There's nothing overly fancy about them, but the whole experience feels like something straight out of an old '50s movie, and I really enjoyed that nostalgic atmosphere. The customer service was great, and I really enjoyed being able to sit down and watch them make my burger through the big glass window. Great Butger Stand! I have been wanting to try Bixby Classic Butger for a few years and finally we were in the area and hungry! It's an outdoor stand, walk-up (no drive-thru), with some picnic tables to dine onsite. It's located next to a Dollar Tree store and shares the lot, plenty of parking! Menu has both burgers and dogs and many different ways to have them. We kept it simple for our first visit, one Hambrger combo (fries and drink), and one cheeseburger with drink. It took some tome to wait while the food was prepared, which is fine as we new it woukd be fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful! The burgers came on a very fresh bun! Lots of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and fresh onions along with a sauce. Very close to an In N Out burger (I am a huge fan!). The fries were excellent, fat type with great seasoning. The combo came with a large amount if fries so glad we decided to share. My only comment was the patty to lettuce ratio. Such a large amount of lettuce vs meat. Solution, next visit a double! Not enough stars to give this place I'll say I'll start off with the service and Service with a smile. You don't get this type of service anywhere anymore. Also, the burgers are amazing clean tasty and a fan favorite. This is my go to place it was my daughter's decision to try it ever since then we make it a point to go every Friday. The chili dogs are amazing. Chili is great. I would recommend this place to children and adults and they seem to care about the quality they put in front of your face. From the lettuce to the tomatoes to the thousand Island isn't just water down. My only complaint is my tummy is too small to eat more when I get there my eight year-old always wants two burgers. The pink lemonade is a little too sweet for me so I add a little water and that does the trick, but that's a me issue. I've ever have to wait long. Definitely my favorite burger place in LB! I've only been a few times, but I usually get The Big Bixby. It's a massive burger with 4 patties! When I first went, I was a bit worried they wouldn't be able to do a lettuce wrapped version of their burgers. But, they do! I've been trying to decrease the amount of carbs I eat, but still need to feel full. So, eating at Bixby Classic Burger definitely helps with that! The patties themselves are delicious! They taste like In-n-Out patties, but slightly better seasoning. The patties are also a little bit thicker as well. The guy at the window is friendly, patient and takes your orders pretty quickly. Beast mode fries- covered in cheese, grilled onions, and delicious homemade chili. Well constructed with a lovely cheese pull. Hotdog with ketchup- high quality hotdog with a grilled bun. I like the hotdog/bun ratio to be pretty even and this was. I don't want a bunch of hotdog sticking out of the bun. Lettuce, wrapped single cheeseburger - like I said it's better than In-N-Out. Held together well despite me forgetting to ask for no sauce. That used to be my go to burger at In-N-Out, double-double protein style, no spread, raw onions. Bixby Classic Burgers has ruined all other burgers for me. We also got a single cheeseburger on a bun. I forgot to order grilled onions and they put raw onions which I had asked for. We just ate here for the first time, everything was quite tasty. It is very similar to In-N-Out, except the burger patties are not overcooked and the french fries are much better. And I do like In-N-Out fries but the fries here are super fresh, thicker cut, and highly seasoned with season salt. The bun does not seem to be a sponge dough bun, like In-N-Out, and while it is a different bun, I would say it is just as good. There are a few picnic style tables in front but most people get their food to-go. I ordered a couple of burgers, chili cheese fries, and a corn dog. The burgers were pretty tasty but nothing wow. The corn dog was also good. But the chili cheese fries had an unusual flavor, kind of a tangy which I didn't care for. The burger had thick slices of American cheese, onions, tomatoes, and 1000 island dressing. The burger was tasty. But it's nothing like In-n-Out, as some of the reviews said.
