrade to a specialty pancake or waffle for an additional $2. Portions are generous and everything was cooked perfectly, including the over-easy eggs. We opted for hash browns instead of house potatoes. Hash browns were crispy and what I really appreciated was the bacon was cooked thoroughly - no fatty pieces like how a lot of other places serve. The PANCAKES, oh my goodness! They are SO. FRICKEN. DELICIOUS. They were fluffy, buttery, and just the right amount of sweetness - these are a must try! Two pancakes and a scoop of butter - my absolute favorite item of the whole meal. We also chose the "Original" Loaded Hash Browns ($18) which is two eggs any style served on top of hash browns, bacon, sausage, and sprinkled with jack and cheddar cheese and topped with sour cream, green onions, and thennnnn, drizzled with chili aioli. Greasy, meaty, goodness! It is a lot of food for the price so make sure to come hungry. Overall, this place is quite popular as I remember like 8 or so years ago they only had like one location in Gardena and now we're up to 5! Service wasn't great at the end. We never were checked on by our initial server who took our order after the food was delivered and we waited 10 or so mins once we were done eating to get a to-go box and our check. I had to get up and approach the service area to finally close out my bill. I do know that every place in every type of industry (food, hospitality, hospitals, etc.) are understaffed but what I didn't like was there were other staff members standing around. IMO, they could circulate and fill in gaps with service - such as, clearing tables, refilling beverages, asking if tables needed anything - things to help out the servers! Delicious food options but don't visit if you're in a rush!

The wait here was quite long even on a weekday afternoon. The party in front of us actually spoke to the manager because the hostess was quite rude and dismissive to him regarding the wait and any information about that. Once I got sat and actually ate, it was your standard kitschy brunch spot. What I got: Pastrami Fries, Biscuits and Gravy, Loaded Hashbrowns. Everything was fine. Again, it looks and tastes like every other brunch spot in California. I don;t really like breakfast/brunch food like that, but it really was just fine. I'm assuming that you could get similar levels of food for less of a wait at other places, so I would probably just recommend your favorite local diner. This was good if you have a bit of time to kill with your party. Nothing special though.

To begin with The Pan has a delicious two egg breakfast, two bacons,a slice of toast,hashbrowns or potatoes for a whopping $16, absolutely overpriced! With serving only two pieces bacon. This is just my opinion and experience with plenty of breakfast spots. The shrimp and grits are very good,and you do get a healthy portion, but for 20 plus dollars,it does not come with any breads at all,but you have the option of ordering separately at an additional cost! The ambiance is bright and refreshing,restrooms clean,and plenty of parking in lot(formly the Sizzler). I happen to attend on a Monday evening for bingo it was really fun! I won twice that evening, your first card is complimentary with a $10 purchase of something,thereafter,the cards are $5 per game. You get to spend a winners wheel for lots of prizes, including cash! Now I ordered a pastrami sandwich,and when I tell you it was disgusting, it was awful,the meat was fried to a crisp,I thought it would be steamed pastrami meat(my bad)! It also came with grilled onions,if you happen to go for onions on your pastrami sandwich. I chose sweet potato fries,which tasted like they were cooked in meat grease! Just horrible! I will never order that again! Will I return and try other items from the menu,yes, the pastrami sandwich just isn't the right choice for me, you may like it lol! With that being said let me know you guys thoughts on it when you go!

This is my spot for breakfast. Whenever we wanna eat really good breakfast. This is my wife's favorite Breakfast Location. We've never been here for bingo night since we were both off and had time we came in for dinner to play some bingo. It was pretty cool. We'll come back again.its way more empty at nights for sure so they kept checking up on us often. The host was nice also she did a really good job hosting the bingo game .

Did an online order for pickup on a Sunday. It was packed inside. They sent me a text saying it was now ready. That was much earlier than expected. Was expecting everything to be all good. Food was much better this time... But they forgot an order, so we had to come back. They actually forgot to make the pizza in the first place. Will I be back? No. Would I recommend? The food is good, not great, so probably not.

The Pan has been recommended to me by a few people so I went in with high hopes. There were some recommendations made, but the only recs we followed were the Blueberry Lemon and guava pancakes. The real star of the show was the Guava n Cream Pancakes! I'd go back time and time again for them. We also had the green chile hash (which was good), the kielbasa omelet (there were a ton of bell peppers which took over the flavor), French toast breakfast (pretty standard, nothing amazing) and the lemon blueberry pancakes (house made lemon butter was so dang good, but we didn't really care for the pancake itself). The place was really busy, and our waitress still gave amazing service! Overall, I'd go again... but this time order the meals that were recommended.

Today was my first time at The Pan, I've always seen lines outside so I was finally able to try it. I get the hype. Very friendly staff and clean and cute inside. They had a lot of bar drinks that looked amazing and I'll try next time. We got the guava and cream pancakes and the lumberjack. The pancakes were perfect, no notes. This was my 2nd time here. Food was amazing. My best friend and I split the steak and eggs with the specialty strawberry pancake and asada fries. We also had the guava mimosa, soo good. What made our experience even better and worth my time to leave a review was the service provided by Adrien. My Mother's Day experience at The Pan on DelAmo was outstanding. My food was absolutely delicious! I had the Steak & Eggs breakfast. My server Kaileen was simply wonderful. They open at 9:00am for breakfast so take note. Food is good and nice portions. I had the Mediterranean omelet and it was stuffed full of spinach, artichokes and feta. Side of potatoes with peppers and sourdough toast. My only suggestions is more comfortable chairs (which I know probably won't happen because it's a big investment), offer truvia or stevia, and have some homemade jellies or jams. Otherwise it was great and it was packed by the time we left! read more

This is not equivalent to the old Pan off of Long Beach Blvd.. the food was so bland that I could not even force myself to finish it. Not one person in my party was happy with their order except the toddler with her pizza. The ambience was nice and location and parking are good, the wait time didn't match the amount of ppl that were inside, plenty of open tables but we still had to wait 45 mins. Oh and even the drinks were not good, had to lick the sugar rim of the cup for the lemonade to taste decent. Asked the waiter for my ice water and table setting no less than 4 times. Discouraged me from wanting to ask for anything else including a straw. Needless to say I won't be going back. read more

first timers I brought my kids here for a celebratory breakfast and I couldn't have picked a better place. I accidentally drove to the old location and seen that the new location was only 5 minutes away so I went . It was pretty packed but we got seated pretty quickly for a party of 4 . We got seated in a nice roomy booth by the window nice lighting and all , the menu was so extensive they had basically anything you might want to eat . And everything looked so good too . I immediately flipped the menu to the specialty pancakes side and my eyes lit up when I seen "lemon" I love anything lemon so they were right up my alley . At my table there was lemon pancakes , chocolate chip waffle , cinnamon roll pancakes and fish and chips ordered . Everyone said their food was good . My lemon pancakes were delicious I would definitely come back read more

After spending a weekend in Long Beach and not being completely satisfied with anything we ate for breakfast, lunch or dinner, our visit to the Pan was a treat. We arrive on a Sunday afternoon around noon, we waited maybe 10 minutes for a table, score! I was torn between quite a few items, in particular the lemon pancakes and the Fried Chicken breakfast special. I honestly couldn't decide and the server told me both items were two of her favs so I went on and order both, yes both. No shame here! The lemon pancakes tastes EXACTLY like lemon meringue pie. I mean exactly like lemon meringue pie with pancake crust, imagine that! The fried chicken breakfast special was unlike anything I've ever had. It was a nice, juicy, well-seasoned piece of fried chicken breast on top of a fried corn cake, sauteed spinach, topped with 2 eggs anyway you like (I got my eggs scrambled), smothered in a red pepper gravy. Oh, Mem, Geeee This goes down as one of the best fried chicken breakfast sandwiches I've ever tried in my entire life. Since I ordered 2 breakfast items I had plenty of leftovers. Later that evening I heated both dishes up for an early dinner and everything taste just like it did when it was served to me on a platter in the restaurant. The server told me she's been working there for about 3 years and only had 1 person tell her they didn't like the dish. I can't imagine why. Food is amazing as always. I have eaten at all of the locations around Southern Cali. Today I had the pan French toast and it was good as always with larger portions and cooked to perfection. Colette hooked us up with continued bottomless mimosas and we were feeling good and full. I Would recommend trying any of their locations. I always eat the same thing(French toast) but will branch out to something different next time. Check it out. read more

Wait was 45 minutes- I thought this Meant this place was going to be amazing...."meh" Loaded hash/ the chipotle aioli was over powering and ruined the dish French toast was dry...like it's the wrong bread for the dish Beef eggs Benedict was a miss Pancakes were great!!!! Definitely a hidden gem in the LBC. Wow! So happy I found this place. I've been trying different breakfast spots lately and this is definitely my new favorite. Cute little restaurant with super chill vibes. Our server was so attentive and had an great sense of humor. Sad I cant think of her name, but she has a sleeve and was so friendly! Definitely a main contributing factor to our wonderful experience. Came here Saturday around 11 for a late breakfast with my family. The wait was a little over an hour, but it wasn't too bad since you are able to check in via Yelp. Parking was a little tough since the parking lot is so small and all the spots are reserved for the other businesses around, but we were able to find street parking. As soon as we parked, i got a text that our table was ready. Went up to check in with the hostess and we were seated immediately. Our server greeted us with a huge smile and amazing vibes. Everything we ordered was delicious! I had a veggie omelet and upgraded my toast to a buttermilk pancake. The pancakes are literally cooked to perfection. Fluffy and melt in your mouth goodness. We also go the ultimate crepe, cinnamon roll pancakes, and the original loaded hashbrowns. All in all, wonderful atmosphere, great service, amazing food, and good prices. What more can one ask for?! As i was eating my breakfast, I was already thinking of what I wanted to try the next time i come here. LOL! Its that good. Cant wait to come back! read more

I LOVE this place so much!!! I haven't been to the new location just yet but going to wait for them to start those mimosas back up..it's a vibe! Nic C. was my server the last time I was there a few weeks ago. Couldn't have asked for a better server. Service was good - the servers were attentive and knew the menu well. My mother had the shrimp and grits & it was yummy!! I had the southern I didn't really like the presentation of the biscuits and gravy looked, but it was flavored well. Portion sizes are appropriate. Restaurant was very clean. This was our first time to try The Pan, came across it as we were looking for something different in the area. Soooooo glad we decided to give this place a try. The food was delicious!!! We ordered The "Original" Loaded Hash Browns and added a side of Biscuits and Gravy. SO yummy, the chili aioli really complemented the dish. Would definitely come back just to order the loaded hash browns with biscuits & gravy again it was THAT GOOD! We also ordered The "Best Ever" Banana Pancakes, Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, Raspberry Pancakes and the Jinx's Buffalo Blue Sammy served with seasoned fries. Pancakes were good and my son said that the Jinx Buffalo Blue Sammy was spicy but really tasty! If you haven't tried The Pan, you should definitely give it a try. Planning on coming back again very soon since they have a really large menu. From the looks of it they serve Breakfast All Day, plus a wide selection of Lunch and Dinner options. They also have variety of Pizzas too! Keep in mind that the wait is kind of long, but that's because they cook the food fresh to order and in my opinion, it's worth the wait. read more

This place is worth the wait....and you will be waiting. LOL. We ordered online on a Sunday and the wait was an hour. When we arrived people that wanted to dine in had to wait much longer. The food is excellent though. I had the pineapple upside down pancakes with sausage. It's a bit pricey since if you want to have a full meal you have to sides a la carte, but it is tasty. It's a small location, so I never really want to sit in. The system of picking up orders mixed in with those wanting to dine in could be smoother but overall if the food is good then so am I. read more

Went on Saturday afternoon for breakfast, delicious and left with food coma! The wait was long, but totally worth it. I recommend you reserve before heading over to the restaurant. Yelp, has the system to add you and hold your spot. Use that system. Parking lot is very small. I parked outside the plaza by the boba cafe, lots of parking. I highly recommend that spot. Did I mention they have bottomless mimosas for an hour. We only got one glass since we wanted to try the Sangria. Both drinks were tasty. First time visiting, definitely going to make a point to visit all locations or simply visiting this location more regularly. Service was amazing! The young gentlemen suggested great items and expressed the popular items. Overall great experience if you don't mind the wait. read more

The Food was excellent. The Service was first class. However one huge issue was the restroom. The restroom is disgustingly filthy. They need a lot of bleach or ammonia. The floor needs a serious scrubbing and a few broken tiles need to be replaced. We've been trying to get in since they opened. The food and service didn't disappoint. I've been to the location in Gardena and this one in Long Beach. Let me tell you that I've had excellent service in both locations. The Long Beach location offers a bigger set up but the ambiance in the Gardena location is cute and old school. The food is delicious. I've had their hash brown scramble with cinnamon roll pancakes. Also, they have mimosas and other alcoholic drink options for any occasion. Overall, great experience! ‍ read more

The Miracle pop-up at The Ordinarie is somehow even more decorated and extravagant than you'd expect from a seasonal pop-up. The line looks long outside, as there are no reservations, but it moves quickly since they hold everybody to a pretty strict 2-hour time limit. The drinks are good, the cups are cute, and everyone is festive. It's an all-around fun experience. I think because of this, you do pay a premium price tag for food and drinks that are just good or okay. I think it's something that is worth the visit if you've never been and you enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit. I think that outside of the pop-up, The Ordinarie is a fun spot to check out in Long Beach. It't not a pillar of the food scene if you're a tourist, but it is a good, late night spot if you work in the industry nearby. They have a great late-night menu with a killer smash burger.

Side of bacon $6 for two measly pieces - overcooked and too crunchy. I could tell the bacon would have been good if it was more on the meaty/chewy side. This came with a potato pancake which was like mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and then fried. Service was okay, I think because it was pretty busy. They may need more staff to help the servers with drink refills and to check in more frequently. Lastly, our table was very wobbly and we had to fix it with sugar packets otherwise our drinks would have toppled.

Training can be a little hectic some times when you're in the service industry and sometimes it can slow service down. Our server Ben was on it. We had the grilled artichoke, chicken piccata, and the cioppino. All very very delightful. During our dining experience I needed to use the restroom. The smell in their bathroom was amazing. Probably one of the best smelling restrooms I had ever. When I was leaving, I politely ask the hostess if she knew what the name of the smell was bc it was so awesome. She wasn't telling me the exact name. She essentially told me the essence. While in the middle of her talking, a female manager aggressively told us that they were not aloud to tell patrons the scent. Hey, I get it, but as a person who was a manager for one of the highest ranking upscale casual dining restaurants, who has worked in 5 star resorts, knowing how to provide kindness to both guests and staff, this manager did not present those skills. This manager was quite frankly disrespectful not only to her staff, but to me. There is a way to handle situations without embarrassing your staff member and making them feel small and showcasing your flex of power to a diner who was about to drop hundreds for a dinner in our volatile economy. This manager did NOT handle this appropriately. Like i said, she was rude, extremely aggressive to respond, and not once smiled and said, "I'm so glad you love it. It's our secret to get you to come back." She did try to say it was a secret, but seriously... with the way she treated her staff.... I think she better focus on hospitality rather than the scent in the bathroom. After this interaction, I actually watched and observed the manager during the remaining time of our dinner. I wanted to see how she interacted with her staff. I wanted to see if she knew how to manage without flexing on her staff bc obviously she doesn't know that words matter and what you say and how you say it can make or break your staff's entire night which can reflect on how they treat their guests. I get this is lengthy over a restroom scent, but as a person who thrives on seeing the beauty in how a management team can make a huge impact on the success of a company, if she's openly rude and aggressive to me and her hostess, how is she with the rest of the staff and guests? Just a little food for thought. I will say, that interaction totally changed my view for the remaining time of our dinner. I truly hope that the female manager who was working last night June 1 reads this and changes the way she handles situations. From what I saw and experienced, she needs to take a step back and regroup. She needs to be retrained on how to treat her staff, how to smile with kindness, and how to kindly make a joke about the scent kindly with laughter rather than an attack on her staff. To the hostess: I'm sorry you had to be treated that way. You were incredibly kind from upon greeting us even to the very end. You're awesome. I'll return back, but I do hope next time, the manager from last night is on a better wave length as the people who help create her position. There are a lot of great managers out there willing to take that place.

My wife and I were trying a Thai spot when we saw great looking pizzas being brought to people at outside tables so we had to go and give it a try. So glad we did. The place is pretty cool and bigger than expected. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as some common tables in front of the entrance. Service was good. It's an order at the front counter and take a number to your table and they bring the food to you. We went with three family members and got two different pizzas and both were so good. One was a loaded pepperoni with a hot honey sauce and the other had ricotta cheese with pepperoni and pickled jalapeños (the red ones). Absolutely delicious We also ordered fried onion rings (which I did not try as I don't do onions) and fried zucchini sticks. The sticks were very good but I was thrilled with the dip as it had dill and I should have just asked for ranch. I'm told the onion rings were very good. They came with a honey mustard sauce dipper which went great with the zucchini sticks by the way. We saw some very good looking chicken wings being served to other tables and plan to try those next time. Parking in this area can be tough at times however it's worth the effort believe me.

From the gentleman outside who greeted us and took the time to explain what to expect, to the owner who personally welcomed us and convinced me to try his favorite wine (and I don't even like wine--but it was delicious), the experience was top-tier. The other issues was that the table was so small, and the food wasn't coursed out right, the table quickly became over crowded and the servers sort of just drop it whenever without prepping more space beforehand, I felt rushed to box food I wasn't finished with to make room for another incoming dish. The backyard seating is quaint, overall homey vibe. Pizza was just OK, the Cacio e Pepe was good as well as the bread service. Would come again, but my expectations will be just a little lowered for next time.

We got water immediately and placed our order right away. We got the large double pepperoni and it was huge. The cheese curds were delicious as well. The Brussels were good but I prefer the cheese curds. All the food came out quickly. Our server was great. It is a little pricey but its worth supporting this business. Im really happy there is a great neighborhood spot now.

I love the food here. It's the service that usually kills me. Today it was a bit of both. PARKING IS HORRIBLE. (It's not Pan's fault but just know this when you go. If you see an available spot on the street, take it!) Walked in and waited 15 mins before someone acknowledged us waiting by the, "Please wait to be seated sign" then we were walked to our table and asked to wait while the waitress cleaned it before we could sit down. So we finally sit down and wait for a bit and a different waiter comes over to get our drink order. Coffee, water, and lemonade. 15 mins later the coffee arrives and it's been spilled all over the creamer. (Fresh creamer is why the have a two-star rating right now). Hopefully, the coffee that's spilled all over my creamer is from my cup of coffee. Now I've poured my creamer added a packet of sugar and no spoon to stir and no straw for my son's lemonade. We asked It took a half-hour for the food to arrive. My son's breakfast had his scrambled eggs sitting a pile of powdered sugar. That's just gross. The pancake should have been on its own plate. The potatoes were cooked in oil that was a little rancid. Kind of a fishy taste. Everything else was really good. Spoon and straw are requested and come after the food is served. WATCH OUT FOR THE PEPPER!!!! The pepper is finely ground and it comes out of the shaker so fast it's very easy to ruin a meal. The water that I ordered with my coffee when I first sat down arrived 10 mins after the food did because I ordered it again. If it was a busy day that'd be a different story. Oh ya. My legs were going numb because of the poorly cushioned seat that had a board pressing into my legs. And the whole time there was a spray bottle of cleaner at our table. I am writing to provide feedback following a recent visit to your restaurant on May 18, 2025 to celebrate my daughter's graduation. While we have enjoyed previous visits to your Long Beach Boulevard location, this experience at your new location left us somewhat disappointed. We arrived without a reservation and experienced a 45-minute wait. While our server was initially pleasant, she appeared rushed and her attentiveness diminished when we asked clarifying questions about the menu. This resulted in several repeat visits to our table and a feeling that our inquiries were somewhat unwelcomed. Regarding our meal, my daughter's order of loaded hash browns was minimal in taste and my house made potatoes with bell peppers and onions were initially served cold. Although a replacement was provided, this second serving was only lukewarm. The replacement of your previously "homemade potatoes" with a different preparation was also disappointing. My biscuits and sausage gravy, however, were excellent. While I appreciate the server's efforts, the combination of rushed service, initially cold food, and the altered potato preparation impacted our overall dining experience. I hope that you will consider this feedback as an opportunity to improve service standards and clarify your menu descriptions. We value your establishment and would appreciate the chance to enjoy a more positive experience in the future. read more

Yikes. My step-mom is in town and we always try to eat breakfast at a different restaurant every time she visits. I've lived a couple of miles from The Pan for years and finally decided we should try it out. I found the Yelp waitlist option and got us set up. The wait time said it should be between 60 - 80 minutes. No problem. That's why we did the online sign-in. We arrived at the recommended time and ended up waiting an additional half an hour. After we finally made it to the table the waitress took our order and said we'd have our food soon. She checked in every 15-20 minutes or so to say that our food would be right up. On the last check-in she said, "Your food really IS the next one up now." ... So the rest of the time she was just walking around telling us we'd be getting our food soon because it seemed like the right noises to make? About 50 minutes after we sat down we got our food. And it was solidly mediocre. My step-mom and I both got the french toast. It was tough and dry. My boyfriend's omelet seemed fine. He didn't say anything. We came in for brunch at 11:00, devoured our food in minutes when it finally got to us because we were so hungry from all of that waiting. Once we finally got to pay for our meal we ended up leaving at around 1:30. I get that they're busy, but honestly the food isn't worth the wait. We won't be going back. read more

I recently visited The Pan, and overall, it was a great experience! Parking is a bit tight for the amount of customers this place draws, but there is street parking available, though the neighborhood is a bit rough. Walking into the restaurant, I was immediately struck by how cute and spacious it was. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was friendly from the start. For this visit, we ordered the "Original" Loaded Hash Browns, Banana Pancakes, Tiramisu Pancakes, and Steak 'N' Eggs. The "Original" Loaded Hash Browns: These were flavorful and definitely lived up to the "loaded" name. With ketchup and hot sauce, they were perfect! Steak 'N' Eggs: The steak was cooked perfectly medium, and the eggs were good. The potatoes, however, were a bit soggy. I asked for some A1 sauce to add more flavor. Banana Pancakes: Delicious! They hit the spot. Tiramisu Pancakes: Unfortunately, these weren't my favorite. They were a bit soggy and too overly sweet for my liking. Our service was efficient, and we got our food in a decent amount of time. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend The Pan to anyone looking for a good breakfast, brunch, or lunch spot. read more

I've been to the Gardena location and am so much more impressed by Long Beach's restaurant. Much more spacious and the decor is country farm chic. I went on a Friday morning for breakfast with a friend and we had no wait at all. It was fairly busy but customer service by the waiters and waitresses was great and kept the restaurant flowing smoothly. We ordered mimosas and the ultimate hashbrowns with a specialty pancake each. The pancakes are quite large so 1 was enough for the both of us since we were also sharing the hashbrowns. The raspberry pancakes were unreal. So delicious. And the ultimate hashbrowns are always incredible. The sausage, bacon, egg combo with the chipotle aioli are so perfect. The only reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because parking is very limited, even on a Friday morning. I'm guessing weekends are even busier. Also, throughout our meal there were flies buzzing around which didn't add much of a positive note to our experience. But the food and great customer service will keep me coming back to this location. read more

I had a wonderful experience at The Pan on Del Amo Blvd. and Long Beach Blvd. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming smile. My server, Lilith, was incredibly friendly and attentive (I even joked that she looked a bit like Chappell Roan haha)! I made sure to let her know how much I appreciated her great service. Keep up the awesome work! It's so refreshing to visit a restaurant that truly values good customer service. I ordered the cheeseburger and upgraded to the chili cheese fries. The burger was tasty, but oh boy, those chili cheese fries were delicious! They were so good, I couldn't even finish the burger. Between the amazing food and the genuinely friendly service, I definitely want to come back and try the breakfast menu. First time there so I'm only giving it a 3 star. They have a large menu thus the 3 star. So much more food to try. I had the green chili hash. It wasn't bad. It had no heat to taste. The taste of the chili verde was very subtle but the pork was cooked very well. They charge you extra for pico de gallo or extra sauce. You get one slice of toast that's not butter so by the time you get it the toast was already cold to butter. My friend had the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. She really enjoyed it but said it needed pickles. They did not charge extra for pickles. It appeared they didn't have enough staff as there were empty tables with a 35-45 minute wait to be seated. Staff were very nice and service was good. I will definitely be back to try other food options . Very clean restaurant and restrooms too. read more

To start off they forgot we were on the waiting list , we had to remind them since they were sitting other people Down . Once we told them we've have been waiting , he Didn't even apologize and just said you can just have a table then. Once we finally order it took the long to bring it out. The waitress said sorry about it but the manager decided it would be a brilliant idea to give us our burger without their fries , Because she said she didn't want the burgers to get cold . Like what the hell ???!!!! don't you guys do everything together?? When I told her that we were upset and my boyfriend was already finished eating his burger she said will you can have it to go then. I never do Yelp reviews. But this place gets one from me because I love it that much. Diana is awesome! Very upbeat, helpful, and attentive. The rest of the staff are excellent as well - always helpful, enthusiastic, and friendly. The food is always amazing. Loaded hash browns--which is pretty much their signature entree--as well as the Lumberjack breakfast are my go-tos. I also have yet to find a place whose pancakes are at the same level as the Pan's. They are seriously mouth-watering. Chocolate peanut butter pancakes--get in my bellay! On the weekend mornings especially, you will have to wait. Sometimes 45 minutes to an hour. But I'm telling you, it's worth it. The Pan will always be a go-to! Thanks for always serving us amazing food with amazing customer service! read more

My family and I drove 20 minutes to try this place. We were all so excited to try it because it was recommended to us. We checked their hours in advance and it said they closed at 9pm. I checked Google, Apple Maps, and Yelp and no where did it said they closed at 2pm. Either way we arrived at 11:30 and they told us they weren't taking people anymore and that they were already closed and completely full. but they close at 2pm when its only 11:30. We also checked inside there were sitting areas and they had many empty tables, but they were "reserved" The guy that was in the front telling us this was so rude and had an attitude. Save your time and don't come to this place. I can see why they have a 4.0 stars. If there was the option I would 0/5 Stars. read more

The Pan recently relocated, a strategic decision resulting in a larger venue with increased parking availability, although parking remains somewhat problematic compared to the previous location. Due to the expanded space, patrons should anticipate waiting times of at least 40 minutes or more. Despite the bustling environment, the service was commendable considering the level of business. Unfortunately, my usual indulgence of unlimited mimosas, priced at $22, has been discontinued. Instead, they now offer a $33 bottle of champagne with an additional $4 for orange juice. The food quality was satisfactory, and overall, I have no complaints about the relocation. I also want to highlight the excellent service provided by Maria and Julian. read more

One of the best brunch/breakfast spots in Long Beach. Went in about 1:26pm with absolutely no wait time. Came in with a party of 4, as soon as we were seated Laura took our drink orders, we had two cocktails, a mimosa, and a michelada and let me just tell you that the michelada Laura prepared for us had to be one of the BEST ones I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend with a modelo. We all had the loaded hash brows with eggs over easy, the taste was amazing, add a little sour creme and avocado and it's best breakfast for a hang over. Over all had an awesome experience, would definitely return. Laura is amazing she's super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Hopefully next time we go she's our host/waiters again. read more

I recently had breakfast at The Pan and was really impressed with both the food and the service. Our server, Arlene, was fantastic from the moment we sat down. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I ordered the steak and eggs, and it was delicious--the steak was perfectly cooked and the eggs were just right (im a hard critic on steak and eggs). Arlene checked in on us at the perfect times, making sure we had everything we needed without hovering. Her recommendations were spot-on too with her recommendation for my relatives chile verde burrito! I visited the Pan this morning with a friend and had an incredibly frustrating experience. After being seated, we waited over 30-40 minutes without any service. Despite making eye contact and trying to get the attention of the staff, they continually walked past us, ignoring our presence entirely. We eventually decided to leave, and as we walked out, we overheard the staff whispering about us. It was clear they knew we were there but chose not to greet or serve us. The hostess seemed out of it, which added to the overall unprofessional atmosphere. We left feeling completely disregarded and will not be returning. If you value being acknowledged as a customer, I would suggest looking elsewhere. read more

I decided go for pizza in The PAN with my mom. I ordered pizza. Your team member served my ordered with a unique manner and good attitude. The price was so worth it. This is a quality ,reliable place for a delicious and Yammy Lunch. The Lunch was also good and tasty. The salad was also Amazing!! Great Food!!! Love this unassuming spot located in a small little busy road. Inside was very quite and cute. They have a lot of Manu option . So that's Why The service so unique and amazing. Today I had the pleasure of trying this establishment for the first time. I loved the look and was promptly greated by a nice young man named Steven. I was unsure on what to order due to everything sounded so good. My server Laura gave me a great suggestion. I had the Lumber Jack and upgraded the pancakes to specialty pancakes (Cinnimon roll flavored). I loved everything. I was bragging on The Pans and took my mom. I had the shrimp and grits, flavor was good, but only received like a scoop of grits covered with their sauce, told the wItress I needed some more grits, they charged me for a additional side of grits. My mom had the crab cakes w/eggs benefits the inside of the crab meat was real dark so she didn't like or want them, mom told the waitress and their was nothing, they even charged $2.00 for blackberry butter and $8.00 for a chicken breast.
